D-Link DIR-825 :: Cannot Find Network Monitor Widget For Windows?
Jan 24, 2012I went to Furrynutz link where I never found the direct download lilnk to the widget. I then chatted with a Microsoft representative at the widget page and he linked me to the same Furrynutz's link.
My DIR-825 has the latest firmware, 2.06xx and works flawlessly, even the shareport usb port works without a hitch with a Seagate Expansion 3TB drive connected into it. What I simply would like is the D-Link gadget.

The last couple of years, I've always been checking the firmware version by pushing the "Check Now" button on the web management - it has always responded with "This firmware is the latest version. " I've been researching networking monitoring tools and came across this link: [URL] It requires that you update to the latest firmware - and this time I sued on the on-line link - and it turns out that the firmware version for my device is actually 1.35NA?So... first question is - why does my router tell me that 1.21 is the current version?I'd like the network widget - what are pros/cons of updating from 1.21 to 1.35NA?Have there been fixes to the scheduling portion? - 1.21 cannot handle 24-hour time properly. I also have to reset the router daily - sometimes more often - due to problems when used wirelessly. (Fortunately I try to use wired as much as I can.)

Widget recognizes and display all the config information (LAN, WAN, WiFi) fine, but it does no display any of the speeds (which was the whole idea).

Ive heard of a few pieces of s/w but these require software to be installed on all boxes Id like to be able to monitor from one box if possible ??

Mar 5, 2012I've setup and configured the following local monitor session on a 7606 but it doesnt seem to be outputing anything. Any guess as to why, or what I might be doing wrong? Gi1/1 is doing ~40Mb/s egress & 15Mb/s ingress. Both source and destination ports are routed ports.

I contacted the d-link support and during the process of troubleshooting the problem, the internet connection was also lost. I followed all instructions given to me by d-link teams that spoke with me but the problem was not resolved. I tried to call the d-link support but my calls were ignored . Jun 20, 2011I have a DIR-655 with both wired and wireless connections. Yesterday, network stopped working on one wired machine while using it to surf the internet and a 2nd wired machine has not worked in 3 weeks after moving it from one room to another. Wireless connections are working fine.

The set top box works out of the box with TrendNet TEW-432BRP, however the set top box seems to reboot every time I try to launch a channel.The set top box is connected to LAN port 2/DLink is configured to reserve IP address for the set-top box based on its MAC address. The set top is also within its own DMZ so that it does not interfere with firewall settings.

Oct 16, 2011I was working on the computer and internet just stopped, checked the router and it doesn't show up in air-port pref on my Macbook Pro anymore. It was still on my iPhone, and then a few minutes later disappeared from my iPhones network as well. I've tried hard resetting etc, network name doesn't show up anymore, on ethernet to the modem now but tad uncomfortable sitting on the living room since I have the router and modem in my entertainment center.
All the lights work fine, and it lights up like normal but network went "poof".
Typing in ip of 192.168.0.1 just says google chrome cannot connect to that page. I had to play with my Mac for awhile as it wouldn't connect by ethernet till I figured out I had to uncheck passive FTP from Proxies.

The scheduled recording or scheduled snapshots is not working. I am running the camera standalone and using the web based configuration, storing the images or avi's on a ftp or samba server.
No matter what i specify, it records when triggered (by motion in my setup). All the other settings like, samba, ftp, video, motion detection, and so on is working fine - but I can't configure it to only record like between 10-16 every day. It records all the time - no matter what I select and what I enter in the schedule scheme.

Sep 10, 2012The other day I went to a friends house, came back home, booted up my PC, and my wireless network adapter wasn't working. I've tried everything to fix it.It's a D-Link DWA-525 802.11n Wireless PCI netowrk adapter. On device manager it just says 802.11 Wireless LAN Card with a yellow exclamation next to it. And when I check what the error is, it's either error 31 or 52 at different times, depending what I've tried to do to fix it.I tried downloading the driver for it off the D-Link website, nothing happens at all when I install it. I tried taking it out of my computer and plugging it in. I tried enabling it and disabling it on device manager.I noticed one thing, when it's in my computer the green light at the back that says activity next to it isn't on.
