I have been having problems connecting to the WiFi in my house. Other laptops are able to connect to the network except mine. Nothing is wrong in the device manager and I cannot figure what is wrong with my laptop. The network usually becomes limited or cannot connect to this network

I am currently in Thailand and I have been using dozens of different wifi connections around Australia and South-east Asia without a problem for the last year. I moved into a new place yesterday and when I tried to connect, it has the little yellow triangle with an exclamation mark, over the wireless symbol on the taskbar. I tried the troubleshooter but it says turn the modem off an on, I don't think I can do this, I'll try and ask reception but I doubt they will let me.
No-one else at this place I am staying has had the same problem as me. The signal strength is "excellent", the wifi password is correct. I have windows 7 on a Dell Inspiron.
I am at my old place now, where the internet works. I downloaded the internet test thing from one of the stickies, I'll go and do that at my new place and post the results soon.
I have a new inspiron 537s with vista home.basic. I have to limit the connection to 10 mb, full duplex due to my buildings internet system. it would work great, but after about 15 minutes, I get a limited connectivity icon over the internet icon, and I can't go online at all.. The building IT person said to go to 10 mb half duplex, but then I get no internet.My older dim 2400 works great, with no interruptions.I don't want to change anything without knowing what I am doing. Since the day I have started using the laptop, I was not able to connect to the internet, using my wifi router. The laptop does get connected to the internet, when I use the Ethernet cable. Thus to find a solution, I tried contacting dell, who took a remote access on my laptop, and also reinstalled the operating system, as well as the drivers for me. The problem is still not resolved, and continues to trouble me every day. I have also tried connecting the laptop to other wifi routers, but the problem still persists. Also I would like to mention that, the wifi router, which I use does get connected to all other devices of mine including my ipod, mobile, and an other laptop of mine

This computer is brand new Dell Inspiron 15R. The WIFI is dropping out repeatedly. I connect for ~10 minutes, but then the connection gets a yellow exclamation point for limited connectivity, and I can't reconnect until rebooting the router. I read the sticky but there wasn't a post for the 2230 network card.
The problem happened on windows 7 and now on windows 8. Rebooting the computer doesn't work. I tried the POWER SAVE trick and it didn't work. I tried the maximum roaming trick, and that didn't work either. The network card is the Centrino Wireless-N 2230 with the 15.5.6.48 drivers.
I can connect to the Verizon Wireless router or tether off my DROID X2 for about ten minutes, sometimes for longer, but either way, the connection is dropped, and I can't reconnect until rebooting the router.

I also have another laptop and xbox that use this network and are having NO issues in connecting and working perfectly fine.

Result: I think many of people had this problem- i can't activate.
I tried install the network driver: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230.
I installed Windows 8 on my Dell laptop and my bluetooth device doesn't work properly. When Windows 7 was installed and my laptop and my Samsung Galaxy S3 were paired I could play songs from my phone on my computer. But now it is not possible on Windows 8.

This is via a Virgin Media super hub and is only 1 month old.The internet speed on my new Dell is very slow in comparison to my old laptop (an HP) so I tested the connection using Speedtest.net. As you can see the HP is consistent on both the wireless network and hard wired but the performance of the Dell is excellent on a wire but terrible on wireless.Some further info - I bought Norton 360 with the laptop, the above results were achieved with that installed. I have since uninstalled that and there was no difference to the speedtest.net. I then turned off the windows firewall and again it made no difference to the results.
I have consistently had this problem with my laptop and paid almost 400 dollars 3 times to dell technical support. Each time they fix it , it works for sometime and then again it goes off. I think they purposely do it only for a short period of time .This is the worse computer ever . The wireless internet just stops working and I have to manually connect using an Ethernet cable.

I have also been having problems with some computer programs. McAfee and windows threat both decided to shut down along with the firewalls. The security seems to be up and running now but my firewall doesn't seem to want to turn on.
We've had a home wireless router for several years. My wife's one-year old laptop computer (Dell Inspiron 5010) worked fine until this week when it suddenly lost connectivity and I can't get it back on-line. My laptop still works fine. I first ensured that the wireless function is on. I then clicked on the connectivity icon which shows "No connections available". It also won't show me any available wireless conection options. Under the "Open Network and Sharing Center" link, I've tried the "Set up a new connection of network" and "Connect to the internet". Under "How do you want to connect?" it only gives me "Dial-Up" as an option initially and adds "Broadband" when I choose "Show options the computer is not set up to use". When I choose broadband, and enter my user name and password, I get a message that "The wizard cannot create the connection". I also went to Control Panel, Internet Properties, Connections, Set-Up, and it takes me back to the same "Connect to the Internet window mentioned above with the same issues. I also plugged my wife's computer dirrectly into the router and still got no connectivity. How do I get my wife's computer back on-line?
