Cisco Switching/Routing :: 3750v2 - Dead After Upgrade

In a lab environment, I have a stack of two 3750v2-48ts switches. I upgraded the stack from 15.0(1)SE2 to 15.0(1)SE3 using archive download-sw.
Switch 1 in the stack reloaded and came back with the new image.
Switch 2 appears to be dead. No console out put. When power is applied, the SYST LED blinks 22 times, then stops. I've held in the mode button for up to 60 seconds, held in mode while applying power, removed the stack cables and repeated...there's not a whole lot else I can think of to do at this point.

I would like to confirm if Cisco 3750 and 3750v2 can work in a stack? My Cisco 3750 is working on 12.2(37)se while 3750v2 is working on 12.2(50r)se.
I tried to configure the above on a same stack but seem to have compatibility issue and fail to work.

I've been reading the documentation for the new 3750v2 switch, and I'm wondering is the IPBase license supports FULL OSPF. The product sheet notes that it supports OSPF in the IPBase license, but then further down the page it notes that for advanced routing functions (EIGRP,OSPF) you need the IPServices license. Are there any limitations to the OSPF process on a 3750v2 with the IPBase license?

My old switch software version is c3750-ipbase-mz.122-35.SE5 and model number is WS-C3750-48TS-S and my new switch Software version is c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE5.bin and model number is WS-C3750V2 . I want a compatible (prefer same) version of IOS which works on both the switches as both the switch will be in a stack..

I recently installed DHCP snooping on a 3750v2 switch (Version 12.2(55)SE4) and configured the uplink(Po2) as a trusted port. The problem is that clients cannot receive an IP address. When I disable DHCP snooping it is working properly. DHCP snooping is configured correctly but I don't have an idea how to resolve it. [code]I tested the solution on the same kind of hardware switch and firmware and it worked out fine. What is causing the clients not to receive an IP address from the DHCP server?

A new Cisco 3750V2 (WS-C3750V2-48PS-S) running IOS 'c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-50.SE5.bin' waspurchased to add to a stack of 3 Cisco 3750 (WS- C3750- 48PS-S) switches. The IOS on the stacked switches is 'c3750-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEB4.bin'.I loaded this IOS on to the new Cisco 3750V2 and deleted its original IOS. Boot up failed with error 'hardware not supported by firmware'. I am now trying to follow the recovery procedure but the I can only initialise the flash (flash_init) and there is no 'boot_helper' command to load the boot helper files. There is no option to rum 'copy xmodem' so I cannot upload the original IOS image via xmodem on hyperterminal.

I had an old Cisco Catalyst 2948G switch that I have not used in about 7 years down in my basement. I powered it on and went through the process of clearing out the configurations, and I got to a point where one of the commands to clear out the config asked me to install jumpers for "ROM" and "ERASE". There is a third jumper labeled "NO BOOT". They are numbered J6, J7, & J8 respectivelyI found the jumpers inside and put the jumpers on them and ran the command expecting it to remove any old configurations I had on the switch and bring it back to factory state, but I was wrong.

This switch runs CatOS, not IOS.When power is applied to the switch, the fans turn on as normal, but no LEDs are lit on the front. There are green LEDs lit next to the jumpers inside, but that is all. I work at a hospital and we have 3750X-48P switches in stacks in various locations throughout the hospital. We have noticed that when an EKG machine is plugged into one of the ports on some of these switches and the EKG machines are set manually to 100/Full, the ports are no longer usable until the switch is restarted. The switch is configured for auto. If the EKG machine is set to auto, it will work and not cause problems. The link on the interface will show up/up and there will be output packets increasing. However, there will be no inputs on the link and the port is unusable. Unfortunately, even when the device is removed, the port becomes unusable for any device. Is there any way to fix this problem without rebooting the switch?

I upgraded my E2500 with the last version of firmware but now is dead. the power led is turn on, but the ping are discontinued. the other problem is that after 10/15 sec, the router will restart automatically. i try with tftp but after the reset of router does not change anything.

