I have BSNL optical fiber broadband connection with Huawei EchoLife HG850a ONT. I want to configure my ONT to control internet access of any individual system which is connected to this ONT by switch.
I moved into a new apartment in Mexico City a month ago. The internet, already installed when I moved in, comes through a device called a Huawei EchoLife HG8427. For the first month of my residence, the internet worked perfectly. Suddenly, on a recent day, I was no longer able to connect to the internet, though I was still connected to the network. This problem has persisted for some time now.I have tried just about everything that I know how to, including restarting the modem, fiddling with my IPv4/6 settings, disabling/enabling my connection, disabling my firewall, ipconfic/flushdns/registerdns, ipconfig/reset/renew, and probably a few other things that I have now forgotten.
My computer, a Toshiba NB505 running Windows 7 Starter 32-bit, has no problem connecting to the internet via other networks. Ping tests show that I am indeed connected to the network and have no OS problems. I do not have any McAffee software (I read somewhere that this was a problem for some people). I cannot do a hard reset because the modem does not belong to me and serves several other people living here (this is sort of a short-stay guesthouse). This afternoon, the map on my network and sharing center briefly showed a successful internet connection (for about 10 minutes). During that time, however, I was still unable to connect to the internet and when I restarted my computer, it was back to showing a broken connection.Windows IP Configuration
i got the echolife HG520b with this weird problem that's bugging me a lot nowadays which is disconnection. The internet light bulb always go off and the internet cuts every 5-10 minutes. I've tried to reboot with factory settings but it didn't work.
my ADSL/Internet is going off constantly. I have had this problem on and off for years but it has generally went away within time so I guess it's something to do with my provider. Sometimes it will just go off once, but sometimes it will go off 5 times in a row. It also sometimes happens when somebody phones the home phone. I am with talktalk and my router is EchoLife HG520s. I have an extension cable running form the master phone socket, then a microfilter for the phone and the ADSL cable (for my router).
I have an Echolife router, HG532, connected as my main router. It is connected using cable and I use it for wifi too. The signal in other rooms is very weak and I was wondering if it's possible to use a spare router that I have, Echolife HG521, to extend the network coverage?
I can connect to this router via Lan and have no problems.Via Wi Fi it connects but will not communicate with the router or see find the router vias ip address..I have turned on auto ip finding in network settings for Lan and for Wireless but wi fi still does not allow access to internet. It just says local only.when i go to Command prompt and do ipconfig /all it says all DHCP enabled are off!!
I buy the Huawei K3765 USB Modem (unlocked, so I can use all operators).
After I plugged it in, it installed the Mobile Partner Software succesfully. The phone and SMS function is running well. I can call and text someone through the modem.
But the problem is when I tried to connect to the internet it shows error message:
Error 31: A device attached to the system is not functioning
I have tried the modem on another computer (Windows XP and Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit too) and it worked well. For information my notebook is ASUS K42JR, OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit.
I have connected Huawei switch with Cisco switch using one single fiber with LX SFP. The port is up on one side (Blinking on Huawei side) and down on Cisco side..
I can connect to the internet using a huawei dongle on three mobile broadband. But recently having trouble loading web pages. I get the message- dns server isn't responding. I have contacted three who changed settings on my pc through remote access, but I still have the problem although it doesn't seem as bad, i can view more web pages before getting the error message.
I am using a USB Modem from HUAWEI Technologies to use internet when im not on a wifi zone.. The Internet Speed is kinda slow (512 kbps), so I configured my browser to go through a proxy to make it a lil bit faster (2mbps now)..Everything works fine except that I couldn't connect to https sites (gmail, facebook, eBay, etc)
I have a Huawei E583C Mobile Modem but cannot forward some ports needed for a game (Civilization 4), specifically port 2056. Im on a windows XP and have disabled that firewall and dont have any other firewall. Ive also logged into the modem with the standard IP but unlike my linkys router in another pc, I can't find the open port section. [code]
I have just installed a new router, a HUAWEI HG533 I am not able to connect wirelessly with my Acer Aspire 5520 (with Vista home premium).I can connect my new router using the ethernet cable, and last time I tried my old router would connect wirelessly. If I hover over the network icon, it says 'Unidentified Acess:local only'My smartphone (and my wifes) will connect (but oly mine to the old router!).I have tried removing the microsoft 6to4 adapters (suggested on another forum) this didn't work. (I then re-installed, no better).I've had a look at other posts on this forum, and Have done a couple of the tests suggested (wireless and mini toolbox, which I will post separately as it exceeds 20000 characters!)I have tried support from my ISP (who also supplied the router) and got a generic email in response, no luck.
If you are familiar with the Huawei HG520s router, I want to filter an ip range (ex. 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.255) so that no other users can connect on this ip range and start using the router.
I picked a threeHUAWEI E586, but after that i found this on mobile2wifi.co.uk that's fully unlocked, so that i wanna to do unlocked solution for mine, it could be compatible with more network
I have a Pre-existing repeating netgear network of a WNR2200 router set up as a base station with a harddrive plugged into it as a network device (readyshare) and another WNR2200 router set up as a repeater.
I want to supply this network using Huawei B260a modem (on the Three network).
I currently have this setup; The b260a IP is 10.0.0.1 subnet 225.225.225.0 and has DHCP turned on (range 10.0.0.100 - 10.0.0.200). This is plugged into the internet lan port of the base station wnr2200. The base station IP is 192.168.1.1 subnet 225.225.225.0 and has DHCP turned on (range 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.254) The repeater Wnr2200 is automatically an access point and has an IP of 192.168.1.254
This setup works but the speeds are around 1-2mb slower when connected to the netgear network than if connected directly to the B260a.
I am connected to the internet using a Huawei wireless USB modem connected to my desktop computer(no other type of service available) I would like to set up a Wifi home network so that I can connect using Wifi to all of the other gadget that I have in the house. So the question is can I connect a Wifi router using a ethernet cable comming from my desktop computer? and if so what router would you recommend for this application?
Just purchased a WS320 repeater so that my son can use his I-phone and I-pad around the house when he comes home weekends.Sadly, when the repeater is connected to my router the internet drops out on even my wired connections.I recently connected up to fibre and notice that the new router has the same gateway as the repeater.

Would it be possible to get huawei e3131 working with other ISP than Poland model? Since it seams to be technically just the same 3g modem, but ISP play locked bin file for it.
I just bought a Huawei E586 Mifi from 3 network in the UK and installed a 32GB micro-SD card. I want to be able to access this card wirelessly, but the "dashboard" (web interface control panel) that is installed doesn't have an option for the SD card. I have seen dashboards on the Internet and also a video on Youtube that do have this option, so I know this can be done.
I recently got a new laptop, but it won't connect to my network. All my other devices do and all my roommates hadn't experience any problems either. My laptop can also connect to the network of my school. My laptop is a HP Elitebook 8560w with windows 7 Enterprise SP 1(64-bit). I believe my router is a Huawei HG655D.

I have a MR3040 and purchased a Huawei E303C data card. After an initial hickup in configuring it the Data card although not on the compatibility list works excellently with the MR3040.
