In a cluster of redundant ACE-4710, version A5(1.2), the graphical Device Manager on the primary ACE cannot authenticate users. An error message is displayed :The strange thing is that the standby ACE Device Manager work correctly. Moreover, both ACE are perfectly synchronized :
CH01AC03/P-115-A# sh ft group summary
FT Group : 14 Configured Status : in-service Maintenance mode : MAINT_MODE_OFF My State : FSM_FT_STATE_ACTIVE My Config Priority : 200
When trying to view the status in the Monitor tab and the Config tab after you log in to the ACE 4710 Device Manager A5 (1.2) management GUI tool, I could not retrieve the status data and the following message appeared.
"Faild to upload Adimn configuration: There is error in loading configuration: Error in loading RMO config from DB:The given index XXXXXXXXX.bak does not match table index definition"
Other features include all normal, so I can get information by using the CLI.In addition, this configuration is redundant in the Primary / Secondary, this event occurs only on the Primary.
Other:-XXXXXXXXX.bak is a backup that you created in the checkpoint, and it does not already exist.
-When I'm logged on to the GUI, the above message is displayed in the status bar always.
-It was not recovered by ACE restart it.
-When I try to create the same configuration in a different environment, it did not reproduce.
I have a problem in the ACE 4710. In view of the connections of a web environment. When I view connections on Config> Operations> Real Servers, Conns column values appear very high connections (Example. 1606317769078).Already in Config> Operations> Virtual Server the number of connections appear normal. Version 4710 ACE Device manger A4 (2.1a)
I want to configure my ACE so that if a probe fails, it fails over to the backup rserver, BUT it won't failback to the primary rserver until manual intervention is complete. The problem is we don't want an rserver to fail and failover to secondary, then failback to primary, repeat... (flip-flopping). I want to be able to have time to get on the server and find out what may have caused the probes to fail before it fails back.
I've got basic connectivty to our ACE30 module and when I try connecting to the management IP address (attached to the Admin context), I see a very basic GUI which only lists the CSM to ACE config conversion tool. I don't see a GUI as detailed in the document: url...How do I get the ACE Applicance Device Manager GUI working so that I can then configure real servers, serverfarms etc rather than via the GUI?Having read through copious amount of documentation I can't seem to find a refrence that would ne useful here. This should be a fairly straight forward exercise - do I need to install some other software to get the full fledged GUI working?
I need to setup new ACE 4710 device , after referring to "Establishing a Console Connection on the ACE" i had managed to set up initial console connection. During installtion i had configured vlan (default vlan 1000) , interface ip adess& subnet mask.
Post initial config i understand i should be able to open' Device Manager GUI Login Window' but it is not opening.I also need inputs on setting 4710 for the telnet connection

Report run via Individual Web server URL’sThe report takes less than 20 minutes (average 15 minutes) to fetch and return the data. This is observed 9 out of 10 times.Report run via ACE Load Balanced URLThe report keeps on running for more than 20 minutes and never completes. The front end keeps showing report is running. The data in general when tested directly by running queries against the database (bypassing the platform) completes in 15-18 minutesThe network connectivity for each and every ports involved (Loadbalancer/Servers) have been throulgly checked.
My desktop PC don't have the opportunity to make sync between the computer and my phone, (Samsung Galaxy SII ) via Wi-Fi. There is no Wi-Fi in my Desktop PC, and I use cable to the Internet.so that they can talk to each other via Wi-Fi connection.
I am attempting to register QPM 4.1.5 into LMS 3.2.1 Portal, under Home Page Admin - Application Registration but It fails. It seems to be a bug where it puts the details in the wrong place when submitting the info.
This is the output that it tries to submit obviously - Description, host name, port number and protocol are mixed up.You have selected the following application to be imported from the remote server. [code]
I'm not sure where to find the Tomcat logs or how much use they would be.
I have four rservers. I have found that if the first listed server in my serverfarm is off line, the entire farm quits working. How did I come to this conclusion? You see as part of "serverfarm host PORTAL-FARM" rservers "SISPOAS1 through 4". I can shut down any server except SISPOAS1 and all is well. The load balancer sees the probes have failed to that given server and continuses to load balance to the others. However, If I shut down SISPOAS1, nothing works. I confirmed this by eliminating SISPOAS1 from the configuration completely. After doing so, I could reproduce the exact same problem using SISPOAS2 since it is now the first rserver in the list after I removed SISPOAS1. I'm stumped! Looking at the configuration below, what am I missing???

