I'm connected to a wifi at home on my cellphone, says signal status is excellent, 54mbps, wpa psk security but I cannot connect to the network. My desktop pc is connected via ethernet and it is working. I tried connecting to a neighbor's wifi and it worked on the same cellphone. WLAN light is flashing, the rest are solid. I have a prolink adsl router.
My friend's wireless internet just suddenly failed last night. She was watching Youtube videos, but had to do something, so she closed the window. When she came back, she couldn't connect, and was given an error, something about user connectivity. Her wired connection is still working.

Recently I bought TD-W8151N wireless adsl router, I have one desktop computer that connected to TD-W8151N via ethernet and wirelessly to one laptop, IP Addr: 192.168.1.4, Subnet 255.255.255.0 and Gateway: 192.168.1.1 : desktop (LAN connection IP Addr: 192.168.1.3, Subnet 255.255.255.0 and Gateway: 192.168.1.1 : laptop (wireless connection) but I can't ping each other and also can't access the share folders between them., both computers can access internet. Is there anything I missed the configuration setting of the router? Before I use wireless, I connected this 2 computers using cross-type utp cable, and working good.
Recently I installed connectify because my uni flat only had one wired outlet, and I wanted to use my xbox at the same time. It worked perfectly, but when I returned home I found my laptop could no longer connect to the home network, it just says it cannot connect, but all the over devices in the house work. My laptop can still connect to the internet via an ethernet cable but this isnt practical at home. I've uninstalled the connectify program, and tried my best to make sure I got rid of all the stuff it's done, but still my problem persists

I am trying to setup a roku and the main router is about 30 ft away. I put in a repeater and it works for the laptop in the front room but not the roku. I was wondering if i could get a wireless adapter say the WET610N and configure it on the main computer then just plug it into the roku.
I came home last night and both my internet name and password were changed. I accessed the modem's website and changed both. I then hit connect to internet. My xbox worked, but none of my laptops. This morning I reset all the modem and the laptops. All of them connect but the internet is slow and fades in and out. My xbox tells my my NAT type is moderate. I go back on the modem's website and it says that none of my wireless devices can connect.
I have an HP dv8t and can't connect to the internet wirelessly. I run windows network diagnostics and result says Problem with wireless adapter or access point. Not fixed how can this be fixed?
I am about to buy the parts for my new gaming desktop, and I am looking into getting the right parts so it can connect to the internet wirelessly. In doing a bit of research, I have come across this card, and I am looking for opinions on the card/other viable options.

How to connect about 20 IP Cameras sccatered about 1km apart within a residential estate. I need to power the PoE switches at each camera location without cables and all cameras pictures/events must be monitored in a control room though a wireless network.
I am unable to connect to my network using my d-link wireless adapter. I am able to connect to my neighbor's network and other devices in my house can use my network with no problem. I am absolutely positive that I'm inputting the right password, but am unable to connect.
My hp pavilion g6 has always had the problem of not connecting to internet after i restart it. It shows excellent signal but cant connect to internet. This has been the case on two different routers/modems with two seperate service providers, however the problem gets fixed by turning off then back on the modem/router.
Now I decided to switch my desktop to hdmi after doing that the cord was affecting my wireless antenna so I took it out and put it in the other wireless antenna spot while it was on now everytime I try to connect it says the password is wrong or theres something wrong with the router everything else connects I have a dell inspiron 620 desktop and a Begin.91Bb modem/router
All of a sudden whenever I reboot my PC it can no longer see the router (ie it won't show up anything when I type in http://192.168.1.1) Usually I just mess about rebooting the router or reinitialising the network card (as instructed by the wizard!) eventually this works.... but not today...I can't connect - all the time the laptop connected wirelessly to the same router works fine. It's set up to obtain an automatic ip address whatever that means, could this be the problem ?? When I ping 192.168.1.1 (an instruction I found on another forum) it doesn't work..
I received a new hard drive along with recovery discs from dell yesterday. They told me the new drive would be blank and I would have to run the discs. Not a problem. Installed the OS along with the drivers that had check marks next to them.
Today I plug in my home internet and it won't work. Unplug it and turn the wireless back on and it gets online just fine.
I'm having trouble connecting to my Belkin router wirelessly (Wired works fine). I try to get to the IP address (192.168.0.2 and every other version of that) but it does not connect. On the router only Security, Wired, and Router are lit up; Wireless, Modem, and Internet are dark. I have reached the end of my limited computer capabilities trying to fix this problem myself.
Currently i have one main router in my house connected to the phone line. what i want to do is add another standalone router which will wireless connect to my main one.i want to connect my computer to the router wired then that router connects to the main router wirelessly.what is this method called ive seen things like wireless repeaters and wireless bridge.
I have a friend whose Dell Latitude D800 and has been able to connect to the internet wirelessly using a Net Gear wireless adaptor.Comcast cable came several days ago to set them up to connect to the internet using their cable modem. The modem is working fine and packets are sent out but there is no internet connection and no packets received.
i really don't get it what caused this. There was a problem from the provider.. then this .. I resetted the router, could get to the Interface.. and now i can't And besides that, the internet connection get's picky to what lets work For example i could use gmail .. but not this page.. or instant messaging worked, but not browsing (and the speed was awful) at the moment the connection seems stable though (the changes from above were made)
I'm having a big problem with my connectivity. I can connect to the internet (a BT Home Hub router) using my ethernet cable but not using wireless. My computer is searching and finding wireless networks, but when I try to connect to my router, it says limited access/connectivity.
I haven't used my computer in quite a long time (7 months) as it stopped working and is miraculously working again now (huzzah!) but the wireless does not, when it was perfect previously.
I have run IPCONFIG/ALL and the details are below. This is done with the ethernet cable attached.

