Wireless Connected But Internet Stopped Working On Samsung 365E5C-S02 With Windows 8
Apr 2, 2013I have a samsung 365E5C-S02 Laptop running Windows 8. The internet worked just fine until yesterday when it stopped working. Now I can connect to the wireless network just fine but no internet. Several other computers work on the same wireless network. I ran the troubleshooting sequence at "control panel-> troubleshooting -> network and internet " but it didn't find anything.

However, now I can't get on the internet on that computer to update the drivers, and I can't find anything that'll let me do it without internet.I don't have an independent network card, just what's built into my motherboard. Haven't been able to find the driver for it, only programs that will find it for me, using said internet.

Apr 4, 2011i am using windows vista on my laptop.i was using zone alarm firewall, but switched it to windows firewall.after switching, my internet was cutoff. i can see that i am connected to my network, but cant get to internet.when i run diagnosis on my laptop, it gives me three options:
my Ethernet driver is having hardware issue.
my wireless driver is having hardware issue.
ip protocol binding is having issue. check ipv4 and ipv6 settings.
Can't Get Wireless Working In Windows 7?
Jun 27, 2011My computer is only one month old. I did a clean install of Windows 7 on it and a clean install of Ubuntu 11.04 (dual boot). With Ubuntu, the wireless works without issue. In Windows, the connection is fine through a cable, but wireless networks are not detected at all. Since I did a clean install, I had to install drivers manually. I got these from the Samsung website (my laptop is a Samsung Q430). I think that my Wireless card is Broadcom but I am not sure. The wireless did work at the start, but there were connectivity issues, and so I removed the wireless driver from the device manager and reinstalled the Broadcom drivers. Now I can't get any wireless at all in Windows.
I think I may be missing some drivers, but I'm not sure. I have the Broadcom Wireless Utility but I can't get it to do anything useful. Right now I'm connected through a cable. Here is the result of ipconfig[CODE]

May 30, 2012The wireless adapter keeps saying unidentified network, I can connect from other computers and they are all working fine.
Edit: Forgot to mention its a ASUS wireless n-15 adapter, also the system is a Windows 7 64 bit. Also, has a ip address 169.x.x.x which i know means no internet connection.
Wireless Connection Quit Working After Windows Update?
Aug 19, 2012My wife's computer was working fine. Two nights ago, a Windows update was automatically installed. Now, it will not connect to the internet. The map shows it connected to the network. We have several other devices on our network both wired and wireless and all of them are working fine.
I was able to use system restore yesterday to roll back the update. It still did not work. However, I tried connecting to a neighbor's wireless. It said something about refreshing the adapter and then it connected to our network and was working fine. Unfortunately, when she shut down last night, the windows update was reapplied. I turned off automatic updates and tried using system restore. It did not work this time. I removed every update that was applied in the last 48 hours but I still cannot get the computer to connect to the internet. However, it does connect to the internet when I bring it up in Safe Mode.

Aug 26, 2011I have tried to install a usb network adapter wusb100 ver.2 under win7 x64 and win7 x64 sp1(two different machines). I have installed and downloaded the latest drivers ( Driver11/09/2009 Ver.3.0.3.0 (64-bit)). Device manager reports everything is fine, but i can't find the adapter anywhere in the Network and Sharing Center on both machines, not even if i run ipconfig it won't show up. As a result of course there is no wireless connection available. Although adapter has worked fine when tested under win7 x32. But win7 x32 is not my case.

I have enabled USB Print Server on the router and managed to print from my main PC (connected by cable to router).
However, I cannot get it to work on my laptop.
I connected my laptop running Windows 7 x64 by cable to router, ran the USB print server software (latest version downloaded from web site). The USB server software sees my printer (Canon Pixma iP4200). It appears in the list to auto-connect but there is an X against it and if I try and set it to auto connect, I get the error "the port of auto-connect can not be a LPR/Raw TCP/SMB port". Apart from the occurrence of the printer I had installed before (so, yes the printer driver is installed), the USB-server printer does not appear in my system printer list.

Even I have upgraded to the newest firmware for WDR-4300, it still not allowed me to connect to a windows PPTP VPN. It worked when I changed to use my old router. On the other hand, when I turned the hardware NAT, I found that the Cisco VPN connection would be dropped after I used for a few minutes. Similarly, it worked when I changed to use my previous old router.

Internet Not Working With New Wireless Router?
Jun 13, 2011My laptop computer is having difficulty connecting to a wireless internet. I just bought a brand new router but still having difficulties. Once I start up the computer it works but if I take a break from the computer (computer times off or I close lid) it will stop working. It reads the router but states identifying and has a X between router and internet.

Over Christmas we got a camera that emails directly from it, and it told us to press the WSP button on the Belkin router. The camera magically worked, however our computers did not work anymore! After an hour long phone call to Belkin, I got one of my computers to work normally again. However the 2nd laptop won't connect to the internet and our tivo isn't picking it up either, which mean our shows are not recording.
Also, I'm using two apple computers. When I attempt to hook up the airport network, it says "unable to join the network."

Jun 27, 2011Yesterday my wireless internet just appeared to stop working completely, it has always worked fine up unti now!I have checked all the usual issues, it is nothing to do with my router as i can use other laptops/desktops to access the internet fine.I am using a Pavillion DV6-1215sa which has a Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g WiFi Adapter.It has full strenght but just says Limited Connectivity, so it is picking up the wireless network but wont actually let me connect to the internet via it.
I am able to access the internet when i hard wire the ethernet cable into my laptop, but the just wont work for wireless.I have tried lots of different suggestions so far, but still cannot access the internet.

My brother suggested i try downloading malwarebytes on my laptop and installing it on the PC to get rid of it. Malwarebytes picked up the virus and got rid of it. I restarted the computer and when i tried to access the internet on the PC the message on the browser says "Could not connect". My wireless is fine, but the wired connection to the PC is not. When i look at it on the PC it says that it is connected but the browsers show no connection.
