I used mixed mesh 1510 and 1520. WLC version is 4.1.192.35M (Mesh).During 2year WLC is no problem. But, recently WLC's current client error.Normally user is 20. But, these day, user is 2500 and normal client is not assoiate.2500 user's status is probing and WLAN profile is unknown. probing client is not automatically disappear.We are locate isolated area. So, wireless user is a few. But, wired user is very many.after WLC reboot, status is OK.

tying to connect CSM client to CSM server (ver 4.0) and getting attached error message. The server is running, no errors reported while installation, all services are up and fine. I tried to install client locally on the server and connect it that way with no luck. CSM server runs on Win 2008, firewall disabled.

Some of my VPN users are getting the following error on Windows 7 64 bit computer. I have uploaded the client to a website. The VPN users are supposed to download and install the client from the web-site. Then they enter the URL to connect to our VPN. This worked fine during the test and only some users are having issues. This seems like Windows issue.
Error “There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personal or package vendor”

We have an ASA 5540 successfully using SSL VPN Client Tunnels with no issues, and have been attempting to build the ability for IPSec Clients to connect as well. I have the authentication working, yet cannot complete the establishment of the tunnel for the client. The client receives an error of "Secure VPn Connection terminated by Peer, Reason 433: (Reason not specified by Peer)". In the log on the client, I see the following when the connection drops:

I get the following error when trying to connect a vpn client through an ASA5505 with an already configured ipsec AES/256 site to site connection:
regular translation creation failed for protocol 50 src:inside:192.168.1.167 dst:outside:xx.xxx.x.64
The site to site addressing is not relevant, I'm not trying to pass traffic over the site-to-site, but rather create a new vpn from inside client to outside external vpn box that's not under my control. The client is able to create a connection, but no traffic is passed, when I try to ping / rdp, the above message is returned to me. If I add the rule static(inside, outside) interface 192.168.1.167 netmask 255.255.255.255 then it works, everything works, but ONLY from this computer.
Been Google for hours, but with no result as of yet.

We have WLC 4402 and LWAP 1510In access control list menu, all needed rule added and the last rule deny any to any We use Ethernet bridging on LWAP and some clients connect with wire network that associated with Ethernet bridge LWAP, Now when deny rule applied the client that connect with wired network couldn't established VPN connection or another service to the routing and remote server, I create rule that permit any to routing and remote server.

We had our wireless mesh network running with 4400 Controller and 1510 A.Ps. Now that we have bought new 5508 Controller (with SW: 7.2) and 3600 Indoor APs, we are unable to add legacy APs on our new controller. After a wild googling I have found that for 1510 APs i need to be on SW ver: 4.0. But that will lead into another situation i-e I wont be able to have my 3600 APs on WLAN Controller.

I've deployed AnyConnect on Windows 7 clients, and they are throwing this message after few days of usage: "The VPN client driver has encountered an error."
-Version: anyconnect-win-2.4.0202-web-deploy-k9
-OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
-FW: ASA 5505
What seems to fix it:
1. Uninstall Any Connect Client then,
2. Remove C:UsersUserAppDataLocalCisco folder

I just bought a Studio 17 (1749). Got it all configured. It is a beauty. It has the DW 1501 Wireless-N WLAN Half-Mini Card.
The computer detects the 2.4 GHZ network seamlessly. It is unable to detect the 5 GHZ network.
I have a NETGEAR RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router.
I have no problems connecting to this router with a Studio 15 laptop that I bought in December 2009. The Studio 15 can detect both the 2.4 and 5 GHZ seamlessly. I also have no problems connecting at 270 MB with a work Lenovo XP laptop with a Netgear Wireless-N USB stick.

Received my new 1510 mini wireless card card today for install in Inspiron 1525 running Vista 32bit.Laptop sees new device but cannot located driver. Run the disk that Dell sent, get message 'No compatible hardware found program will end'
Device manager shows yellow explanation mark under network tab..Have downloaded 6 or 7 different version of the driver but no joy.

