Jul 3, 2011So far I have tried doing a factory reset, power cycling, upgrading my firmware, and changing my channel [even though there weren't any interfering networks on the same channel in my area].
This problem started a while ago and has been going on for several months now. I will lose access to the internet for a brief period of time [1-2 seconds], but this is very annoying. I will exit conversations on MSN, downloads will stop sometimes, and it is virtually impossible to play online multiplayer games since I keep losing connection every five minutes or so.
The connection works just fine when I connect my modem directly to my PC.
Dlink Router DIR-615 Keeps Disconnecting From The Internet?
Jun 3, 2011This keeps happening, the router keeps disconnecting from the internet every 5 seconds. What can be going on? I have already logged into the dlink admin and changed the RTS Threshold to 2304. After that, it worked for a couple of days, and now its back to disconnecting again. What can be wrong? If you need any additional info. just let me know.
NOTE: I have already checked for the firmware update, and it appears to be up to date.

A program called VideoViewer is installed on the computer which works with the DVR to view images on the computer via ethernet.
Funny thing is that it works with a Zoom router, but not the Netgear There must be settings on the Netgear that needs changing

Jan 31, 2012I bought a new cable and rewired the ISP connection because mice chewed on the cord in the attic. I have a belkin N150 as the main router with the connection comming in to it. I have the DD-WRT that we want to setup as a repeater. I followed instructions as too the wireless mode, security key, gateway, subnet and all that but I cannot see the DD-WRT router.
Okay I rebooted the repeater and entered the settings again from here and now it is working except I cant see my repeater now when i type 192.168.2.1.
Belkin N150 Wireless Modem Can't Connect
Apr 10, 2013I recently had trouble with my Comcast Xfinity internet service and called to have them send a refresh signal. I was up and running again with my ethernet, but my wireless service using a Belkin N150 wireless router hasn't worked.From everything I had read I needed to do a hard reset of the Belkin N150 router and then reconfigure it's settings. Well I did the hard reset and power cycled everything, the modem, computer and router. I then plugged in everything again and connected the modem to the WAN on the router with one cable, and the computer to the LAN on the router with another cable. (I am using a Macbook Pro operating with Mac OSX). Now I cannot connect to the url...to configure the settings on the router at all!
I think the problem has something to do with my IP address. I opened the network settings and saw that my IP address is 50.138.25.x while my Subnet Mask is 255.255.254.0 and the router is being listed as 50.138.24.x. How to change this IP address to get my router connected or could it be another problem?

I've tried resetting everything, getting Orange to replace the router (a new Netgear N150) but still nothing. I've tried changing channels in the past but never seems to last. As Far as I can tell When it drops its still connected to the Wireless network.. it just says local only and Gives me the limited connectivity warning.. When I diagnose the issue it tells me a number of different things and it tells me to renew the IP settings and sometimes that will work and sometimes not.. The laptop is a HP Pavilion DV9000 with all original hardware.

After I connected the ethernet cable to the router and plugged everything in, I installed the program from the CD that it came with. After the whole process, it says "You are now connected to the internet!". Yeah well when I try to get on the internet, it suddenly takes the connection off. On my wifi status, it says it's not connected anymore. When I try to connect again, it says I'm connected, although if I get on internet explorer, it takes off the connection again. Though when it is connected, it says no internet connection available although I am connected to the router. So basically, I'm connected to the router, but not the router to the internet.

Mar 22, 2012I have just picked up an ADSL Netgear N150 DGN1000 router as my old router (just some branded old thing from my ISP has started playing up a bit due to age more than anything else) but for some reason it is not seeing my internet connection at all.I've reset it factory default twice and connect to it wirelessly just fine, including accessing the router's setup pages and whatnot. I was going to update the firmware from in there.. but that needs the connection to the internet as well.
My ISP is BE Unlimited (UK ISP) and their old branded modem connects again immediately when I plug that back in so I know it's nothing to do with any of the cables or filters, etc.One thing I have noticed is that on the box for the new router it does say Orange Retail (another UK ISP) on one of the barcodes but the router itself isn't branded, so I don't see this could be a problem but figured it was woth mentioning.

Jan 8, 2012My enquiry is about a brand new Belkin N150 F6D4050ed that i bought last week.I had to buy it because my previous Wifi Dongle just stopped working all together, it was an excellent dongle, gave me full signal strength and never cut out.Then i bought the Belkin.. I installed the drivers, plugged it in, since then, i have had 2-3 bars constantly, mostly 2 bars, The router is only 8-10 Feet away from me in the next room which is seperated by a very thin wall, It cuts off all together if a body stands in front of it, such as my brother coming in to chat. I have tried to move it around the room with no joy, All laptops and other wireless devices in the house connect to the router fine (Including downstairs in the garden even),Im a gamer, so i need a stable strong connection and its impossible to stay in games with this dongle.

Jul 12, 2012I have just bought a Belkin n150 router. Connected it to my modem and PC and I'm recieving internet. Connected my phone and laptop and getting wireless.The issue, however, is that I cannot login to the router page. The login says to leave blank for default, but it gives me an incorrect password error. I have tried resetting using the button located above the power cable to go back to defaults, but I continue to recieve the error.
I have tried a all the other usual default passwords, password, administrator, admin, etc.I've gone through pages of google search results and found nothing. Have I missed something obvious or did Walmart sell me a defective router?
