I have a 3 Network USB Dongle which is the only thing that will work for receiving broadband at a remote location.
Also have a Kasda WiFi router It has a USB port on it (whether it is connected to anything inside?)
We want to send wifi around the house with the 3 Network broadband - can we utilize this router or have to get something else

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a new EA3500 too replace my old WRT120N. After I replace it with the same configuration as I had in WRT120N, my dongle Wifi WN100 (Atheros) stop working. Even it indicates that Wifi is connected and dispyed in DHCP current table, I can't ping the device from my PC connected to the router.I rolled back to my WRT120N and all works again.

I installed the drivers, plugged it in, since then, i have had 2-3 bars constantly, mostly 2 bars, The router is only 8-10 Feet away from me in the next room which is seperated by a very thin wall, It cuts off all together if a body stands in front of it, such as my brother coming in to chat. I have tried to move it around the room with no joy, All laptops and other wireless devices in the house connect to the router fine (Including downstairs in the garden even),Im a gamer, so i need a stable strong connection and its impossible to stay in games with this dongle.

(as there is no cable in the area) I want to add a wireless LAN to the laptop using wired connection to a wireless ADSL Router in the adjacent building. (there is no ADSL available. Just want the Router for it's HUB capabilities)I have connected the LAN port on the laptop to one of the LAN ports on the ADSL Router via a cable.My plan was to then create a LAN in the adjacent building by adding wireless and wired devices (PCs, ipCameras etc...) to the ADSL Router.When I attempt to setup the ADSL Router, the laptop sees the Wireless Router as conflicting with the wireless attributes of the USB dongle!

I'm having trouble connecting my 02 dongle to the internet using my router. My router is a TP-LINK MR3420 and my 02 modem device is E1752. I checked to see if the modem is compatible and it says it is. I went through the configuration that was given to me with the router and I tried using you tube but nothing. Do i need to get a static I.P address off my Internet provider? If I plug my 02 USB dongle directly into my computer it works perfectly and I got the router to work using a Ethernet cable and plugging it into the WAN port at the back of the router but I would prefer to let it connect through the 3g port

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my vpn concentrator. I cannot access it through console, I have tried every baud rate that is available on my SecureCrt but it won't display anything. At first, I thought that my console cable is defective but I was able to access a WLC via console cable together with the rj45 to db9 converter. I also tried connecting the vpn concentrator to a switch and enable the cdp in the switch but the "show cdp neighbor" can't detect or display the vpn concentrator even if the interface status is "up up". Is it safe to say that the VPN concentrator is already broken?