When I attempt to export the certificate for the quickvpn client via the router web interface, it looks as if the export works, and it asks me to save the zip file. However, upon opening the zip file I receive the error: The compressed folder is invalid or corrupted.
This happens in multiple browsers, from multiple machines.

it's probably just me but I have tried real hard to get a simple AnyConnect setup working in a lab environment on my ASA 5505 at home, without luck. When I connect with the AnyConnect client I get the error message "User not authorized for AnyConnect Client access, contact your administrator". I have searched for this error and tried some of the few solutions out there, but to no avail. I also updated the ASA from 8.4.4(1) to 9.1(1) and ASDM from 6.4(9) to 7.1(1) but still the same problem.
The setup of the ASA is straight forward, directly connected to the Internet with a 10.0.1.0 / 24 subnet on the inside and an address pool of 10.0.2.0 / 24 to assign to the VPN clients. Please note that due to ISP restrictions, I'm using port 44455 instead of 443. I had AnyConnect working with the SSL portal, but IKEv2 IPsec is giving me a headache. I have stripped down certificate authentication which I had running before just to eliminate this as a potential cause of the issue. When running debugging, I do not get any error messages - the handshake completes successfully and the local authentication works fine as well.

I have a single user with the 2.4.1012 any connect VPN who can not establish his tunnel.We have many other users who can connect to the same tunnel group who do not have this problem so I think it is related to his pc and not to the ASA firewall.
He receives an error indicating there is a problem with the client driver.So far, we have allowed the AnyConnect VPN agent to interact with the desktop via My Computer>Manager>Services and Applications>services menu.
We checked and the Routing and Remote Access service is not enabled on the PC.I even tried having him connect using the program and the command line program and he always receives the same error that the client driver encountered an errors.I got him to run the DART tool.

I have a Cisco 1841 router connected to two different lines (same ISP) and I would like to load balance between them. I think I have achieved this point, but the problem is that remote VPNs do not work (only from Dialer1).This is my diagram:

I have a Pix 515E with a VPN setup. I recently tried to connect Cisco VPN Client and get the following error: "Secure VPN Connection terminated locally by the client. Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer responding" I have previously been able to connect to this VPN using Cisco VPN Client without issue. Below is a copy of my config and VPN Client log & debug logs from Pix. We have Newwave Communications Cable internet, which i just found out the the ISP has recently implemented DOCSIS 3.0. (i'm not sure if that matters).

I installed W8 on my Dell Studio 1735 computer. Wireless Internet access is very very slow. I have not this problem with W7 on the same computer. I tried it with an external Network cable. Very fast, 50mbps. I also tried it with an external USB Belkin wifi adaptor. It works fine. Computer has a Dell Wireless 1500 N WLAN Mini Card. Driver version:5.100.245.20 Date 2012-03-13. I cannot find any better driver.
I have one more problem that I don't have with W7. I cannot rate the computer. The Windows experience index cannot go past the test of Direct3D 10 Texture Load Assesment.

We find ourselves in a difficult situation with the Cisco VPN Client version 5.0.07.0290 where it keeps giving us an
"Error 42: Unable to create certificate enrollment request"
When we attempt to use the Online enrollment method to create and enroll a new certificate. There is no additional information in the VPN client logs where we have set 3-High for all logs. In addition, Wire shark does not show any packets sent from the machine running the client to the Cisco 3825 router which runs the Cisco CA.
To create and enroll a certificate we do the following:
1. Click on the Enroll button to show the Certificate Enrollment dialog
2. Select Online
3. Select <New> for Certificate Authority
4. Enter http://192.168.120.1 as CA URL (note, 192.168.120.1 is the IP of the Cisco 3825)
5. Click Next to display the dialog where we can enter certificate details
6. Enter details in all fields except IP Address and Domain
7. Click Enroll which shows a dialog with the Error 42 ... message in it.
If we attempt to create a request by using the File method, all works fine, that is, the client creates a file with the enrollment request. The fact that the client does not send any messages to the Cisco CA leads us to believe that we have a problem on the client machine. However, the client does not write any information in the logs, so it is a bit hard to fix the problem. I can provide additional configuration information if required for both the client and the Cisco CA. Note that we have not modified any client configuration. Basically, we installed the client on a Windows 7 64bit machine and attempted the steps listed above.

