How do I access the router's web gui management? I already enabled the ip http server and ip https commands. I have a username and password configured
 
I open a browser session with the ip address:URL, But I do not get the management GUI.  I haven't used the GUI in many years,

Cisco Infrastructure :: 1921 - Set Up Router To Provide Internet Access To Local Network

I've been trying to set up my new Cisco 1921 Router to provide internet access to my local network but with no success. I've been reading guides and looking at videos and I have to be missing something becaouse I can't access internet (ping/tracert) from my local network.
 
The DHCP server works fine and the clients on my local network gets ip-adresses from the router but can't ping or tracert outside the local network.

I just found a slightly unsettling bug in the E4200v2 (running the latest firmware 2.0.36 build 126507).Administration > Local Management Access > Access via Wireless ... set to DISABLED. HOWEVER, when I attempted to access the web interface on a handy iPAD I had absolutely no problem getting through to the web interface (after providing username and passsword).Limiting access to wired clients seems like a simple a prudent measure ... which is why this option is there for the paranoid among us.This seems like a black-and-white bug.

Linksys Wireless Router :: Can't Access WRT610n Setup / Management Pages Wirelessly

I cannot access the WRT610n setup/management pages wirelessly from my Macbook using safari.  I can access the router via wireless from iPhone and PC and I can access it from the Macbook via ethernet cable.  
 
When I try to access the router from the Macbook I just get "Contacting..." in the  Safari status line and eventually it times out.
 
I can access the internet using Safari via WRT610n wireless.  The only page I can't access is the router's management page.

I am using an E2500 as an access point, which is working fine. I have an Ethernet cable on one of the LAN ports of the E2500 connected to a LAN port on my gateway router. The LAN address of the E2500 is 192.168.7.3 and the LAN address of the gateway router is 192.168.7.1. Clients on the E2500 wireless network have no problems getting to the Internet through the gateway router. Clients on the E2500 wireless network can reach the E2500 local management port at 192.168.7.3 on port 80. On the gateway router I am forwarding WAN port 8083 to LAN address 192.168.7.3 at port 80. But I cannot access the E2500 local management interface via the gateway router. The E2500 should see the request as from 192.168.3.1 due to NAT in the gateway router, right? I can reach any of my actual access points this way, just not a router being used as an access point. Security/design limitation of the router?

Im asking above question because we will need to enable ip-sla  on  the mentioned router.   as i read on the cisco webside, it says Cisco-ISR-1921/K9-IP Base  support only  IP-SLA RESPONDER  feature nothing else. If  Cisco-921/K9  does not support the above commands , should i go for ordering Cisco-1921-SEC/K9 ?

ASA 5520 to get it to authenticate VPN users against and Active Directory environment plus allow management access as well. I created a Dynamic Access Policy on the ASA stating that if you are a member of the Active Directory group "Managment" the continue. I chagned the DefaultAccessPolicy to "Terminate". So with that, VPN users cannot connect because they are not a member of that group, but the access to manage the ASA is allowed because of that policy.Is there a way through using Dynamic Access Policies that I can allow management access (SSH, ASDM, etc) by matching to a group membership and will allow normal users to VPN in successfully but not allow them access to managing the ASA?

Cisco WAN :: Cannot Access DNS / Internet From 1921

I have been playing around with a 1921/K9 router in our dev environment. It's been about 24 hours and I just can't seem to get it to work. My DHCP Server is working hence my internal network is getting IP address as desired. But Router doesn't seem to connect to internet for some reason.
 
I am trying to make it a internet facing router with static IP address (67.210.209.113). LAN side of this router will be our .11 Network which is our Dev Network.
 
Here is some network information:
 
WAN:
Interface IP: 67.210.111.111
Default Gateway: 67.210.111.222 (I can ping this address through router)
tlm1921A-11A#ping 67.210.111.222

I have to open several ports from the WAN to LAN on a 1921:
 
For example:
 
Say I need port 41795 both UDP and TCP to go from the WAN to the LAN, can some provide me the context I have to follow?

Another piece of this is that the devices that will need to be accessed remotely are on VLAN10 - will that cause a problem?
 
is installed at a clients home for a very complex Crestron network that included 5 Cisco POE GB switches, 2 VLANS, with VLAN10 utilizing QOS and is the AV network (VLAN1 is the computer network), 8 1142 WAP's, and this 1921.

Cisco VPN :: 1921 - Internet Access Via VPN Client Tunnel

we use the Cisco VPN-Client to connect to our CISCO1921 Router and want to go out again on the same interface to the internet. We configured the connection with the IOS scurity package, have no split tunneling - so the client is forced with it's default gateway to our router - we also have pushed our local dns-server to the client and he gets dns results. Now I think we have to got out with some kind of NAT, because our client has a private IP from the IPSec Client pool. At the moment we have no NAT inside/outside, bacause we only use official IP addres in- and ouside (data-room usage).
 
- Is it possible to get the NAT function going in and out on the same interface with crypto_map IPSec user comming in and going out to the internet ?
- Is it more secure to configure this with vrf ?
- Has some a link to example configurations for this ?

i cant resolve one problem in may 1921 isr router, i have a web server in my internal lan , i set up static nat for accessing that web server from outside and it woks fine but i cannot view that site from internal workstations can you suggest me what to do. as i know when request gets to router it performs static nat and sends packet to the web server, but the server responds with its private source  address instead the public address  witch workstation expects and connection cannot established.

