I'm having an issue with my wifi connection. Since 3-4 hours i can't access internet, although my router configuration page says that adsl is ok.But if i open utorrent, it find peers and start downloading. I've also tried with another pc and with two different wifi adapters, but unfortunately i can't try wired connection.

At the moment it keeps fluctuating between giving me interne and not I am using Skype to tell me if I have Internet ( when it's green I do when it's grey I don't) I have tried many things on forums like obtaining ip automatically or obtaining a fixed ip. I've tried renewing the ip and all this doesnt work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have 2 PCs at home, 1 desktop, 1 laptop both running XP SP2, and both hardwired to a DSL router. Last night, all was well, both machines working ok. This morning both machine have the same problem; IE and FF are unable to connect to the internet. Same goes for my smartphone; it can connect to the WiFi network but is unable to browse internet. Funny thing is, I have a stand alone IPphone connected to the same router and it works fine. Both PCs can run Torrent client, I see traffic on "peerblock" but google or hotmail just won't show up either with FF or IE
View 1 Replies View RelatedBasically both the wireless connection and LAN connection in my house were working fine until a couple of days ago. I got one of those viruses that redirects all the links that you go on to random websites on the main PC. I ran a full scan with McAfee Antivirus Plus and it came up with nothing. My brother suggested i try downloading malwarebytes on my laptop and installing it on the PC to get rid of it. Malwarebytes picked up the virus and got rid of it. I restarted the computer and when i tried to access the internet on the PC the message on the browser says "Could not connect". My wireless is fine, but the wired connection to the PC is not. When i look at it on the PC it says that it is connected but the browsers show no connection.

I have a new Alienware X51 running Win 7. It's connected to a home LAN, both wired and wirelessly. For the prior two days internet connectivity has been fine. Today, the PC will not connect to the internet. The Network and Sharing center in control panel shows that the PC is connected to both the wireless network and the wired network, but with no internet connectivity. All other computers and devices in the house are able to connect to the internet. Tried restarts, virus scans, router power off/on, ipconfig /release and renew, all with no luck. When I try and ping other computers in the LAN or the router I get a "General Failure" message.

Dell Studio, PP39L. The internet will connect, I have full internet access, but the internet will just stop working. Chrome won't freeze, but it won't load. I'll click on a new tab and type in any website, but it won't load. In addition to the problems I have connecting to the internet, once my computer begins to have these problems, I can't open anything. I'll try to open my documents, Microsoft Word, etc. but nothing will open/start up. The icon on the task bar will appear for a few moments before disappearing and nothing happens. I can't access my task manager, and more often than not, if I click on my task bar, it'll freeze. It doesn't have a specific pattern; it will work fine, and then out of nowhere, everything just...stops working properly. I'll restart my computer manually and everything will be fine, but eventually, it will freeze again.Whether it's relevant or not, my computer has given me the blue screen of death a few times..

When I setup the IAP as number 1, I add the MAC address of the computer in question. I then Select Allow and choose Everyday and 24 Hours. I type in the forbidden domains and click add after each one. I type in the keywords and click add after each one. After I click on Save, all of my computers on the network lose internet access.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I look at the "network and sharing" page it saying that I'm connected same goes for the "Wireless Network Connection Status" page (which says "internet" in the "IPv4 connectivity" and "no internet access" in the "IPv6 connectivity"). But when the computer has to update It'll say "no internet access" and when i go on Internet Explorer it won't say anything instead the green loading bar on the bottom of the page will be stuck in the middle.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI may be doing it incorrectly, but I'm trying to configure web access rules. I first set up access control and tell it to use the website filter. I've tried configuring it by both MAC address and IP address (separately, not simultaneously), but it still allows the listed sites in the web filter to get through. Is there something else I need to block or am I not doing something correctly? The network is on DHCP reservation, so IP addresses are always the same. MAC addresses, as I mentioned, don't work, either and they are fixed and logged in the router.

We are using a Meraki MR24 access point in our warehouse, the connection always starts out strong but sooner or later everyone will briefly lose connection and the AP goes away, then comes back and we're reconnected at excellent connection again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason i can't get access anymore to the web interface of our ACS 5.3 appliance.Where i used to get a certificate warning first, and after that the ACS5 login screen, i now get totally no response anymore in my IE browser.
I can telnet to port 443 of the unit however. And i (fortunately) still have ssh access to the unit. So i did a reload (microsoft habits) but that did'nt solve anything.https access to other systems from the same browser is functioning fine

I have setup a remote access on our 1841 device, with split tunnel.
now i am able to connect via the vpn tunnel, and even ping and telnet into the cisco device, but when i try to ping any device past the 1841, the ping fails and no traffic is even been encrypted to go over the vpn traffic (looking at the vpn client statistics).
From the ciscos side, pings to the vpn client is failing, yet i see the vpn client in the routing table.

I'm trying to get a wireless router working for friends. I got it to work yesterday, but now it is no longer working. [code] If I connect my computer to the HAG, it, of course, works fine.Yesterday, I hit the reset button on the back of the conitech router (because they didn't have the password) and went through the setup wizard, connecting my HAG to the WAN port on the router and it worked fine, both connecting via wireless and with a cable to one of the LAN ports on the router.Today it is no longer working. Both wireless and LAN show it is connected but I can't access the internet.

I reset the router because I didn't have the password to get in and haven't been able to get the connection back since. When I'm connected directly to the modem, I'm sending but not receiving packets. I'm unable to ping the modem ip, or yahoo.com. I've tried manually configuring and using DHCP. I also cannot access the modem's configuration page. (After i initially reset the router, when I tried to access the router's configuration page and was directed to the modem configuration page). When I'm plugged in to the router, I am able to get to the router config page - but still no internet connection. The modem does not have a hard reset (the reset button only resets the login name/password). I've spoken with two people at my ISP who told me different things - one that I couldn't use PPPoe and one told me I should be using it. When I spoke with them this afternoon, I was told that he tried to ping my connection and he could not. They're going to have someone call me sometime tomorrow, but this is the internet connection in a busy office and we need to be up and running when business starts tomorrow.

The internal host has no problem accessing the internet, but when I attempt to access the internal host from the outside, I get the following:

In a bit of a pickle and not sure which way to turn as I think I have exhausted all possibilities.We currently have 2 Cisco WAP4410n wireless access points running within our network. They are both on version 2.0.4.2 firmware and both on a static ip address within our infrastructure and are not working.
