I have idea netsetter(huawei dongle e1732) and i had unlocked it and now i am using tata docomo sim card on it.now i want to use this dongle in wifi router 3g usb modems.but i am not sure that the dongle can work on router modems or not?i wanna make hotspot at home using dongle in router modem.

I bought this router just today, but it cant recognize my huawei e303c 3g modem.i've upgraded the firmware. This router supports the dongle or not?
I can connect to the internet using a huawei dongle on three mobile broadband. But recently having trouble loading web pages. I get the message- dns server isn't responding. I have contacted three who changed settings on my pc through remote access, but I still have the problem although it doesn't seem as bad, i can view more web pages before getting the error message.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a new EA3500 too replace my old WRT120N. After I replace it with the same configuration as I had in WRT120N, my dongle Wifi WN100 (Atheros) stop working. Even it indicates that Wifi is connected and dispyed in DHCP current table, I can't ping the device from my PC connected to the router.I rolled back to my WRT120N and all works again.

I installed the drivers, plugged it in, since then, i have had 2-3 bars constantly, mostly 2 bars, The router is only 8-10 Feet away from me in the next room which is seperated by a very thin wall, It cuts off all together if a body stands in front of it, such as my brother coming in to chat. I have tried to move it around the room with no joy, All laptops and other wireless devices in the house connect to the router fine (Including downstairs in the garden even),Im a gamer, so i need a stable strong connection and its impossible to stay in games with this dongle.

I was wondering is it possible to have one router in my room which my desktops plug into - and then the router to ""Bridge" with the one downstairs to give me wireless capability. I believe its called bridging but i have had no hopen as of yet. Huawei HG520b and Huawei HG532 are my two routers. I have been planning on buying a a cable spliter and router but in the meantime, I have been switching the cable from the cable box to the modem when I need internet. Well, a friend moved in and he brought HIS modem from same ISP and a wireless router and set it up upstairs. Now there is a modem upstairs and a modem downstairs and a wireless router upstairs. My kids are complaining that they cant connect wirelessly when the internet is being used upstairs. My goal is to be able to have two xbox 360's online- one upstairs and one downstairs, one netbook and two Jurrasic PC's which probalby are not wireless, My roomate prefers to hardwire his xbox to a router as he says its faster that way. Is the problem my kids are having downstairs just that the wireless router is too weak? Is it ok to have to modems connected (the one upstairs to the xbox? and the one downstairs?)

Whilst the MR3420 V2 is sold as a 4G usb router, it appears that it does not support many usb 4G devices.In Australia we currently have the Seirra 320u, ZTE MF821 (100Mbps Cat 3) and Huawei E3276 (150Mbps Cat 4)whilst the V2 supports the first two (not the E3276), it has one major failure!It does not work at full 4G speeds.
The V2 does not appear to allow download speeds in excess of 25Mbps or uploads much greater than 2Mbps. This occurs on fast 3G and 4G networks.The throttled speed is apparently due to slow modem protocols deployed in the router. High protocol overheads mean it cannot 'shuffle data' very fast.We have developed working solutions using the Openwork platform that overcome these issues and provides speeds in excess of 70mbps.

I have tested two zte ac 8700 bsnl evdo modems with tp link mr3220.its not working with the tp link mr 3220.it is lited as the compatible modem in the website. I have updated the firmware.
I'm on a Mac running OSX. Qwest (my ISP) recently swapped my DSL modem for an Actiontec Q1000 combo modem/router. The Q1000 firewall is not nearly as configurable as my Linksys BEFSR41 (v3) router. I'd like to use the Q1000 just as a modem and use my Linksys as my router so I can access it's superior firewall configuration.
How do I physically hook the hardware up?
How do I configure the 2 items. The Q1000 uses 192.168.0.1 as it's web address. The Linksys uses 192.168.1.1. I have 2 Macs on my network, an iMac (OS 10.5.8) and a G4 (10.3.9).
Besides web browsing & email, I also have a torrent client I use (Azureus).

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just installed a new router, a HUAWEI HG533 I am not able to connect wirelessly with my Acer Aspire 5520 (with Vista home premium).I can connect my new router using the ethernet cable, and last time I tried my old router would connect wirelessly.If I hover over the network icon, it says 'Unidentified Acess:local only'My smartphone (and my wifes) will connect (but oly mine to the old router!).I have tried removing the microsoft 6to4 adapters (suggested on another forum) this didn't work.