I'm working on a small scale Cisco WAAS deployment. I want to know if it's possible to use the entry level Cisco WAVE-294-K9 as Central Manager. Also about licensing, does this appliance model come with the enterprise level license
I would like to use the Cisco ATA 186 as a SIP device with Cisco Call Manager 7. However, I have found that the SIP firmware for the Cisco ATA 186 is unsupported by Call Manager 7.Therefore, In order to use the ATA as a SIP device with the Call Manager, I believe I will need setup the ATA as a 3rd Party SIP device by doing the following:
1. Disable the TFTP option within the ATA, so that the SIP firmware is not overwritten by firmware from the TFTP server.
2. Install the 3.2.1 SIP firmware on the ATA, since the ATA is currently running the 3.2.4 SCCP firmware.
3. Register the ATA, as a third-party SIP device, with the Call Manager .Should I register the ATA as a 3rd party device?
I have a XFX Nforce 750a SLI mobo and reinstalled winxp pro and now Im missing the network adapter in device manager. I have a wireless pci card installed and can find that under hidden devices in D manager but no onboard! I do have yellow ? for other devices and yellow ? for everything in there:[CODE]
I was trying to fix a diagnosis error under my Internet Connection stating your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding. I thought maybe going to Device Manager while showing hidden files selected then go to non plug and play, and then I deleted NetBT, and then a PC reboot. I was very wrong because I have no Internet, and honestly, I only have one PC.I have Windows 7 Home Premium Anytime Upgrade that I bought. It's a 32-bit OS.
I just recently got the internet and I have a desktop computer that has ever rarely been used and it has never had the internet on it. I called tech support of my ISP to see what many be the problem why I can't connect to the internet and found that the source of the problem was I do not have a LAN network connection. When I open Network Connections on the computer, nothing is there. I also went to device manager and there is nothing there for Networking. Under category of "Other Devices" in Device Manager there is a question mark next to "Ethernet Controller". Are there drivers or something I need download to fix this so I can connect to the internet via a DSL connection.
My computer specs are:
Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2
I'm running v4.3.5 in our WAAS environment. At the CLI of one of our 7341 WAEs, there are several connections that show up [code] However, in the Central Manager nothing shows up - not even empty graphs - when I click on a device and go to monitor/connections statistics. After a few minutes, I do get an error message that states "Error retrieving connection stats. Please ensure that the device is online and then refresh." By the way, I get all other statics in the GUI such as Optimization Details Report, Traffic Summary Report, etc. Another thing, these WAEs are behind a router and supposedly the ports to allow access to/from the WAEs and other data is allowed through the firewall.
Is there some special port that needs to be opened on the firewall to allow for 'connection statistics' information displayed, that doesn't need to be opened for the other statistics to display? Or could this be a bug in the software?
this is a device discovery issue with LMS 3.2. The devices added up in Common Services are not getting reflected under Campus Manager and Device Fault Manager. The devices are manually added and are stack switches (2960S-24TS-L).
If I ask to the Supported Device Finder Portlet about C4503-E (SysObjectId: 184.108.40.206.220.127.116.11.874), it tells that this device is supported by DFM 4.1.0. Nevertheless, in DFM module each one devices appear in the "All Unknown Devices" group, with Error Code: Unsupported. CDP is enable in each one of these devices.
HP computer, was working last friday and today it isnt. Can not connect to the internet or outlook etc. Looked in BIOS says it is conected to LAN - tried enabling and disabling it and re-booting it. Still nothing. Had a tech guy that said to look in device manager, but network adapter was no where to be seen. What shall i try next to resolve this problem?
Have an hp pavilion a1700n with amd athlon. I switched from Vista to XP, but it's not recognizing some drivers. The network card is not detected on my pc, however the device manager says is working properly!!!??? What can I do? I need to connect to the internet in order to download the other drivers.
co worker brought me his comuter to reinstall windows xp, because he did not like vista, he also had his own xp discs, i have done everything like normal, have done this a time or two not my first rodeo with reinstalling windows xp, this is however the first time that this network issue has happened, i have installed the device driver cd as well along with the reset tool from dell's website, im getting NOWHERE.
