we are having trouble logging into the webinterface of our DCNM installation.
(Cisco Prime DCNM 6.1(2), Windows 2008 R2 SP1 64 bit version, US)
Everything seems to be working fine so far, except the login to the webinterface.
When calling https://<SERVER_IP> (we're using 443 and 8443 in our setup), the login page appears. Entering the credentials results in the message "Authentication Failed. Please try again.". We tried that from a remote machine and the server itself and are using local authentication (not RADIUS or LDAP, ...).
On the other hand, when running the DCNM LAN Client (using the same credentials not working for the webinterface), there is a link (see image below: "here") pointing to the webinterface.

Problem:
guest SSID is turned on
password is established
All devices will connect to the guest SSID and the E4200 is assigning an ip address to the device in the 192.168.33.xxx range which is what it's supposed to do.When I open a web browser, I am not automatically redirected to the Cisco Login Page. If I enter 192.168.33.1 as the URL, the login screen is presented. I enter the password I have created in the guest admin page on the wireless guest tab. I then see a blank page and a URL of 192.168.33.1/guestnetwork.asp. THIS IS WHERE I GET STUCK. THE ONLY WAY TO EVER SEE THE LOGIN PAGE AGAIN IS TO REBOOT THE E4200, otherwise you just get unable to connect messages when opening web browsers and the wireless status icon in the system tray shows a yellow exclamation mark.
I successfully connect to the guest SSID but I do not get access to the internet. When I type ipconfig, I see that the DNS is set to 192.168.33.1 which does not exist on my network. I assume there's some internal NAT magic that is supposed to happen in the E4200 to bridge me over to my 192.168.15.xxx network but it doesn't seem to be happening.At the beginning of the call I specifically asked them if the E4200 must be the DHCP server in order for the guest SSID feature to work and they said no. 1.5 hours later they had no answers so they told me that it wasn't working because the E4200 was not the DHCP server. The documentation says nothing about a DHCP requirement for guest AP service. Linksys support further could not answer what you would do if you needed more than one AP with guest service enabled.It seems like this is a firmware issue but it may be the guest SSID service requires the E4200 to also act as the DHCP server. Whether this is a bug or if the router/AP is working as designed?
I have a website account with fatcow. I created the website with Dreamweaver software and uploaded it to fatcow via port 21.My internet connection was via xplornet and I had no access problems. I upgraded to xplornet's new g4 system and now I can no longer access my account online or upload to my website.We have two computers. The first is a desktop system that has the dreamweaver software. The second is a laptop which connects wirelessly. We share the signal through a dlink router. The modem is a viasat Surfbeam 2 residential satellite modem.1. When I attempt to login to the fatcow control panel, the tab shows successfully authenticated and then re-directs me back to the login page. This happens on both the laptop and the desktop.
I have tried bypassing the router and the problem still exists.I took the laptop to the computer center and I can login to the account no problem.I used a free proxy server page on the internet and can login from my home system on my desktop no problem.I have completely turned off virus scan and firewalls. It doesn't work. I have tried IE7, Chrome, Firefox and they all have the same problem. The laptop runs IE8 and has the same problem.I can ping the page successfully. I can traceroute the page successfully. I can't nslooup any site at all. I get the domain not existant message.My ip and dns settings are the automatically find option.I have renewed ips and dumped the dns cache.Using alternate dns addresses doesn't rectify the problem. When I attempt to upload via dreamweaver, I connect but within seconds I get a Dreamweaver message that says "Connection to remote host has been lost. Click refresh to continue" and the log reads "FTP Error. Dreamweaver could not connect to server." I haven't taken my desktop anywhere to try to see if it works on a different network. I'm in a remote location (hence the satellite internet)and it is an hours drive to the nearest private internet connection and a 2 hour drive to the nearest public connection.
We have a Linksys WRT120N wireless router set up at one of our small offices. I noticed recently when trying to log in to the router to make some admin configurations that it will not accept the login credentials when trying to log in from IE10 browser. Works fine from Chrome, IE9, ect. logging in to a linksys router with IE10?

Which seems to mean that SSH does not work, which is false as I manually connects to the device from the LMS host successfully. Network devices access is authenticated against ACS servers using TACACS+ so there should be no problem with credential discrepency here.
We are using ACS v5.2.0.26.3 in 802.1X certificate based authentication. Now, when we added CRL functionality into ACS it fails in CRL validation and gives following error message:

We have installed root, device and server certificates from CA, but for management we are still using self-signed certificate.
Question is, which certificate is used when validating downloaded CRL file - one used for EAP-TLS or one used for management interface?

I dont understadn how this works but basically I have enabled dhcp or so I thought bu clients dont get a lease. The vlan does but clients connecting to the switchports attached to the vlan do not get a lease and cant connect to anything. If I static the ip or use my server to issue dhcp then it's fine still some issues since I am cluceless but I dont understand what I have to do to get dhcp to work on the fa0-3 ports.

