Sep 3, 2012i have a 3g usb dongle and my desktop is connected by it. now i have netgear. now i wanted to make a wifi hotspot in my home.i have connected internet via 3g usb dongle, then in network and internet i have changed the change advance setting by making home and public sharing on. then i have connected LAN to desktop to router, then i have changed internet protocol 4 in properties of LAN, by taking the IP address, subnet mask, gateway,DNS server of my service provider and applying same to LAN IPv4. i have doubt that gateway was 0.0.0.0 which was not accepted by LAN.i have left it blank.

Apr 14, 2012I have a laptop in my Office that connects to the internet via a USB dongle. The USB dongle is my only access to the WWW. (as there is no cable in the area) I want to add a wireless LAN to the laptop using wired connection to a wireless ADSL Router in the adjacent building. (there is no ADSL available. Just want the Router for it's HUB capabilities)I have connected the LAN port on the laptop to one of the LAN ports on the ADSL Router via a cable.My plan was to then create a LAN in the adjacent building by adding wireless and wired devices (PCs, ipCameras etc...) to the ADSL Router.When I attempt to setup the ADSL Router, the laptop sees the Wireless Router as conflicting with the wireless attributes of the USB dongle!

Jul 16, 2012I'm having trouble connecting my 02 dongle to the internet using my router. My router is a TP-LINK MR3420 and my 02 modem device is E1752. I checked to see if the modem is compatible and it says it is. I went through the configuration that was given to me with the router and I tried using you tube but nothing. Do i need to get a static I.P address off my Internet provider? If I plug my 02 USB dongle directly into my computer it works perfectly and I got the router to work using a Ethernet cable and plugging it into the WAN port at the back of the router but I would prefer to let it connect through the 3g port

The reason being, I am going to use the RNX to get access to the internet for my Blu-Ray player (BD-C5500T). I have looked everywhere and cannot find any info on the setup. The other way is to connect the PC to my T.V. as my integrated card has an HDMI port and bridge the wireless connection with the integrated wired connection (if that is possible) so i can gain internet access to my Blu-Ray player. I have tried to configure with my player and no-go. It works fine when i configure the RNX on my PC though.
