Cisco :: 7010 What Packages And Versions Are Required To Recognize Card With LMS 4.1
Feb 25, 2013
I have LMS 4.1 and I'm trying to render a Nexus 7010 in Ciscoview. I have downloaded the latest package files. The Sup2 and Fab2 modules (N7K-SUP2 and N7K-C7010-FAB-2) show as "unsupported card".What packages and versions are required to recognize this card with LMS 4.1?

I would want to create an inband management (in case of we are a issue on OOB mgmt, i means to have a 2960 HS) on Nx7010 chassis without M1 card (only F1 cards - layer 2). I could create a interfce vlan but the status of the interface is down/down.
I have an other 2 x Nx7010 pair with M1 card ; for this pair, i can connect the interface ; the inband interfaces is up/up.I have also 2 x Nx5596 pair ; for these boxes, i can connect the interface ; the inband interfaces is up/up.Do you know a solution to get 1 interface vlan up/up on chassis 7010 without M1 card in order to have an inband connexion ?

When the router boots up, the boot loader keeps telling me it does not recognize the card and wait until it fully boots to see the revision on the card, but I can not see the revision on the card because it is unrecognized.
What boot loader I need to get the 7204 to recognize the card?

I'm using an nvidia ethernet card that's in my mobo. Yesterday I had internet without any problems but this morning when I turned my computer on, the light on it wasn't blinking. Tried turning power on/off, unplugging and pluhging back but still no solution.Checked Device Manager and there is no (!) or (?) next to the device name. Also it says device is working properly. Even did the "scan for hardware changes" and again it shows that device is working properly.. But that's not all! The weirdest thing here is that my 3 neighbours who are from the same ISP have the exact same problem. We're connectrd to 1 box that is outside. The other part of the village that is on the same ISP has no such problems. So I'm wondering if it's a local corrupt cable problem or our cards have fried. I believe we use fiber optic cables.

I recently updated to Windows 8, and before updating, Windows 8 setup recognized the drivers for my Belkin G Desktop wireless card. After installation, my system was able to connect to my wi-fi network without any problem. However, due to the power going off at my home, an automatic update on Windows 8 got interrupted.
Since then, it has caused a ton of problems, which caused me to finally re-install Windows 8. Now, however, it does not recognize the wireless card and its drivers, and does not let me install from the CD, or through any alternate sources ?

I got a few Cisco Aironet 3602i. The minimum WLC version to support these is 7.1.91.0. I am planning to upgrade to 7.2.103.0. The minimum WCS version to support these WAP is 7.0.220.0 and the next available 7.0.230.0. Checking the release notes for both of these WCS versions, there is no mention of support for WLC versions listed above.
URL
Am I missing something here ? What versions would be required on WCS and WLC to make all the three entities (WLC, WCS, WAP) inter-operable ?

I have 3 WLC's currently running version 7.0.116 and a WCS on version 7.0.220. I am looking at upgrading the versions and am uncertain as to the compatibility.
1. Upgrade the WCS to 7.0.240, and upgrade the WLC's to 7.3. Resulting in my WCS just not able to manage the "new features" in the latest WLC code?
2. Upgrade the WLC's to 7.3 resulting in WCS completely unable to manage the WLC's? I am aware there is WLC 7.4 code however I've read there is an issue with 1142 AP's rebooting.

I am in the process of rebuilding our ASA 5540 pair. We are currently on 8.2 code with this set of firewalls and I was going to upgrade it to 8.4 being I have a couple of other firewalls running this code currently and am familiar with it. That said, I saw that the 9.x code is out there now. Are there any major advantages or caveats with the 9.0 code? I plan to use this firewall with SSL VPN and RSA Secure ID integration for the next 2-3 years at least. Any quick pointers on these two code versions and on upgrading to 9 or staying with 8.4 line.

Why do some versions have heatsinks and others don't? The HP branded cards EH352AA always seem to have the heatsink, but very few Intel branded cards have it. I'm talking about the single port NICs - all dual+ port cards have the heatsink.

