I have a MR3040 and purchased a Huawei E303C data card. After an initial hickup in configuring it the Data card although not on the compatibility list works excellently with the MR3040.

Is there any chance to make work HUAWEI E303C with MR3040?I know this model is not in the compatibility list, but when I try connect this modem with the router, it can be identified but it cant be connected. On the logs it appears that there is a problem with dial, APN, but I'm sure I'm introducing the correct values?
I have idea netsetter(huawei dongle e1732) and i had unlocked it and now i am using tata docomo sim card on it.now i want to use this dongle in wifi router 3g usb modems.but i am not sure that the dongle can work on router modems or not?i wanna make hotspot at home using dongle in router modem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a pair of SRP-527W routers running latest firmware V 1.01.26. Everthing works fine. Except.... Have purchased a ZTE MF112 usb dongle as backup to the ADSL but router refuses to recognise it. In mobile network status shows as "Unable to Detect USB Mobile Modem".
Have tried a second dongle of the same type, cold reboot of router etc... but nothing. It is supposed to be supported in this release of firmware...?

im currently on three netowork usb dongle e3231 and wanting to setup a WiFi network using this dongle would the mr 3220 be a suitable router for my three dongle? also on the tp link site it says the router is battery operated is this the case as im sure it loooks like theres an adaptor plug on the back.

I have just bought TL-MR3220 router to use with Huawei EC315-2 USB 3G modem, but it is not being identified by the router. I checked compatibility list and it is not in 3G modem compatibility list. Recently got a new USB dongle - Huawei e392. Initially it worked fine, had no problems, but then suddenly it stopped connecting. I tried everything, forcing 3g, forcing 4g, re-upgrading firmware and uploading a .bin file, nothing works.
It just tries to connect, gets disconnected, and unplugs the USB modem, then does it over and over again.

My USB Modem HUAWEI E173 not work as well with TL-MR3420 Its lose Identify every almost 15 minutes , and try to Identify again and some times not successfully until I reboot the unit . then its Identify successfully , after some minutes the problem happen again and again . I think its from the router software issue that it have not the correct driver of the modem .
also , the signal of the wireless not that good like the other routers which I used before .

I managed to get my Huawei E3131 from ISP Telia in Sweden to work for 4 days, from the detailed specification from my ISP I can see 1,9GB of data was sent/received with modem+router during those days. The router lost contact with the modem about 3 times during those 4 days but after a restart it was up and running again.
After those 4 days the router cannot find the modem anymore and even though I have upgraded the firmware it does not work. (I have tried both firmware versions available online without success).
I cannot find my Huawei modem in the compatibility list over "Other Location" compatible modems since Sweden is not even an option.
How is it possible that I managed to get it to work for a few days but after that not again? I have tried connecting the 3G-modem to the laptop and then it works perfectly.

i am using tp-link router tl-mr3020.. having problem with internet access..it shows my isp (mts) network and got connected also.. it also shows me send and receive data.. but there is no internet access through web browsers .i have tried multiple web browsers (IE / Chrome / Mozilla Firefox)..but the problem remains same.. my ISP network is MTS .. dosen't support my huawei E392 4G modem. if possible would you make bin for this. there is not other modems that you can get for 4G connections from the service provider so it would be nice if there was more compatibility than some old ancient modems. starts to feel like this is been sold as 4G router and dosen't actually support that at all.
I had my exisiting Huawei 3G Dongle replaced with a new LTE USB Dongle Huawei E392 from M1 Singapore. The router dectects it and I was able to get on to the Internet. But every after few mins, the connection will just hang and I have to go into the router to re-establish the connection.

I am having a problem with the DIR-615 router seeing my printer on a wired network. The printer is a Brother HL-2170W (also capable of a wireless connection). All other network PC's connect okay. I have attempted both wired and wireless connection procedures that came with the printer with no luck. The DIR-615 router does not see the printers IP address. How can I get the router to recognize the printer?

I have purchased TL-MR3040 especial for share my 3G account . I have connect it by ethernet port and made setups and it is in 3g/4g only mode. In system checks my modem indicated as " Identified" the modem is a Huawei E160E . My notebook and tablet connects by wireless connection to TL-MR3040 but the router does not dial ISP number *99# . The led on usb modem continues flashing. the 3G modem works perfectly with my notebook and tablet and I use the same parameters for TL-MR3040 with tablet. But most of the parameters don't exist on setup pages of TL-MR3040 . [code]

The TL-MR3220 takes a long time to identify the 3g modem and sometimes it will not identify it at all and says "unplugged". Sometimes "unplugged" suddenly apears after the modem has been identified and was working properly.Is this the normal behavior of this device ? Why ? What can be done ? I have an old Compaq PC that's running Windows XP SP3 and for quite some time has not had problems with networking or using this wireless adapter. But not long ago the network interface disappeared and the adapter was now being shown in the Device Manager as an unknown device. If you pulled the adapter out and reinserted it you'd get a message on screen that would say something to that effect.
There are two computers next to each other that both use this exact same adapter and I've tried swapping them between the PCs to see if one adapter worked better than another. They both work in one PC and neither work in the PC I'm having trouble with.
Have hooked up a DIR-825 to an iMac and it works well on 2.4GHz band. Having issues seeing 5GHz band as it comes and goes. Just today bought a DWA-160 USB adapter hoping it would connect the kid's PS3 to the 5GHz band but the PS3 wont accept or recognize either the DWA-160 or the 5GHz band.
Can't find any solutions in the manuals.Desperate for a fix as the wife and I want to be able to work on the 2.4GHz without being constantly kicked off by the kids on the PS3.
I have multiple computers on my network as well as cell phones logging in as wifi. At least once a day I have trouble or another computer has trouble getting on line through my network. I have to unplug my router and replug. Its as if it doesn't recognize the ip address until reboot.
