View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm using 4 wap200 cisco AP, 1 wap200e linksys AP and 1 cisco sf300-24p switch. Every AP has 2 SSIDs,one is for clients and one for mobile devices.I have updated the equipment to the latest firmware but I still encounter the same issue. The mobile devices go through APs and once every 2 days, my wap200e blocks its lan interface. I suspected a stp issue, because the switch was seeing MAC addresses coming from different ports. So I disabled STP on the switch and on the AP. The annoying thing thing is that none of my other antennas get cut off.I tried replacing it with a cisco wap200e,same issue.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased a new ap1041n access point. It's the first Cisco I've tried to configure in a long time. I'm trying to get the 802.11n working but it seems to be stuck in 802.11G since I can only get it to go up to 36mb. The radio says its running in mixed mode and I can't figure out if that means b/g or b/g/n. I ran the Express Setup and it didn't seem to work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have 2 aironet 1310 aps setup as infrastructure access points between 2 buildings. One went south on us & we placed it. Before the bad one went down, we were able to manage both remotely & could see them from the next device via CDP. Now, we can't connect or even ping either AP. And the weird part is that the switches that connected to each can see each other via CDP, but not the access points between them. I'm attaching the configuration. Before I make the 2.5 hour drive back to the site, what I may have misconfigured on either or both access points?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was having some connectivity issues with my network of WAP54G's, so I had a technician come to have them looked at. The technician turned out to be completely clueless, and he messed up one of the APs in the process. He changed its IP address and apparently updated its firmware, but he didn't write the new address down, so now I can't access its administrator panel. I've tried to retrieve the IP address using the setup CD that came with the AP, but it doesn't even see the AP in my network. I've tried to factory reset the AP by holding the reset button for 10, 30 and 60 seconds and unplugging the power cord, but to no avail. It still doesn't bring up the admin panel when I enter the default IP in the browser. I think I've tried everything I could find on the Internet about this problem that didn't involve cracking the AP open, but none of it has worked.

According to the Belkin support tech, apparently the weather (?) may have effected my Belkin Model F5D8235-4 v3 router. My wife pressed the re-set button instead of powering down which according to the tech set my router to reading zero (0).Belkin tech refused to tell me how to re-set the router unless I paid $75 for a six month support plan because mine expired recently.

View 1 Replies View Related i have an issue with a 2106 WLC. We have a 44xx series WLC and had an issue with Apple devices: they could not print from wireless. The workaround in the 44xx series WLC was that we have enabled Unicast in the Access Point Multicast mode (configued under Controller/General).
The issue now is that the 2106 wlc does not have unicast in AP multicast mode.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was given this router (it's my 3rd one) and cannot get the reset button to reset the password. I have run throught a 30/30/30 reset as well as just holding the button in for the standard 30 seconds.
I know the router works, as in i can ping it. It asks for a password when i go to 192.168.1.1, but *blank* and "admin" do not work. When i click the cancel button it displays a pink(salmon) screen that says "401 Unauthorized Authrization required". (all of this is when i am connected to it with an ethernet cable to #1)
When it's sitting there it has an led lit over power and one ove wlan which flickers from time to time.
