Jul 20, 2012I'm having trouble with one of my DCS-930L cameras. I have successfully installed it and it's connected wirelessly to a Dovado router. However, after some 2 weeks the wireless connection drops and I can't connect to the camera anymore. As the camera is 350 km away I can't restart it. This happens everytime and the last time I was around the camera and indeed the camera LED was green. I restarted it by pulling the powercord and after that the camera worked for som 2-3 weeks and then the same problem again.I have 4 cameras, and it's always the same one that drops the connection and the router is only some 5 meters away from the camera. No walls between the router and the camera. I have the ability to restart the router with an sms, but that doesn't make the camera reconnect.

Oct 28, 2012I've not found any topic related to what happened to me. Bought two cameras and upgraded the firmware on both as asked, but one of them just stopped. The light is solid green and not red like other posts.Tried the recovery procedure, but the browser won't find my camera. Changed computer IP and everything else that was told to be done. Nothing works!! I also can't find any posts relaled to my problem all over the internet.

Feb 15, 2012I'm having a strange issue with an 1142 AP. I have a 5508 WLC at my corporate HQ and have AP's in many locations, connected by MPLS WAN. I have one site where the 1142 is blinking green and doesn't associate with the WLC. I have tried a different switch port with the AP (didn't work) and I know that the switch port is good because I have a 1252 that works just fine at this remote location.The really weird part is that the AP is blinking green, but the switch port shows that it is not connected and the green port light on the 3560 switch is not lit. I have verified wiring in the closet, but unfortunately the 1142 AP is hanging 40ft high in a shop and I don't have access to it.Is it possible that there's a bad rj-45 termination that is allowing PoE to the AP, but no data?

Jul 11, 2011I am replacing an old Catalyst 3550 (that has 2 Gig ports) with a 3750 (that has 4)- I used the exact same configuration in the new switch. When I plugged in the new 3750, the trunk ports started blinking from green to amber. I dont know why this is occuring- it SEEMS to be fine, but we havent thrown a whole bunch of traffic over it.

May 28, 2013I'm installing the first out of 10 Aironet AP's with an inline injector. The lights on the Aironet and alernating blue, green, red. I know the error code is for DHCP, but when I plug it in I see the AP on my DHCP server and it does pull an IP address. I can ping the ip address, but I cannot access it through my browser.
I have tried deleting the entry out of the DHCP and power it back on again. I have also tried another unit with the same results. I don't have a RJ-45 to serial cable.

I then updated the DAP-1522 to FW:1.21 from 1.1.
Things looked great. I then moved it upstairs to my home theater.
Plugged it in and got a blinking power light. Completely unresponsive to either linkage or 192.168.0.50.
I have followed everyone advice listed either here or in Amazons reviews. And from my own experience with similar electronics the flashing power LED is indicative of a "brick".
I have initiated a replacement shipment from amazon. Just wanted to see if anyone had seen this before.

I then start fresh. i get all the way to choosing wireless and input the password. It states that there is a problem saving your settings. I tells me nothing more. Jul 5, 2011I bought and hooked up my DCS-930L camera last week. Have since traveled overseas and go to Mydlink website, log-in and then it tries to install a java applet that never does install. It shows the security box where it asks me to run and then it shows another security box with a message: java.io.FileNotFoundException:C:usersmynameAppDataLocalLowSunJavaDeploymentsecurity rusted.certs(Access is denied)
I click ok and the java applet never loads. It just keeps saying Installing Java Applet.

Mar 10, 2012I have a DCS-930 running successfully on my home network. Now I want to set up a DCS-932 on a different network at my mother's house in another city, so I can monitor her house from a distance. Questions:
1. After installing, will I be able to see both cameras at mydlink.com if they are on different networks?
2. Is installation any different because there are 2 networks?
3. Can I use the existing install wizard on the laptop that I used with the 1st installation or should I use my mother's PC?
4. How do I get started since the first instruction is to insert and use the CD that came with the new camera?
Basically I want to know what the install procedure is if I am using a different network but the same laptop I used with the 1st one. The laptop has a wireless connection to both networks.
