D-Link DIR-655 :: Wireless Network And Internet Not Working

I bought the DIR-655 last year and till within warranty. Yesterday, I lost the wireless network on my laptops but internet was working. I contacted the d-link support and during the process of troubleshooting the problem, the internet connection was also lost. I followed all instructions given to me by d-link teams that spoke with me but the problem was not resolved. I tried to call the d-link support but my calls were ignored . Up till now, the wireless and internet connections through DIR-655 are not working.

The other day I went to a friends house, came back home, booted up my PC, and my wireless network adapter wasn't working. I've tried everything to fix it.It's a D-Link DWA-525 802.11n Wireless PCI netowrk adapter. On device manager it just says 802.11 Wireless LAN Card with a yellow exclamation next to it. And when I check what the error is, it's either error 31 or 52 at different times, depending what I've tried to do to fix it.I tried downloading the driver for it off the D-Link website, nothing happens at all when I install it. I tried taking it out of my computer and plugging it in. I tried enabling it and disabling it on device manager.I noticed one thing, when it's in my computer the green light at the back that says activity next to it isn't on.

Network isn't working on pc or on wireless devices. I restarted, reinstalled, rebooted but isn't working. LEDs light up normally but I don't receive internet connection on devices.

After moving I was using a wireless Internet connection for a while but then I started using a direct connection to a router. Now I'm back to wireless but I'm having this problem, my brother has been using the wireless from the beginning and still does so I'm sure it's my computer. No browsers work, no games, nothing can connect to the Internet.I'm running windows 7 and now the Internet icon in the taskbar is the computer monitor with a yellow triangle as opposed to the bars of wireless internet unless I'm connected or trying to connect to the wireless Internet that either says I have limited connectivity or is connected but doesn't work.

I'm having a networking issue that I cannot resolve.My DirecTV HD DVR receiver (HR21-700) shows a working connection to both my network and internet. However, the STB services port (range of 27161-27192) will not connect through my router (linksys E4200) automatically or manually (Dtv error code 301). By connecting the receiver directly to my modem, the STB services port will connect as it should. I also have a XB360 (LAN), BluRay Player (LAN), two PCs, & Wireless Bridge connected with absolutely no issues. Each are manually configured with a static IP and the proper ports forwarded.I am STUMPED and FRUSTRATED to say the least.Other than the manual setup of these devices, my networking knowledge is not very broad.Are there any settings or configurations that I may be overlooking?The uPnP is enabled, NAT is enabled, and all firewalls are turned off.

I have a D-Link DIR-615 router and can't get the internet working and have done everything possible to get it working. the globe light which is the internet light will not turn from amber to green. I have done a factory reset which is why this occurred in the first place. After the reset the globe stayed orange and the internet refused to work now everything is up but the wireless will not work nor the internet I have gone through both the manual set up and set up wizard and tried all options.

I bought this router and ever since my internet connection will drop out for 5 minutes at a time then come back in. This happens on both wifi and the wired connection. The weird part about it is that if there is a program that maintains a constant connection, e.g. xbox live or an online MMO, they don't lose connection when every other device or even tabs within the same browser all lose connection.
BTW It's the REV_B with the 2.07 firmware.

I am connected to my network wirelessly and I have Internet acces (according to the symbol at the bottom right) bu the Internet doesn't work. At the moment it keeps fluctuating between giving me interne and not I am using Skype to tell me if I have Internet ( when it's green I do when it's grey I don't) I have tried many things on forums like obtaining ip automatically or obtaining a fixed ip. I've tried renewing the ip and all this doesnt work.

I have a DIR-655 with both wired and wireless connections. Yesterday, network stopped working on one wired machine while using it to surf the internet and a 2nd wired machine has not worked in 3 weeks after moving it from one room to another. Wireless connections are working fine.
-2 wired systems (Windows 7 and Windows XP), both stopped working
-2 wired Xboxes - working fine
-2 laptops, wireless working fine
-1 smart phone, wireless working fine
I've power cycled my DSL modem and DIR-655 multiple times.Power cycled computer multiple times. Tried Win7 built-in diagnostics.Tried setting up static IPs.Tried filling in preferred DHCP server address.Disabled Windows firewall. [code]

I purchased IPTV set-top box from Dish Network (which in turn uses NeuLion services). The set top box works out of the box with TrendNet TEW-432BRP, however the set top box seems to reboot every time I try to launch a channel.The set top box is connected to LAN port 2/DLink is configured to reserve IP address for the set-top box based on its MAC address. The set top is also within its own DMZ so that it does not interfere with firewall settings.

I was working on the computer and internet just stopped, checked the router and it doesn't show up in air-port pref on my Macbook Pro anymore. It was still on my iPhone, and then a few minutes later disappeared from my iPhones network as well. I've tried hard resetting etc, network name doesn't show up anymore, on ethernet to the modem now but tad uncomfortable sitting on the living room since I have the router and modem in my entertainment center.
All the lights work fine, and it lights up like normal but network went "poof".
Typing in ip of 192.168.0.1 just says google chrome cannot connect to that page. I had to play with my Mac for awhile as it wouldn't connect by ethernet till I figured out I had to uncheck passive FTP from Proxies.