Yesterday everything was working fine, but when I got home today I couldn't connect to my router. I tried connecting on my computer, my mac, and my netbook ALL couldn't even find the SSID. I directly connected my mac and netbook to my modem and was able to connect to the internet, so I know it's not an ISP problem. I then re-connected the WAN cord from my modem to the back of my Netgear Wireless-G Router WGR614V10. All the lights come on but I still can't find the router when I tried connecting wirelessly. When I connect an Ethernet cord to a LAN port on the router, I can get connection.
All of a sudden whenever I reboot my PC it can no longer see the router (ie it won't show up anything when I type in http://192.168.1.1) Usually I just mess about rebooting the router or reinitializing the network card (as instructed by the wizard!) eventually this works.... but not today...I can't connect - all the time the laptop connected wireless to the same router works fine. I can't connect via wifi to my router, but can connect to the internet with an ethernet cable. However, my other computer connects via wifi without problems. I've gone through my troubleshooting and the wifi light is on, so that's not the issue. I also updated my driver (says it's working fine) and even tried to uninstall and reinstall it. I am not sure what else to do. If I try to connect via wifi though, the computer recognizes all the available networks, including my own, but just won't connect. It says a cable is unplugged (which at that time it is, because it's supposed to connect wirelessly).I have a HP Pavilion dv6-3147sb Entertainment notebook, and it uses Windows 7.
I have purchased a Sony bravia tv with built in wireless. However I am unable to connect the tv wirelessly but I am able to connect wired.I have tried changing various settings on the livebox including taking off the firewall and changing the channel nmber (frequency) and still unable to connect. The tv does pick up the SSID of the router but the router just doesn't seem to release an IP address within its range as I keep getting a 169.x.x.x instead of 192.x.x.x.
-Tried to connect to internet, got message "unable to connect to proxy server"
-Decided this proxy stuff isn't worth it, deleted the proxy extension
-Reset router
-Now wireless isn't working on ANY laptop- it shows a connection available but cannot connect to it, however wired connection works (and is how I'm on here right now)Is this as simple as setting up a new wireless connection?
-went under "proxy server" under "LAN settings" in ctrl panel
-The box which stated "use a proxy for LAN" was checked, and the address and port I obtained from hidemyass were underneath
-I unchecked the box, applied the new settings, and reset my router
I just bought a DGND3700, but can't get wifi working. It connects to the internet fine, but devices can only connect via ethernet cable. I can see the SSIDs - both 2.4GHz and 5GHz - but whenever I try to connect, after entering the password I'm told that "Windows was unable to connect to (SSID)". Of course, the Windows troubleshooter, but no luck. This problem happens across all my PCs and phones. The router has the latest firmware version. All blocking, access control, etc. settings are turned off.
I had a new computer delivered today and it will only connect with the ethernet cable, not wirelessly. My housemate's computer still connects fine, my old computer connected fine, the trouble shooting option doesn't work. I'm using windows 7. The computer recognises the wireless strength as 'excellent' but simply informs me that it is unable to connect.
