View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a new EA3500 too replace my old WRT120N. After I replace it with the same configuration as I had in WRT120N, my dongle Wifi WN100 (Atheros) stop working. Even it indicates that Wifi is connected and dispyed in DHCP current table, I can't ping the device from my PC connected to the router.I rolled back to my WRT120N and all works again.

Existing Fiber connector in Network closet on both ends is an SC connector (picture attached). What Modules, adapter cables do I need to connect to an SRW2048 switch at one end an SRW2024 switch at the other? Will this solution provide a Gigabit connection over the Fiber ?
I am looking at using SRW2048-K9-NA with MGBSX1 module at one closet and SRW2024-K9-NA with MGBSX1 module in the other closet at the other end of the Fiber cable.
I found an adapter cable that will convert an SC male to an LC Male and it looks like it will work but I have no experience with fiber. I attached a picture of this adapter as well. It is listed on line as - 1ft Fiber Optic Adapter Cable LC (Male) to SC (Female) Multimode 62.5/125 Duplex
i have usb dongle wifi which i used to connect via wireless router i can connect for a minuite after i plug it and then after a while it cannot browse internet while indicating that is connected as can see on command promt with pinging command "Request timed out" contineously so i going to replug the usb dongle again to connect.

The reason being, I am going to use the RNX to get access to the internet for my Blu-Ray player (BD-C5500T). I have looked everywhere and cannot find any info on the setup. The other way is to connect the PC to my T.V. as my integrated card has an HDMI port and bridge the wireless connection with the integrated wired connection (if that is possible) so i can gain internet access to my Blu-Ray player. I have tried to configure with my player and no-go. It works fine when i configure the RNX on my PC though.

I connected the dongle to a working USB port where the computer installed the drives/program that existed on the dongle. However, when I start the program it says no device found. I tried pulling out the USB and then plugging it back into the USB port whereas the computer first gives me a "pling" sound that it has detected the device and immediatly after that sad sound that says the device has been pulled out even though it's still securely in the USB slot[CODE]

Last night I accessed the Internet at home via my USB Internet dongle (actually an O2 mobile phone). Today neither works. I have also tried to connect to the Internet via Wireless and that does not work either.Needless to say my desktop (using the same Cat5 cable) works. My mobile phone can access the Internet on it own. And others can get the wireless to work.My Vaio can connect to all three; however, all three say "No Internet access".I changed nothing between last night and this morning. I have scanned through the list of Windows Updates and nothing has been downloaded in the past week. I have turned off my firewalls (in both McAfee and Symantec Endpoint Protection). I have run the three NETSH reset commands with Administrator privileges. I have rebooted my machine numerous times. Nothing works.
