May 23, 2012Have a computer running windows xp. Whenever I plug in my internet cable it says 'Acquiring Network Address'. I have left it for over and hour but it still says the same thing. I have connected other computers to the router with the same cable and they work perfectly. I have also tried channging the linkspeed for the network connection, renewing my ip address, repairing the network connection and disabling and enabling the connection.

This system is quite fallible and hence results in many unwarranted bans daily. In the event that I am unlucky enough to fall victim to the ban hammer, I simply change my IP and continue playing.

The software (Dell Mobile Broadband Utility Help) says " Choose Network Selection from the Settings Menu. Select AT&T and click Load." Unfortunately, Network selection is not an option.
How do I do it? This modem is compatible with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint networks.

Jul 29, 2011My daughter is 10,000 miles from home taking classes in South Africa and her laptop is having issues! She can connect fine via wifi at the local internet cafe and it works just fine....but from her flat she has to connect wifi first then sign into broadband. She can get the wifi connection but her modem just sits there saying dialing and never gets anywhereWe have tried updating the modem driver to no avail, there is no static IP set up in her network connections, modem status says its ok.

Jul 8, 2012I have an old ASA 5505, and I'm having some trouble with Nat Hairpinning. I've done this with other firewalls before and I am having no luck now. I have an internal address that I wish to forward from an external address- so if someone goes to 123.456.789.012:3456 then it will forward to 192.168.1.244:92 (All numbers are arbitrary here- only for illustration). I have and Access Rule and NAT and PAT set up so that I can get in if I originate from outside the LAN. What I am trying to do is to have this work from inside the LAN as well- so that if I am at my desk, and I connect a device and type in 123.456.789.012:3456, it will deliver the content at 192.168.1.244:92. The problem I am having is that it just isn't working, and I cannot figure out why- When I started here, there was an address configured to work this way, and it still works- I just cannot find what is different between what I am doing and what the person who configured it did.
