Sep 22, 2011I play a game called Unreal tournament 2k4 in online. I am from Bangladesh a small country from south asia. I used to get 150 ping in a Japanese server. But 2 weeks ago my ping suddenly rise. Now its around 268-320 in same server. But i have 160 ping in another Japanese server. So i used trace-route option from avast IS to check the route of my connection.I found out that the server i am having high ping connects through Italy then to Japanese server. But the server i have low ping goes to Singapore then to Japan.My question is can i change the route of my connection so my first server doesn't take the route of Italy?

Sep 28, 2011The building Im in currently has Broadband fitted but was at a very low speed, I phoned my provider (SKY) who boosted the line but said we should be getting full speed as we are really close to the exchange.I live in a large building with 5 other people all using the net/xboxes. The guy at SKY pointed out that we were maybe not plugged into the main phone port. This was new to me as I assumed all phone lines into a building were evenly matched. I then searched the whole building and found (what I think to be as it has a dividing line like he mentioned on the front plate) the main phone port into the building. Unfortunately its on the very top floor.

Jun 8, 2012Im having problems connecting my broadband to the internet, when I press the "Connect" button here is what pops up;

1. Tried installing the software+driver to other laptops and it works fine.
2. Tried changing different modems and installed the required driver but ends up not able press the "Connect" button at all.

5. Tried Doing a Recovery system but fortunately the recovery system goes as far back the first time I've tried installing this device.
6. Tried disabling Anti-Virus
7. Tried installing old version of Mobile Partner but it seems like it didnt detect the device and a pop-ups saying "Failed to find Port" when installing Mobile Partner 2.3 .This laptop used this broadband before 1-2 months ago.