Cisco VPN :: 1921 - VPDN Connects But Unable To Access Any Resources

I have VPDN running on our Cisco 1921 router running 15.2(1)T. Previously I was using Cisco 2801 router running 12.4(24)T4. I copied the config from the 2801 to the new 1921 router before replacing the router but now the VPDN isn't working.
 
Basically the users can connect and authenticate to the VPDN, but once they get the IP 192.168.12.10-20 IP, they can't access the internal servers (i.e. 192.168.12.120).
  
Is there any bug in the 15.2(1)T relating to VPDN?

I have a remote ASA5505 running 8.4(3) with a working site 2 site VPN tunnel to my main office. (The main office is running an ASA 5510 with OS 8.4.3 as well). The encryption domain is all private IP on main site vs. 172.16.10.0/23 on remote site.
 
Relevant config of the remote ASA:
 
interface Vlan1
nameif inside
security-level 100

I can manage the ASA on the outside interface (outside of the site 2 site VPN) using the TACACS credentials I can also ping my management station from the ASA using the inside interface, but as stated, the other way around does not work. I have not yet tested if management from the local 172.16.10.0/23 subnet works, but I will try this next.

I have my wlc 4400 configured with a secure wlan and a guest wlan.  The guest wlan is switching traffic at the wlc to a separate guest-wlan interface.  When a guest is associated and authenticated, they can access the management console of the wlc which is in a different subnet.  As I understand, the wlc does not route traffic.  So how could this be happening?  the guest subnet and the subnet the wlc management interface is in are different and separated by a firewall.  I have also tried applying access lists in the wlc to each interface without luck.  How can i stop the wlc from providing access to guest wlan users?

I just managed to get hold of an old second hand WAP4410N from a friend who got it for work but never really had the time to get it working. I powered it up and performed a 30/30/30 reset to get rid of anything he may have done to it but now I'm struggling to get to the management page. The power light is steady and the ethernet light shows activity but I can't seem to find it on any IPs. I've tried both hooking it into a router and setting up a laptop with an IP of 192.168.1.2,  subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.168.1.245 and I still have no luck. I'll fiddle with it more tomorrow but it'll probably just involve messing around with more settings and resetting it again, nothing of any real structure. Is there any way of forcing a new firmware onto it over the MAC address or something, for example?

After I've upgraded software to the v7.3 and applied AP-SSO it made imposible to access the controller's gui via Service-port. So we tried to access it by management-port, but there is some problem too. It is not working from another subnets. But default gateway on management vlan is set correctly and I even tried to turn of all acl's on switch. WLC is only accessible from the same network. But at the same time wlc is replying on ping fine.All other protocols cannot connect to the controller.

We've got pairs of ACE30s in our data centers set up with active/standby FT.  Some time yesterday the active ACE in one data center started refusing management traffic - it accepts SSH connections but fails authentication (local password, no RADIUS/TACACS is configured); and ANM reports it as down (no XML connectivity),We haven't opened a TAC case yet - someone's on his way over to see whether we can get in through the serial port first - but I'm wondering whether there are any other diagnostics we can gather (will resetting the module form the Sup force a coredump?) before we do.

I have an HA ACE deployment and all seemed to be working well until I tried to access the ACE via the management VLAN in the one non-system context, no go.The ACE is in one-armed mode with an Admin/System context and one user context (named Messaging).  Source NAT has been set up in the user context.  All VLANs are in a port channel back to the core switches.I can access the ACE via the Management VLAN in the system context, all OK.  I can access the load-balanced servers via the VIP in the user/Messaging context, all OK.  I CANNOT acccess the managment VLAN other than ping it (resonds to ping, but telnet, ssh, https, etc. fails).The system/Admin context has a default route to the Management VLAN on the core.  The User/Messaging context has a default route to the core switches on VLAN 5, which is the VLAN where the VIP resides.If I change the default route in the User/Messaging context to the Management interface on the core switches then I can access both contexts for management, but then the load-balancing falls over and I cannot access the serverfarm (via the VIP).  Traces on the rservers show that NAT is being hit on the ACE and the requests are coming from the real IP of the clients.  Put the default route back to the User/Messaging VLAN on the core and NAT is back to what it would be expected to be, and then remote/management access to the ACE is gone.

We've got a SG200-18 switch that is to be used as a workgroup switch in our environment (SW Version 1.1.1.8). Working with CLI on big and mid-range Cisco-gear over the past two decades I'm having a hard time figuring out the following on the SG200:
 
o) I want to change the Management-VLAN from the default "1" to the management-VLAN used in our environment. Sure enough I created that vlan in the SG200-config, however when it comes to assigning the management-IP and VLAN for the management interface in the corresponding pulldown under "IPv4 interface -> Management VLAN" the only thing selectable is the default "1". (see screenshots enclosed)So how do I set a management VLAN different from 1?
 
o) How do I enable telnet/ssh-access to the SG200-18 - I'd be far more comfortable with a CLI-environment?

I have a need to manage the 5505 outside of the 2 interfaces however I see it documented that Management access is only via the data path interface. This won't work for me because there will be NO management access on the data network being bridged through the firewall. Is there any option outside of going to routed mode or moving to the 5510?
