I am trying to get anyconnect 3.0.07059 to run start before logon on windows 7 connecting to an ASA5540 running firmware 8.2.
The anyconnect starts fine, but will not connect. If I login to the laptop then run the anyconnect , same setup it connects fine.
A customer of my have a ASA5510 and want to use de Cisco VPN Client with the opties start before logon but I can find that option in the client. The computer is running on Windows 7. Does the option is still there or on with operating systems it is supported?
Also I tryed to configure it with the AnyConnect client but I can found how I simple need to configure it. I have installed on my computer the AnyConnect Client and the AnyConnect GINA but I don't seen also the option.
i currently have a ASA5540 with 250 SSL VPN Premium licenses and looking to purchase another 500 licenes on top of what i already have.I have been told that i cant simply add 500 licenses onto the 250 to make 750 in total and that i need to purchase a 250-500 licenses or 250-1K licenses. Is this correct? I ask this because on the cisco website, that there is L-ASA-SSL-250-500= & L-ASA-SSL-500-750= part numbers?

If I'm reading the documentation correctly, it seems that when you activate split tunnelling, it allow LAN access, but will also allow the user to access the Internet over the LAN instead of over the VPN.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWe have a network of approximately 20 computers, network printers, and one Windows 2003 Server (used simply as a file server). I have an issue with two specific Windows 7 Pro workstations that just will not logon. The username and password details we're using are correct, but the server rejects them. I can logon using the same account from any other Windows 7 Pro workstation, or Windows XP station, so I know the issue is specific to the two workstations communicating with the server.
Both afftected stations show Logon attempted by: MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_1_0 error 0xC000006A which all searches on Google point towards incorrect login credentials, however I've tried plenty of perfectly valid login credentials and they don't work either.I've tried checking that the 128bit option on the Windows 7 machines is disabled in file sharing etc.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI connect to my corporate network using Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. Once connected I can no longer print to my LAN attached printer and other local resources. I use the Cisco/Lyncsys E4200 router on my LAN and can re-connect to the storage on the local LAN by setting up Port Forwarding of port 21 and MS Windows FTP folder sharing. However, I can't seem to connect to a Terminal Services client by forwarding port 3389. Is there a way to connect to the local LAN after logging into the VPN connection. I can connect to regular HTTP/HTTPS sites and most other type of connectiins, just not my own local resources.

There is no problem with users who are using 3.5.1 and 5.0(64 bit), but 4.8 and 5.0 (32 bit) vpn clients can not add ARP entry to Windows machines ARP table. If i add ARP entry for x.x.x.255 on VPN interface, they can work.
I have a Toshiba Equium A200,(from new some time back) however, i have had it updated with new 500mb drive etc! I also some time back installed Windows 7 home. At first all was well, then a few months ago i noticed (upon star-up) that the network adapter was not connecting to my Belkin router? The Network & sharing centre tells me that it is connected, although the icon on the bottom toolbar shows a yellow triangle & reads No Internet connection? Since they installed the machine won't connect to the network shares. It can access the internet easily enough. The Workstation Service won't start. It comes up with an error 1068: The dependancy service or group failed to start. I used System restore to go back before the updates and everything worked again. Installed the updates and the problem re-appears. I have 2 wireless network adaptors so I disabled one.

I am facing problem connecting via vpn to my asa5510 using anyconnect.My anyconnect client shows "network access: unavailable - no networks detected" before i attempt to establish my vpn.Upon establishing vpn, i was prompted username and password which went through but i was given the error "anyconnect was not able to establish a connection to the specified secure gateway. Please try connecting again".I face this problem after replacing my pc. I was able to connect without problems on my previous pc.The vpn connection uses cert which i have already import to my new pc and authentication is fine since no authentication error. No changes made on my firewall.