I have a 3845 that will not let me ping to the internet from my PC.On interface g0/0 I have a connection to a internet connection (another router), using DHCP to get it's address (it gives g0/0 IP 192.168.0.3).On interface g0/1, I have a connection to my LAN (I assign the interface IP 10.10.1.1).
I can ping the router. The router can ping the internet, do DNS resolution, etc.I have ensured routing is enabled. The only route I have configured is a default static route: 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1.Oddly, if I choose 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 g0/0, I cannot ping sites on the internet from the router.
I tried setting up ip nat inside for my LAN and ip nat outside for the WAN/internet uplink, but this did not work.
This was the issue, I missed finishing the NAT setup.I can make the router ping out all day, and have my PCs ping the router, but getting the connection between the two is not working.

We've got a central office (actually quite small) where several IPSec connections connect to. Two of these connections are Cisco 881 routers. One of them works fine, the other craps out after 24 hours (coincidentally also the IKE key lifetime). When I mean "craps out", it means the VPN worked fine from the get go, until 24 hours later. Only a reload will bring back the VPN tunnel. I've verified my PFS and DPD configurations are solid, because these kind of symptoms would most likely occur when these configurations aren't in order.
The two 881 configurations are quite similar. The only differences between the two are some details in the PPPoE configurations and (quite obviously) the IP address space for the two sites. Both operate on the premise of a point to point connection (no multipoint stuff going on here).

I am trying to join my ACS 5.1 to my AD. In the External Identity Stores > Active Directory I have put in the AD administrator details and hit the test button and the test succeeds.
However, when I try to save changes it fails with an eror saying it can't connect to the LDAP server.

I have done this lots of times and never had any issue once the test connection succeeds.
I've checked the time and timezones on both ACS and AD and they are the same.
Using CCP installed Easy VPN after setup completed ran the test and it failed see below; What commands can I enter to check this? New at VPN so I am sure I have something miss configured.

I configured WiFi connection on Windows XP and Windows 7 with EAP-TLS (using Cisco WLC 7.0.235.3 and Cisco ACS 5.2.0.26.10). It is configured with computer authentication and computers certificates are autoenrolled from Microsoft PKI.It works well!
Now I configured Windows 8 with same configuration.First authentication works but if I manually disconnect and reconnect, I got this error on ACS: 22047 Principal username attribute is missing in client certificate.In EAP packets, we could see that Windows 8 sent a TLS session ticket but session was not resumed correctly by ACS..On ACS configuration, we checked this option "Enable EAP-TLS Session Resume" with session timeout "7200".
Bought a used 2950 for CCNA labs. I have no IOS and cannot get a successful transfer via xmodem. In ROMmon after the transfer completes text shows up as gibberish, commands seem to work. Text is normal after I reconnect. Dir flash: doesn't show any sys image, only a -rwx file. I have tried various IOS versions. This was purchased used, so it's possible it isn't working. This is my first time configuring a switch, I might have missed something simple.

When the machine name password changes between the PC and the AD server the ACS will error out with "24485 Machine authentication against Active Directory has failed because of wrong password".TAC has been working with us on this and sees the error in the logs but does not have an answer on with to do to solve this. It has the same problem with Wireless Zero. Once the PC is rebooted the error goes away for 30 days. We are in a hospital setting so this is a not just a minor problem

The switches are identical,but one is inventoried successfully and the other always fails.Both have verified their credentials. The 4506e failing inventory is the only device not being inventoried.I looked at other post and increased snmp timeout with no effect.

This identical configuration operates correctly on a Cisco 3825 and a Catalyst 4506. On the 24 port Cat 3560G PoE running 12.2SE (do not recall exact IOS version, but I know it is in that release train) that I am currently working on, every attempt to login via ssh passes authentication but fails authorization, displaying %Authorization Failed on the terminal and a message stating that "No appropriate privilege level found for user" in the debug statement from RADIUS.I have verified correct server addresses, correct source-interfaces, and that configs between the three devices match exactly with regards to aaa.
We are running an instance of LMS4.0.1 on a Windows 2008 Server installation that is managing circa 2k devices. A couple of weeks ago we run into disk usage problems as a result of log files not being rotated properly - this issue has been fully resolved.
Since then, we have been unable to restart our DCRServer and this is becoming a real issue for us.

Is there a way to trigger stateful (or stateless) failover on ASA 55xx (8.0.3) when there's a failure on the IPS unit? I understand the fail open/fail close and its application on a single firewall, but the better solution for an IPS failure in a redundant pair would seem to be a stateful failover to the other ASA, and I don't see that as a documented feature.

I have a Cisco ASA 5510 with a strange issue. When I power it ON, the following is the status of the front panel LED:
Power is OFF
Status is Amber
Active is Amber
VPN is Green
Flash is OFF
Also nothing comes up on the console. I suspected a Power supply issue and replaced it, but still it doesn't seem to work.I cant open up a TAC as I do not have a Smart Net contract.
I having an issue with WCS and the new code 7.4 on my WiSM2 blade. When I try to refresh configuration from/to controller it fails. I just upgraded from 7.01 and it worked before the upgrade.
Is this not supported?
I am able to change configuration from WCS to the WiSM2 and it works fine just cant copy config.