If set the LAN to 1000 duplex I get better throughput than If I set it to Auto 100/1000,but the problem is that then my internet modem stops working,is there a solution to this ?

So I have bought myself a DCS-2121 with firmware 1.05, 4630. Everything works fine except that the camera does not seem to adhere my settings on the snapshots page. At average, it seems that only one image is sent to my FTP-server regardless of the interval parameters.

The scheduled recording or scheduled snapshots is not working. I am running the camera standalone and using the web based configuration, storing the images or avi's on a ftp or samba server.
No matter what i specify, it records when triggered (by motion in my setup). All the other settings like, samba, ftp, video, motion detection, and so on is working fine - but I can't configure it to only record like between 10-16 every day. It records all the time - no matter what I select and what I enter in the schedule scheme.

I have a working wired network and really all I want to do is set up my DIR-655 on it so that it provides internet only for wireless users, but doesn't allow access to the rest of the local network. I though that's what the Guest network would do, but when I connect to that I can still type in local IP addresses and get to those devices.
"Enable Routing Between Zones" is unchecked in the Guest Zone settings.

I was using Remote Desktop between two home computers hard wired through the router and a switch. Now after upgrading to firmware 1.35 I can't get remote desktop to connect. I get an error that I may not have permission, etc. I have the DIR 655 ver A and am running Windows 7 professional on both computers.

We have a D-Link DI-524 wireless router that has had no problems until today. Our laptops (with Windows XP), iPods, and iPhones all show that there is an excellent wireless network connection (as usual), but none of the computers or devices will connect to the Internet. I tried resetting, rebooting, and unplugging the modem and router. The router and modem seem to be fine. When we disconnect the router and plug the laptop directly into modem, we have Internet connection (i.e., it's not the IP).

I'm Using D-Link DIR 600 wireless router with my desktop CPU (Windows XP Professional SP1) using wired connection and Dell laptop (Windows 7 Ultimate) connected wirelessly. My problem is that I am able to access internet on bothsystems but they cannot see each other in network places. I am unable to sharefiles between the them. so I have this problem, the internet only work on one computer, whenever I connect to another computer it says something like: " Can't connect to IP 2, 3, 4 etc. I've tried resetting the modem, router and everything, it didn't work... Sooo, if I connect the same internet cable that's working on the computer to another one it doesen't work. What sholuld I do??, maybe change some settings in the router?

My computer runs bit torrent almost all the time, sometimes when I start Firefox the home page google never loads and neither do any other web pages yet bit torrent is still working as if nothing has changed. If I start a download in Firefox come back to the pc a few hours later Google doesn't load but the Firefox download still continues.What causes this is it DNS ?

I have a modem which is allowing me to go online at home. Unfortunately, the cable that goes with this modem is too short (just 2m).This week, I bought a cable (internet cable) of 24m and I expected to be able to move around while being connected and surf the internet but internet does not work when I am using the new cable. We have tested the cable (using a cable tester) and the cable seems to work fine. When I use back the old cable (which is very short) internet is working perfect.

After running my malware anti-virus and removing all the virus, my Local Area Connection keeps saying network cable unplugged. I checked the network adapters and everything is fine. I have Ver E3, with firmware 5.10. Like it says above, Wireless N is not working. I've already going into Manual Wireless set up and selected Mixed G and N. All of my devices will connect, but only as G devices.I'm reluctant to set it to "N only" for fear that none of my devices will be able to connect.

I have a D-Link wireless adapter (DWL-G122) that I have been trying to install on a Windows XP computer. After various uninstalls and reinstalls of the drivers and programs that come with it, I have found currently the best way to get it to work is leave the D-Link programs uninstalled and have Windows install the driver itself.The problem is, it doesn't seem to keep the drivers on restarting, so every time the computer is restarted, it must be installed again. This is not ideal.It occasionally worked when I installed from the CD, but the D-Link programs that would install with the drivers created problems of their own.

Once every couple of days the wireless service seems to disappear. I've connected to the router from a wired computer and everything looks ok from the d-link panel, however its not showing up as an available wireless network on the wireless units. Pulling the power off for 30 seconds tends to get it working again. I'm configured bg and n. I need a mix... an old B laptop, have one machine that has a G NIC, and the rest are N.

My DIR-655 wireless has stopped working after a few years of flawless operation. It still works for wired operation. I was running Firmware 1.21, tried rebooting, resetting to factory, powered off the unit, etc. without success. Decided to Upgrade to the firmware to 135 NA, still no success. I am in British Columbia on Shaw Cable. On the Status Page under Wireless LAN, the Wireless Radio shows "Init failed".

Wireless is still on also after time set in the schedule is over. I connected to the router through its web page and set wireless on with schedule from 8 am to 9 pm. But wireless is running also after 9 pm. I checked the time settings on the router and they are correct. FW version is 2.01