We have some remote support software which the helpdesk use to connect to PC's remotley and torubleshoot.
I cannot connect to this software using the assigned IP address of the client even though it works fine with our old Nortel VPN.
If I hit the IP address the packet gets all the way to the ASA and seems to disappear.
I have setup an IP v4 access list on the connection profile which allows any/any access b ut still no joy.
I'm on a Mac connecting to a Cisco ASA 5510 with AnyConnect VPN client.
The connection is established and it works for 15-30 seconds, then the connection drops. AnyConnect will reconnect, and then it works fine.
I noticed in the logs that it reconnects with a smaller packet size.
My users are using AnyConnect to make a remote access VPN connections to the corporate office thru an ASA5520. At this time, VPN users have very limited privileges because we allow users to connect using their home computers and RSA tokens.
I need to find a way to determine whether an AnyConnect client is connecting from a company-owned/maintained/patched laptop or some other device. I would like to give full network access to the company laptops while continuing to restrict access to the home machines. So far, the only idea I have is to use DHCP and associate the MAC addresses of the company laptops with addresses is a privielged subnet range.
I have ASA 5520 running ver 8.3.(2)8 and configured for AnyConnect VPN. While testing for iPads and iPhones we noticed that on connecting it disconnects few times before finally connecting. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having problems with a customer's ASA 5505 with Anyconnect 3.1 - it is generating captive portal false-alerts which are stopping users from connecting. This issue began when I upgraded from Anyconnect 2.4 to 3.1, and it appears like this: A user downloads and installs the Anyconnect client and is able to connect fine, to begin with. However, once they reboot their computer and try to reconnect, the VPN session will not come up and they receive the error message below."The service provider in your current location is restricting access to the internet. You need to log on with the service provider before you can establish a VPN session. You can try this by visiting any website with your browser."
Reading other posts, it seems this message appears when a captive portal is restricting internet access. It must be a false alert in this case as there is nothing of the sort here. Apparently, Anyconnect 3.1 can generate a false alert like so if the name of the firewall's SSL certificate doesn't match the CName listed on the Client Profile. I've set this up to match, to no avail. Although users can connect by reauthenticating through the SSL VPN login web page, I am stumped as to how to get rid of this captive portal error that pops up when they try to use the Anyconnect client.
Does the windows mobile OS 6.5 has its own Cisco AnyConnect VPN package?

We have not seen this on any of the Windows 7 laptops nor Windows XP.
The URL have been added to the trusted zones.We have gone as far to disable anti-virus / windows firewallDisabled the "Protected mode" with in internet explorer.

I have a Cisco AnyConnect 2.5.2006 failing installation on an upgrade from 2.4.1012. Win7 64-bit.RunOnce exists in the registry and I even added everyone/full perms to it to make sure it wasn't a perms issue. (it seems everyone recommends checking this key exists)I've cleaned the system and the registry multiple time for anything AnyConnect related. I've got my AnyConnect setup to get an IP from our Windows DHCP server just fine. It grabs the IP, mask, and DNS just fine. But I can't ping any of the lan devices or do any DNS lookups. I need it to work this way since we have a ton of site-to-site's with remote offices and getting them all to adjust their firewalls to allow another subnet is a nightmare.
I have split-tunneling enabled. I'm sure it's a nonat command that I'm missing, but not sure what.
Before connecting to VPN:

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe loopback of the ASR1002 is 2.2.2.2. When I use a browser to access it, I got the authentication dialog box asking for username/password. I input the information and submit. But authentication box comes back again and ask for the username/password.
The username/password is test okay. But somehow, the web GUI just does not use it.
I cannot logon with adsm anymore.when I run adsm, I type in my pw, and the screen keeps displaying "contacting the device". No timeout, just stays this way.I've updated the java version, no luck.I can connect with SSH with no problem. device = asa5550, 8.2(1) asdm 6.2(1) [code]

Rebooting the device is not really an option.
I'm running a VB Script from the logon script to add printers when users log on.The Colour printer is added no problem but the black and white printer was working but now wont.The print share names are correct and the server name is correct.
