Aug 8, 2011attempted to close favorites dropdown list and was not able to get it back. I found it in one of my user accounts, but still can't get it back onto the homepage toolbar.

Aug 9, 2011I need to change providers from Verizon to AT&T. This modem came with the AT&T Sim card installed in my notebook. The software (Dell Mobile Broadband Utility Help) says " Choose Network Selection from the Settings Menu. Select AT&T and click Load." Unfortunately, Network selection is not an option.
How do I do it? This modem is compatible with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint networks.

Jul 29, 2011My daughter is 10,000 miles from home taking classes in South Africa and her laptop is having issues! She can connect fine via wifi at the local internet cafe and it works just fine....but from her flat she has to connect wifi first then sign into broadband. She can get the wifi connection but her modem just sits there saying dialing and never gets anywhereWe have tried updating the modem driver to no avail, there is no static IP set up in her network connections, modem status says its ok.

Sep 26, 2011I have a simple work network setup. 7 machines total.Basic cheap DSL line going into WRT54GS.WRT54GS controls DHCP.Cat going from WRT54GS to Switch.5 CPUS connected to switch2 CPUS connected to WRT54GS wirelessly. One server that is actually running 7-Pro. Basically, it is a central file server.No active directory.6 of 7 machines running 7 pro. one machine running XP pro.
Problem: The five machines that are wired work great. The two that are wireless will not connect to any machine on network after a period of several hours. If I boot all CPU's, everything works. Give it about 12 hours and the two wireless won't see the file server, or other machines.I moved them to static but that does not seem to work. Not a lot of traffic moving around on this network.If I reboot the win 7 machine that is wireless, it seems to work for a couple hours again.

Aug 10, 2012I recently upgraded to a new computer, it runs beautifully as expected however I encounter this problem with gaming. Whenever I hop in a game such as Dead Island, Arma 2 : CO (Day Z), Stalker : CoP, even Skyrim ( with SKSE, standard it ran okay. ) my connection will drop for my entire local network. I can still connect to my router, and it shows that I disconnect and reconnect with a new IP, from the logs it seems to be unprovoked. A few games will operate normally, however with Stalker, I play completely offline, and my connection still drops. It's not an instant disconnect, and it generally varies in time. However, when I'm not gaming, I get a steady connection with no issues, I get advertised speeds and can stream videos, and download perfectly fine. I've tried a USB wireless adapter to cross my motherboard off the list, and it encountered the same issue. But this problem just started occurring when I got the new computer.

The Win98 has died and now finally the NT4 sever has gone too.I intend to revert now to a workgroup type set-up and forget about domains (I don't need it really) My problem is if I remove my XP machine from the domain I loose all the program menu, shortcuts desktop etc. which are stored under the domain user name login.Can I retrieve these or at least look at them so I can set up the local XP administrator account with all my familiar stuff.
