Can't Connect To Wireless From XP But Can Connect From MAC?

I have a new broadband connection and I was kinda facing problems connecting wirelessly with my router.So I did go to my router page and then cloned my MAC book's mac id, and it worked fine. I'm able to connect to the internet wirelessly. However, I can't connect to internet from an Windows XP lappy. I have removed, re-added the network, the network is very much identified but the laptop doesn't wanna connect to the internet wirelessly.Both the laptops MAC Book pro and Dell(the one which has XP loaded) were able to connect without any problem in the previous ISP's case but XP doesn't wanna connect to with the new ISP.

I just bought the e1000 router today and I'm already having trouble. I got it setup the first time and all my computers set up with it and it works fine for internet. Everything is snappy and responsive and I don't have any of the problems I did with my old belkin. However, I am unable to connect to the router using cisco connect or the web interface. I need to forward ports, configure wireless security, etc etc. All I did was disable the guest account through cisco connect, and then when the software just sat there doing nothing with the spinning circle in the middle, I opened task manager and killed the process to get it to go away. Now I can't connect using either cisco connect or the web interface.

Recently I installed connectify because my uni flat only had one wired outlet, and I wanted to use my xbox at the same time. It worked perfectly, but when I returned home I found my laptop could no longer connect to the home network, it just says it cannot connect, but all the over devices in the house work. My laptop can still connect to the internet via an ethernet cable but this isnt practical at home. I've uninstalled the connectify program, and tried my best to make sure I got rid of all the stuff it's done, but still my problem persists

I have just built a PC desktop and do not think it has the wireless built-in on the motherboard. I'd like to connect to the local network wirelessly. I know that the easiest answer to this is to get a wireless PCI card. But can I ask that in order to be able to access to the LAN wirelessly, I could plug my PC directly into the wireless access point TP-Link.

I have just moved in to a basement apartment and can connect to the internet with my wireless but not with the ethernet cord ran downstairs for me. The other computers upstairs work fine on ethernet through the same router. I do not understand what the problem could be. here are my configs:

I can't seem to connect my laptop using my ethernet cable, but I'm able to connect it to the Internet using my wireless connection. Whenever I plug in the cable, my computer tells me that the LAN connection is connected, but I can't open a web page. I tried connecting the cable onto another laptop and it worked, so I don't know what's up with the LAN connection on mine.

Few days ago I started to get the following error message while trying to connect to the internet using Chrome and IE:"Unable to connect to the proxy server..."I don't have a proxy server configured - nothing is checked in the LAN settings page.In Firefox I don't have that problem - it seems it gets the proxy configuration from elsewhere.

In my device I am able to browse through & connect to my HOME wifi network ; But after connecting it says 'No Internet Access'.I tried connecting with my SONY Bluray , iphone , ipad , laptops -- everywhere same story.I am able to plug in the ethernet cable directly from modem & able to connect to network.I am not able to open the http://192.168.0.1 -- ( When I am plugged in the modem directly)

I'm trying to connect to my home laptop from work. The home laptop is connected to DIR-655 router. I set up the internal and external ports to 3389 using both TCP and UDP protocols with the Application as "Remote Desktop". From my work PC I enter the external IP with :3389 and it fails to connect. I have also tried accessing internally which is failing too. All computers are running Windows 7 Home Premium Remote Access is enable on all.

I'm connected to a wifi at home on my cellphone, says signal status is excellent, 54mbps, wpa psk security but I cannot connect to the network. My desktop pc is connected via ethernet and it is working. I tried connecting to a neighbor's wifi and it worked on the same cellphone. WLAN light is flashing, the rest are solid. For some reason, I can see the wireless connections on my laptop but not on my Dell Computer. When ever I try to connect on my computer i see no wireless connections at all, i have A wireless USB adapter that use to be on put in the back and recieved wireless connections in the past but now it doesnt, I try the front ports, and nothing works except for one, but that one port doesnt work for some reason, the same thing happens, no connection at all.

At first I can connect to Internet for 1 min and fails afterwards even if I reconnect to the router. Then I turn on the Access Control settings on my (NETGEAR) router and put my laptop into the trusted wireless stations list, now it can connect to Internet for 1 min and fails however it works for another 1 min if i reconnect to the router. So now I need to reconnect to the router every minute or so.I can connect to the Internet via Ethernet cables, so I am quite sure it's the wireless problem on my router but not the service provider's fault.

I've had my computer for about two years and never really seemed to have connection issues. Last week I was house sitting for my mom and when trying to connect to her internet I had a lot of problems, the computer would connect to the network, but it would say "local only". It would only work if I actually connected the cable from the router to my computer. Not a big deal, but then when I went back home I had the same problem connecting to my own router. Now I can't connect to any wireless internet, it will only work if the cable is plugged in. I'm running vista (if that matters) and my HP Wireless Assistant button is on. I'm not very tech savvy, so I don't know if this is a simple issue, like I turned on a firewall accidentally or what. But i do know the problem has to be with the computer, not the router, because I can't connect to ANY wireless.

I have 2 laptops in my apartment and a dandy little router. They have all lived happily together like good chaps until recently they decided to fall out with each other in the following fashion:
Laptop no.1 with XP installed happily works with my router through its software (Intel PROset Wireless I think)
Laptop no.2 with 7 installed has broken up with my router, refusing to connect to it even without a password! (Would you believe the things technology does).
I have enclosed with this message a tiny image with my error. Since the Windows is in italian, it translates to: "Windows was unable to connect to Manwhore", Manwhore being my fine router, the name reflecting its status.

I use a HP DM4 with 2WIRE 2701HG-B from AT&T. So..yesterday and before, i could still connect to the internet via wireless. But today, i found out i cant. I havent updated anything on my computer or anything. I can still get on by my phone and my family desktop but only my laptop doesn't work. I tried replugging, readding the wireless, rollback driver updates, etc but still doesn't work.

i tried googling but couldnt find anything use ful except for this website ( Url) when i first looked at it i was amazed tht it was sooo easy. but when i tried it it didnt work. when i tried it asked me a user name and password in the laptop but in my pc i couldn't find the laptop. I've got my network up an running and all my devices (wired computer, wireless PS3, wireless smartphone, etc..) can connect to the network except for one of my wireless computers. I've set the TCP/IP to obtain IP automatically and using the correct PPPOE username/pass I try to connect, but it never works.
