I have a pair of NAM (WS-SVC-NAM-2) blades in my CAT65.I have been instructed to upgrade my NAM from application version 5.0 to 5.1.1?
The TAC engineer also said that I should upgrade my maintainence software from 2.1(5) to a newer version. He did not say which maintainence version I should upgrade to.
I am having a problem locating the software on CCO. provide me with a link so to the space where these files are hosted (NAM application & maintainence software) ?
During installation of CM 5.1.4 on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server, I get popup windows "Stop All Programs". I checked Windows Service console but have been unable to determine which processes may be holding these files.
I have a server connected to my router with a CAT5. I usually manage the server from my laptop connected to the router via WLAN. I often need to add files to a public folder on the server so it can be dowloaded by my clients when they need them. I can access my personal laptop from the server, but I cannot access the server's files from my laptop. This is recent and used to work fine. I also cannot acces other personal computers on my network that I often connect to
I have two Windows 7 computers and neither one will successfully upgrade a 1242 AP to LWAP. However, I go to a coworker's XP machine and run the tool without issues. On Windows 7 I keep receiving the error message of ACL or Firewall is blocking. I have added rules and then even tried disabling the firewalls completely on both computers and still no success.
Is it possible to upgrade the CSACS-1121-UP-K9 to be a non upgrade part? We were going to upgrade from a Windows 4.x to the above Appliance (version 5.x) but there is now a reason to keep the old Windows version running therefore we cannot give the new Appliance the old ACS's licenses?!So we should have (with hindsight) bought a fresh version of the ACS 5.x rather than an upgrade.

I am having problems with the RVS4000 ver 1. I cannot download files from the web. Firmware is up to date. As an example, if I try to download from pdf995's site, I get a "page cannot be displayed error. If I try to download current files for my flight planning software (like charts, etc.), the download hangs and never completes. I have bypassed the RVS4000 and connected directly to the broadband router and there are no problems. We have a 15MB cable connection.Follow-up - It appears the issue is file size. At pdf995's site, downloading a 2.5MB file works, but the 9 MB file does not. The file sizes for the flight planning software are rather large - 100-200 MB, and they hang as well. Connecting directly to the cable router does not cause this problem. The RVS4000 is set for Gateway mode.
I installed ise-1.1.1.268.i386.iso on a scratch to the new NAC 3315. I want to keep my documents on my XP SP2 machine, but be able to edit them from a windows 7 laptop. Points so far:1. I can print from windows 7 to XP OK.2. Before I re-installed XP this was working fine.3. The workgroups match4. I can see the XP files on the windows 7 machine5. When I click on an XP file on the windows 7 machine, it goes very slowly, then gives a "Not Accessible" error.6. I have not used passwords to set this up.
I have 50GB storage on box.com and DropBox.So i just want to back up my files there.Web interface just sucks and offers no customization.Their desktop programs are only to sync, and dont do much to just upload.I dont wanna sync folders, i just want to upload files!
I know this is sort of a stupid question, but I just spent over an hour with a Microsoft Tech Support guy who had absolutely no clue what he was doing. He frequently paused for five minute intervals to "confer with his resources" (I suspect he was reading an outline that told him what to do), and every time I explained that an issue did not work precisely as he expected, he had to put me on hold and talk to someone else. It was hellishly aggravating
I was wondering what settings need to be set, and what needs to be done on both computes, i have Printer sharing up and running with no problems but i can't seem to get my mac to be detected on my main Windows 7 PC. I am able to connect to my Windows 7 PC but can't seem to get my mac to show up. Also i have connected it to the Windows 7 workgroup and still nothing.
I have 3 computers in my home network: the main computer, a laptop, and an old computer used for streaming vids and pix to the TV. I recently upgrading the main computer from XP to Win7, as well as upgraded the TV computer from Win98 to XP. The laptop and main computer are fine. The problem arises when I try to access files from either the laptop or main computer from the TV computer.I've also read something about that the user name and password has to be the same on all the computers on the network, but that doesn't really make sense. The laptop and main computer don't have the same user name and they work fine. Besides, before I disabled password file sharing, I entered the proper name and password for the main computer and it still wouldn't let me connect.
I have network group set up for 5 computers and everything is okay except 1 computer, lets call it X, cant access files from computer, Y, but there arent problems with Y getting into X. On computer X a login screen pops up for computer Y password but it doesnt have a password and it still wont let me in. would it be better to set a password or is there a way to bypass that screen?
Everyone speaks about video and music streaming, however I am under the understanding that there isint actually any such thing as legitimate real time streaming, ALL files are saved to the disk or the RAM. If this was not the case, disrupting your Internet connection would cause an instantaneous crash of the streaming media, and well, I have had my Internet crash a lot of times while viewing streaming median and in every case it continued to play for some time.
I have a desktop computer connected by ethernet (VISTA) and a Windows7 laptop by wireless. I am trying to share folders have got the share saying no passwords and yet when I click on a folder it asks for user name and password, no passwords have been set to open either computers.
I downloaded the HOSTS file from winhelp2002.mvps.org, hoping it would better my security. However, now some pictures that used to show either show the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." or just have the X box thing. I'm guessing this problem results from the new HOSTS file. What should I do? Should I revert to my old file? If so, then how can I do this?
I've just got a brand new 1 TB external hard drive. I want to use this to back my computer files on. I move back to University soon and ill probably get robbed, so i was thinking, if I were to leave this new drive back home on my old machine, could i put files onto it over the internet? Of course id have to make sure the machine at home is on but thats no problem.
I have a small office network of 6 computers. I have just added the 6th computer running windows 7 home premium to the network and having a few problems. We are running sage accounts system and i cant connect to the main computer that is acting as the hub which runs of windows xp to acces the sage data. The main computer is visible on the network along with all other computers on the network but i cannot connect to it. when i click on it a box appears titles 'windows security' it asks me to 'enter network password' and says below 'enter your network password to connect to cornwall-31aae0' which is the name for the hub pc.
I type in the username and password for that computer and press ok and nothing happens the box flashes and remains the same as if stuck in a continual loop. i have tried various combinations of usernames and passwords including using the computer name as a username and none work.i have played around with the settings changing workgroups and network names etc to match the hub pc and none work either. i have disabled and enabled password protected sharing etc and none of this works either. i seem to have tried everything and also tried matching the settings so that it is the same to another pc on the network running windows 7 also but still makes no difference.
i cant share any of my files on my windows 7 pc to my windows xp pc..it ask for a username & password & a permission on windows 7. and one more thing can i use both ddr2 800 & ddr2 667 memory at the same time as long as motherboard supports it?
I am getting "There might be a problem with one of more fo the network adapters on this computer" and none of them will connect to a network. According to ipconfig /all.. None of them exist. Device manager seems the network adapter, and I can even "attempt" to connect to a wireless connection. Its like the adapters are not linked to any networking protocol. I have looked in the adapter properties, and they have all the needed services, protocols, etc are installed. When I ask windows to fix it I am told that "There might be a problem with one of more network adapters on this computer" with the options that it may be experiencing hardware related issues, that the IP bindings are incorrect, or that I should view available wireless networks. I have tries resetting the winsock and the tcpip stack with netsh, no no avail. Reinstalled network adapters. Finally, when I do an ipconfig /all there is one adapter. "Tunnel adapter local area connection* 7: And the media is disconnected.
