May 14, 2012I have a cisco 1750 router running IOS 12.1.3.xt2. How can I stop bittorrent traffic?
I use E0 connected to a cable modem.

Sep 25, 2010I have setup a new SFE2000 switch to work in Layer 3 mode using the IP address 192.168.100.254 on VLAN 1.I would like VLAN1, 2, 3 and 4 to be able to communicate with each other while VLAN2 (Guest) needs to be restricted from everything except web access and dhcp assignment from our server.I have been playing with various ACL's in an effort to accomplish this but so far I have drawn a blank in getting this working.

Apr 19, 2011i share internet with my neighbor (we split the bill) and every so often like in the last 2 days, and usually not again for another 3 weeks for 2-3 more more days each time, am not able to browse(ff, chrome, ie) or use windows live messenger, but yet if i turn on bittorrent, the downloads are fine, the trackers don't update, but DHT and peer exchange update fine.And also, i can get on Gameranger (which uses UDP port 16000) and play games, and this happens to all 5 computers on the network, (4 wireless at my house[3 XPs 1 Win7] and one wired at her house[Win 7]), so it's not something on the computer, also, usually when i check my router the subnet is usually 255.255.255.0 but this morning before i came to work i noticed it was 255.0.0.0 , not sure if that matters, this has been happening for months, usually between every 3-4 weeks, we have no browser and msn use for 2-3 days?

Feb 7, 2013I recently downloaded Deluge and while I can download torrents without a problem, I always have the "NO INCOMING CONNECTIONS' warning. I've tried single port forwarding, port range forwarding, turning UPnP off and on ... in short I've tried a lot of stuff and the only thing that clears the message is to remove the router out of the equation. The message disappears as soon as I connect the pc directly to the modem.

I have upgraded to the latest firmware which solved lots of problems regarding unstable wifi connection as well as BitTorrent / P2P transfers.But I also observed that when my BT is on (Transmission for Mac) at around 50KB/s upload and download, my network latency hikes up from some 30ms to 500ms which affects a lot on web browsing or other apps requiring Internet.My BitTorrent app is showing I am merely making some 20 peers connection so I am not convinced that is an ISP problem but it's more about the router.

Dell :: Bluetooth Not Visible With Inspiron 1750
Feb 6, 2012having recently installed the correct bluetooth module inside our dell insprin1750, all the drivers loaded fine and it said all installed ok, I can see all items in the control panel/hardware list as all ok... not highlighted or anything so assume its all ok. When I click on the bluetooth icon down on the bottom is pops up and says bluetooth is working but not visable to other devices click here to change... which I do, then the problem.... nothing happens after that !
I am unable to add any devices to bluetooth list despite it saying its working ok in hardware properties etc.
My last resort is to restore pc to factory state via re-install of windows 7 but I do not really want to go down this route if at all possible.... I have tried restore to no avail.

Dec 28, 2012This afternoon, I plugged in a Belkin bluetooth adapter F8TO16 and paired it with a pair of 7dayshop headphones. Instead of leaving well alone with an old driver, I decided to update the Belkin driver - which went well. However, the Dell 365 Module then reported an error and trouble shooting informed me that it now had a driver error. Windows searched for and found a driver, but could not install it.. I've since downloaded and installed new Dell drivers for it but I still get the same result - can't install driver. (The module was working fine before I up-dated the Belkin driver.)
I figure I now have to un-install the Module and then install an up-dated version. Is this the right way to go and if it is, how do I go about it? I'm using Win7 64 bit on an Inspiron 1750.

As natively the ASA5550 is only capable of p2p inspection if the traffic is tunneled via port 80 is the AIP-SSM the way forward? We have 2 5550s in active/active failover config. As a side note we are also looking to implement an IDS/IPS system so could this module cover all?Is this module going to provide the desired outcome or is there another module/device out there better suited for this? I would prefer to use the ASA5550s as opposed to implementing another product if only that we can make use of the investment we already made on these devices.

I want to allow trafic from dmz to reach internal lan, and i want normally also allow stmp relay from dmz to reach Internet.
How can i block trafic from DMZ to reach Internal Lan (instead of smtp) if the to allow trafic from dmz to internet i must put ANY in the policy?
For allowing trafic from DMZ to reach Internet, the policy must be DMZ -----> ANY ----->Services., this policy means DMZ can implicity reach Internal Lan?
