Low Wireless Speed On Computer

When wired to the router I consistently get 10meg up and down, so the connection itself is fine. When I use wireless on my laptop, I get around 0.1meg down and 10meg up. The router is fine because I still get 10meg up and down testing on my iPhone, and the laptop is fine because I get 8meg up and down on my friend's wireless network. There must be something specific that's incompatible between my laptop and my router. I've already tried changing the channel, used inSSIDer to pick unoccupied channels (4+8) with no occupied channels either side. Using N-only mode, channel bonding, tried protected mode on and off, QoS on and off.
