I buy the Huawei K3765 USB Modem (unlocked, so I can use all operators).
After I plugged it in, it installed the Mobile Partner Software succesfully. The phone and SMS function is running well. I can call and text someone through the modem.
But the problem is when I tried to connect to the internet it shows error message:
Error 31: A device attached to the system is not functioning
I have tried the modem on another computer (Windows XP and Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit too) and it worked well. For information my notebook is ASUS K42JR, OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit.

I have just bought TL-MR3220 router to use with Huawei EC315-2 USB 3G modem, but it is not being identified by the router. I checked compatibility list and it is not in 3G modem compatibility list. I tried to find out its bin file so that I can add modem configuration to the router but unfortunately could not find any.
I tried to install Vodafone K3765 USB internet stick. I installed the software which came in the flashdrive. With this software I tried to connect to internet but I got error message "The device has been disconnected or is unavailable". I checked in device manager and in two categories this device appeared. Those two categories were "Modem" and "Network Adapter". Why this device comes under two categories plus why I am getting this error message?
I recently got a new laptop, but it won't connect to my network. All my other devices do and all my roommates hadn't experience any problems either. My laptop can also connect to the network of my school. My laptop is a HP Elitebook 8560w with windows 7 Enterprise SP 1(64-bit). I believe my router is a Huawei HG655D.
My ISP provided me with a new Huawei HG521 router today and I'm trying to get our 4 family PCs to get along nicely through it.So far, one Windows 7 (SysInfo log below) and one XP machine are getting along really sweetly, with the XP printing through the W7's printer.But the 2nd W7 machine sees the 1st W7 machine, but doesn't see its printer.And the sole Vista machine connects to the internet but doesn't see either of the W7 machines, or the XP machine. i have configured some machines into a workgroup. all machines are opening except two machines having windows 7 . they are showing a window for username and password as appears in a domain. how to correct it
My computer is only one month old. I did a clean install of Windows 7 on it and a clean install of Ubuntu 11.04 (dual boot). With Ubuntu, the wireless works without issue. In Windows, the connection is fine through a cable, but wireless networks are not detected at all. Since I did a clean install, I had to install drivers manually. I got these from the Samsung website (my laptop is a Samsung Q430). I think that my Wireless card is Broadcom but I am not sure. The wireless did work at the start, but there were connectivity issues, and so I removed the wireless driver from the device manager and reinstalled the Broadcom drivers. Now I can't get any wireless at all in Windows.
I think I may be missing some drivers, but I'm not sure. I have the Broadcom Wireless Utility but I can't get it to do anything useful. Right now I'm connected through a cable. Here is the result of ipconfig[CODE]
I have configured Squid on my system having Windows 7. I didn't missed any steps. In Services it is showing Squid running.But my internet is running directly without any proxy settings. And when i change to proxy settings at port 3128, internet stops working. I had installed earlier and it was working fine. but now I am also using ICS to share internet connection from a broadband to a lan through my system.

i had an extra network under my wireless networks that was just called "network" which was not connected to anything, but since i had this, on the bottom right of my screen where it normally showed the bars for the wireless connection, it had the bars grey with a red X on them, but my connection worked fine still.I am using windows 7 64x bit. I always use a wireless connection on my laptop.
I reinstalled windows XP on my computer using the install disk I got with my computer. However, now I can't get on the internet on that computer to update the drivers, and I can't find anything that'll let me do it without internet.I don't have an independent network card, just what's built into my motherboard. Haven't been able to find the driver for it, only programs that will find it for me, using said internet.

I just formatted my laptop and installed windows 8 64 bit. The wifi was coming switched off. On checking from settings I was unable to switch it on. I installed the wifi drive from the resource cd but that too didnt work. Then I installed the wifi driver from [URL] Note: removed per privacy policy~RK>. Still the wifi is not switching on.
On removing the existing wifi driver from the laptop, windows somehow reinstalls in automatically.

My roommate is running dual boot Windows XP PRO (SP3) and Ubuntu 10.10. I am running Windows XP PRO(SP3). Is there any software, that can run on both OS and can create a home network that will work between XP and Ubuntu. He has Samba installed but I have read that that works on Linux not Windows so he can see me but I can't see him.
My laptop won't connect to the internet at all and status shows limited access to router. It was fine a few days ago until a Windows update. I did a system restore on it back to before the windows update and the internet was working just fine but then there was an automatic windows update again and the connection is gone again. When I try to troubleshoot it says the network adapter is not working properly. I'm currently using the main computer in the house. I can't access any network at all on my laptop and I'm nearly in tears. This has happened before about 7 months ago after a windows update. At that time I did a system restore and reinstalled the updates and it worked just fine. This time nothing. I have tried to check for updated drivers for the network adapters but windows says I'm running the recent ones.
The wireless adapter keeps saying unidentified network, I can connect from other computers and they are all working fine.
Edit: Forgot to mention its a ASUS wireless n-15 adapter, also the system is a Windows 7 64 bit. Also, has a ip address 169.x.x.x which i know means no internet connection.
I just finished setting up VPN server on my Windows 2008 server. I defined the users that should be able to access the server and applied permissions. When I test the VPN connection on the LAN (loacally) I have no trouble connecting and establishing VPN connection.However when I tried externally it's a different story. I am not able to connect and always get the same not so clear 800 error ...The remote connection was not made because attempted VPN tunnel failed. I have Zyxel router for my internet connection and I have forwarded all relevant ports I think for the protocols I am using. Port such as 1723,1701,1702,47,50,51,500,1293,443,4500 are forwarded to the server.I am able to telnet to the server on port such as 1723.
I get the message "unidentified network - no internet access" on my computer since my upgrade to Windows 8. I'm using an Actiontec GT704-WG DSL modem/router connected to an ASUS M4A79XTD-EVO motherboard. I can get wireless access to my computer - a desktop - from the modem but not from the cabled DSL. I installed on 2 different PCs (Win7 64-bit) the Cisco VPN Client 5.0.07 with the same VPN profile for 2 different users. We use an ASA5505 (8.0(5) sec plus license) as the VPN end point for the clients. The VPN Clients can connect simultaneously to the ASA, they receive the split tunnel infos but only ONE client can ping the internal network ip range. The other one has no access to the internal resources! When they separately try to connect, there is no problem. Each of them can reach the internal net.On other 2 PCs (Win 7 32-bit) the clients have no problem reaching the internal net (simultaneously connect).
I have a stable l2tp/ipsec config that I have been using for many years with the Windows XP native VPN client and the iPhone VPN client.This configuration does not seem to work with the native Windows 7 VPN client.