I am configuring two 2504 controllers, which I ordered together, however they run different software versions and I don't have a contract/ login to download wlan controller software from the Cisco website. The one with the newest version runs 7.2.103.0 while the other one runs 7.0.220.0 I want to run them together in the same subnet and use them for redundancy (10 AP's will connect).
Is there a way I can download the software from the controller, just like I am able to do with an ASA firewall? Then I can upload it to the controller with the older software version.

We have 3200 logical devices configured on CiscoWorks and CiscoWorks is running very very slow. CiscoWorks installed on server with Windows Server 2003 32-bit and this version of windows it can only support RAM up to 4GB, which is already installed. In order to increase the RAM we have to upgrade the windows version as well. Which versions of Window can perform best with CiscoWorks. E.g. Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1), Standard Edition 64-bit: or Windows server 2008 etc. We are currently using the LMS 3.2, RME 4.3.0, CM 5.2.1

I am working for a customer on an enterprise site containing many 6509's. We have built a test environment and upgraded a chassis from sup720 running 12.2(18)SXF15 to VS-S2T-10Gb running 12.2(50)SY on the management card. I have noticed and so has the customer that there are many commands missing or added and they want an expalnation of these. I can do some of them easily, change syntax etc but for instance it has added a table-map, 50 vlans with a large MTU and large COPP policy.
What are these ?? and also is there a quick way resource etc to find out why the commands have been added/removed, for instance-mls ip cef load-sharing full is missing--

I'm putting together a lab to start on my CCNA and I've got two 3640s and two 2620s. I want to upgrade all of the units before I start on the CCNA and I'm having trouble working out what the final rommon version is for each of the routers. My 3640's are on version "Version 11.1(20)AA2". Is this the final release ?
One of my 2620's is on "Version 12.2(10r)1" and the other is on "Version 12.2(6r)". Is "10r" the final release for the 2620 ?I've also seen a few sites mention that either version "8r" or "3r" of the 2620 rommon adds support for 32MB flash SIMMs. Is that correct ?Is there a document that describes the differences between the different releases ?

We have Internal Wireless Controllers to be set up for HA (AP SSO) and wireless traffic from Guest SSID will be terminated on a Guest Anchor Controller inside Firewall DMZ. The Internal WLC controllers are installed with software versions 7.3.101.0, and the Guest Anchor controller is installed with software version 7.2.103.0. Just wondering if the Guest Anchor controller needs an upgrade to match the software versions on the HA controllers. Also, Cisco provides a new version of code, 7.3.112.0 now. So is it recommended to install the new software version on the HA controllers as well as the Guest Anchor Controller.

One of the Web Application is working from internal network but from outside (or internet) through Web VPN, it is getting stuck and trying to load JAVA version. It is to be mentioned here, the latter web application is required Java Version 1.4.2 while the working applications are working with Java 1.5.1.
Is it possible to mount the more than on Java version on Cisco ASDM to be worked together ?

I have many of these, many models and versions. I have a WRT54G v1, V1.1, V2....V8, I also have WRT54GS's WRT54GL's and others, Lots of other Linksys stuff, almost all of it in the Blue and Black boxes of varing sizes.I have a heck of a time when I reconfigure my network or the wife changes the furniture. I'd love a single document that lists the power specifications and adapter requirements for thens devices... I can't find them any where on the Linksys site. I Have looked and searched and nowhere can I find a consolidate list.
Any have a list of the DC power Specifications, Barrel sizes, and other stuff needed to buy a replacement Power adapter. This page url...lists a lot of information but does not list this critical information... I am amazed that Linksys does not have it listed some where here. Losing a wall wart should not be a reason to pull you hair out, just a simple purchase, If they don't want to stock them, then at least tell us what they are.

Another restart resolves problem, but only for next few hours.Computers and other devices "see" my wireless network and they are able to connect to it, but the process stops at requesting IP number. There was no such effect with original firmware (although there was another problem with 2200BG), so I want to downgrade.where can I find previous versions of WRT120N firmware?