I have a Dell E4300 with a 1510 wireless mini adapter running windows 7 pro with a netgear WNR3500 router running wireless N protocol. I have my laptop setup to sleep when lid is closed. When it awakens the wireless connection will not automatically reconnect and I have to manually select the SSID and connect. It will also reconnect if I use the network troubleshooter. The problem does not happen if I reboot the PC or start from a power off situation. I have the latest Dell driver and I am running the DWLAN utility.

After troubleshooting, I found DHCP service is not running and try to restart but of no avail.I ran sfc /scannow and the results are OK.

slight change in the fact that after looking toward more drivers (newer and older) i have found i did have the 1510, however the rest remains the same. specifically listed in my m17x r1 component list as [code]
I chose to skip upgrading my wireless and got the stock intel centrino 2230 and then use the dell 1510 wireless card from my R1.so the main problem, back when i was on my M17x R1 with the 1510 wireless card and i connected to my router from anywhere in my apartment i rarely ever dropped below 250mbps (around that number, i know there is only specific speeds it will run at but i dont recall exactly) on the 5ghz band. placing the same card into my new system i got at the end of november i rarely get over 150mbps and its often slower or jumping around. now i know 150mbps is a fine connection speed for any internet tasks but the main problem with it isnt the speed but the number of errors. the speed also drops significantly if i move to another room in my apartment, which isnt often but just one wall and then dropping over 100mbps (and only with the new laptop) seems excessive. also using the site monitor causes the errors to jump dramatically.as of this typing my uptime was about 57 minutes and i have a recived packet loss of 380 according to the broadcom wireless utility which came with the dell driver package for the device. now the utility may be wrong and may not mean much of a loss when you look at the other stats shown (packets sent: 36600, packets recieved: 50000, total packet lost %: 0) but it still is making me looking for causes. so what im looking for is what could be causing the problem. i have tried the broadcom/dell driver and the microsoft driver. tried making sure the intel wireless program was removed. tried checking settings in the adaptor. disabling any power saving features on the card. as for things i tried with the router; i changed its channel, rebooted, unplugging for 5 minutes, moving the router to a slightly different spot. now the router says the N speed is up to 450, even on my r1 i never got over 300 which i was fine with and the router didnt change since my r1 dying and my r4 arriving. only things i havnt tried is swapping the antennas (which i dont think would do anything), and a complete reinstall of windows.
Background (only useful if your going to say 'use 2.4ghz band'): now the main reason i did this is because i live in downtown seattle in a somewhat dense apartment building where in the past any attempt at me using my previous laptops to connect to my home router would sometimes randomly disconnect or drop to 1mbps and be unable to load web pages or access anything on the web i wasnt already connected to. this happened on 2 systems i owned, my compal hel80 and my m17x r1 (before upgrading my router to have dual band). trying to figure out why i was having problems i came to the conclusion that using the 2.4ghz band in my area was pretty much pointless, there are over 30 wireless access points within range of my apartment, business and residential, add in other 2.4ghz items (wireless house phones, microwaves, bluetooth from gameconsoles, etc). with all the items in that band it was destroying my usability of a standard connection. this was more noticable as a problem whenever my room mate would get home and turn on his wii which killed my connection instantly. some of it may have been the router we had but at the same time it still happens when i use a laptop on the 2.4ghz band on my new router.

We're running NCS 1.1.0.58. Since updating to this release from the 1.0 release, the 'Autonomous AP Client Status' and 'Lightweight Client Status' background tasks have been failing with message 'java.lang.NullPointerException'. I believe as a result of this that the 'Current Clients' tab on an AP monitoring screen just reports 'No data available'.

I would like to know what is exactly the current throughput of device? How can we calculate if the device is reaching it's throughput?
For example if router 7200VXR has maximum throughput of 520 mbps as per Cisco documents.
How can we measure if the traffic going through the device has reached maximum throughput. Is it the traffic only inbound traffic or the total of invound/outbound on all physical interfaces?

I am thinking of setting up Wake-Up-LAN on my current desktop. The only problem is that I am using a wireless router, and it would be impossible for me to connect it with a cable. Would it be possible for me to use a wireless router? If not, would it be possible for me to use another router, connect it wirelessly to the original router, and connect that one with my desktop?