So let me start by saying that i'm stupid, as i did not 1st read the manual properly and thus upgraded my camera WIRELESS.. (when manual clearly states by cable ONLY).
Camera is now DEAD. Only red led light is flashing.
Hardreboot not working (pushing reset, then switching on camera & hold reset for 30 secs)
Is there anything else that i can do myself or is this gonna be a repair job?

I have 2 - WS-C2960-24TT-L switches. Both are experiencing the same issue. Upon booting them up, all lights flash on the mode indicator panel, then it goes directly to a solid green "SYST" light. Nothing registers across the console cable. I have tried different baud rates, cables and computers. None of the ports come up regardless of how long either switch is powered on. Holding the Mode button during boot up produces the same result, nothing. Sounds like they are dead, however, I thought this would be the place to go for ideas. Can I revive these switches?

We would like to install a WS-SVC-WISM2-1-K9 in each of our 2 WS-C6509-E chassis. Both of these have supervisor 720 engines installed. One in each chassis.From what I have read we need to upgrade the IOS to 12.2.33 SXJ4. Is this correct?If this is true then what are the memory requirements for the upgrade to this IOS version. i'm trying to find information about the licesing of ios package. I need to upgrade a C2911 from 15.1 to 15.2, the router have a permanent uc license, will be that license permanent also after the upgrade? I'm not able to find documentation about when the license need to be reissued after an upgrade or not. I know that for maintenance release upgrade there are not problems but i'm not sure about minor upgrade.

I need to upgrade the IOS and an wondering why the download center is pointing me at C3560 images. I downloaded c3560e-ipbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin and it failed and was stuck in a loop booting and resetting over and over.

I am currently running 12.2 (53) and am looking to move up to the 15+ train. Are there any pre-reqs prior to the upgrade that any one is aware of?Unfortunately I have no "lab environment" to test it in. I have production switches with minimal impact to the campus and if done late night I could have it restored back before open of business the following morning. My FW is up to the latest version and I have found nothing in the release notes specifically stating that there would require any stepped upgrades up to v15 and higher.

I have a 3560, which is being used as our core router that I have recently installed. It still has the standard IOS which came with (C3560E-UNIVERSALK9-M) it but I need to implement policy based routing so need to upgrade it and have downloaded c3560-ipservicesk9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin and indeally would like to install it in the morning before people start work.
I have 2 questions, 1, Is the ipservices capable of PBR as I have been reading conflicting reports, in fact my friend who works for Cisco has advised that it is not possible on the 3560.
2, When I do upgrade will there be any current configurations that are not compatible with the new one, I wouldnt image that there would be any but just wanted to make sure as it would be the biggest headache ever if it went wrong.

I have a couple of 3750G-24T-E switches running IOS 12.2 I would like to upgrade to IOS 15.x. Is this possible? Where do I find some information on the required licenses and costs? Tonight we were performing an IOS upgrade on our 6509 VSS to 122-33.SXI6. Both 6509's have dual Supervisor cards installed. Initially we had problems with switch 2 slot 5 supervisor returning to rommon however switch 2 slot 6 supervisor loaded correctly. After manually setting the boot var in rommon, switch 2 slot 5 supervisor reloaded correctly.
After all supervisor's were online we noticed when looking at " show switch virtual redundancy" that sw 1 & 2 slot 6 supervisors were running the correct IOS version but sw 1 & 2 slot 5 were running different IOS versions, however when looking at the show version we are running on the upgraded IOS??? See output below...
Why the active supervisor has loaded the incorrect IOS the VSS is running on the upgraded IOS? I have verified the IOS was copied correctly to each supervisor bootdisk, I see no issues.

I am using using an old 2900XL switch which has IOS V 11 which I tried to update to IOS 12.05. I followed a cisco procedure which instructed me delete the current OS file and then upload the new one with TFTP server.
I managed to delete the file however seconds after the deletion we had a power cut so now the switch is without an OS and all of the commands that I could need to continure the IOS upgrade are not available.What can I do to update my switch now?

I have a situation where I have a 3750-X stack bought with the 350w power supplies. A "show Inv" lists model as "WS-C3750X-48T-L". I now need to suport POE in that space. Is it possible to add in a 1100W power supply and have the switch support POE or is the chassis different and cannot support POE, no matter what PS is installed?
