I receive this WIFI internet connection on my laptops using their respective WIFI adapters, and on my desktop using a GASKY GS-28USB Wireless USB Adapter, and use this internet connection simultaneously in both desktops and laptops.Now, I am shifing to a new 3G USB Mobile Broadband service:
Where I can directly connect the 3G USB Mobile Broadband Stick to my desktop or my laptop and use the internet directly, but not all at once through my router as was previously configured.Is there a way using the existing hardware, can I configure my desktop to share this internet connection and broadcast from the GASKY GS-28USB Wireless Lan Card to the Seimens Gigaset SE568 router and then throughout my house for simultaneous access, or directly share the internet through the GASKY adapter itself, or is there some other configuration I can use ?My Desktop has Windows 7 installed as an operating system.

Jun 13, 2011I've began having problems with the WRV210 where the router just reboots. Sometimes it may go for an hour or more then it slips into a series of reboots. The up time varies so I see no pattern. Contacted support they thought the device may have been defective so we did a RMA. Well guess what? The replacement arrived on Friday we put it in place and the same thing is happening. We are not using any of the VPN or VL options. Just simple PAT to a few internal machines for RDP access and an internal exchange server. The Qos is all disabled. It has the newest firmware which I have reflashed. I'm at a loss to explain the behavior but it doesn't appear to be isolated to a defective device.

Jun 6, 2012I want to update my router as it currently provides poor wireless connectivity. My current router is a Siemens Gigaset SE587 wlan dsl. This supports a 802.11g frequency, though I'd like to update my home network to 802.11n. My concern is this, is it worth buying a new router/hub that supports this frequency if the other devices in my home are still using 802.11g, i.e. Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Laptop etc. Would it be worth instead to purchase a homeplug kit instead?

I'm guessing it's locking up and rebooting as it occurs as different times of the day. Compared to the RV042, this was a bit of a pain to setup especially with regard to port forwarding. I'm hesitant to reset and start over again especially since this is brand new.

I currently have an Airport extreme hooked up to a cable modem and a leviton gateway hooked up to the Airport. The 2 computers connected to the Leviton are on a windows 7 homegroup and share fine, but won't share or discover any wireless device connected to Airport. My main goal is to have a wireless/wired network with all computers sharing information with each other. I want 2-3 wired switches/gateways with a min of 2 devices connected to each, connected to my wireless router whiich is connected to cable modem.

The TV has two modes of setting up access to the Network Neighbourhood DHCP IP (AUTO) and Fix IP (Manual) I can't get either to connect and I suspect I have to change something on the Router.When I select auto setup I get "On: DHCP not ready!" when I set the fixed IP I get "On: Can't get any IP" The TV handbook is no goog, there are 3 things to be set 1) IP address but it does not say IP address of what - Router, Desktop computer or TV. 2) Network mask is no problem. 3) default gateway does not specipy if this should be the IP address of the Router, WAN or desktop computer. I have tried every combination of each and always get the same result. The router has Full internet Gateway Device IGD support enabled.

Apr 6, 2012I just bought an e2500 to replace my WRT54g, hoping that it would fix my call dropping problem. I had tried installing some friend recommended third party firmware on the WRT54g that he said would fix my problem, and with my infinite technological wisdom and experience ended up bricking it.
My problem is that randomly during skype calls with my family back home, I will lose internet connection. It drops the skype call and then I cannot open a web page or anything for about 60 seconds. My internets dead, then it just starts working normally again by itself. I can have anywhere from 60 seconds of connectivity up to 20 minutes or more while skyping. This all happens over a wired connection. Changing the router didn't change a thing, the problem still happens in exactly the same way. I have good bandwidth and all that stuff.Also, I watch netflix on my Xbox 360 over a wireless connection. Sometimes it will just lose connection in the middle of a show. However, the difference is that I can reconnect almost instantly after an interruption on that device. I have fixed the settings on the two different channels according to one of the other post I found in this community, and have not tried those settings out yet. This doesn't worry me as much as the wired connection issues.

Jan 8, 2011I bought it without a a windows installation because i already had a copy of vista 64 cd which I installed when I got the computer. Then I realized vista couldnt handle the amount of ram my computer had or support some of the other new hardware, so i went online and purchased a copy on Windows 7 for 600dollars and digitally downloaded it from a non microsoft site, as it turned out after I installed it the cd validation key was not included in the purchase sadly so I was running it as trial version for 30 days.Anyhow, at some point (and it has been going on for awhile) my router reboots quite frequently when I am online playing games such as Civilization 5 , world of warcraft and CoD on this computer. Sometimes it can reboot up to 3-4 times an hour if I'm really unlucky! When I'm not playing games and just surfing the web it is rare the router restarts, and while I sleep I keep my computer online and it dont reboot at all.
So it is basically when I play online games this occurs the most. However! If I play games online on my laptop or playstation 3 the router -never- reboots, so it's obvious the problem is not the router itself since it works with my ps3 and laptop but not my stationary gaming computer

Apr 6, 2011We've had UVerse for about a year now - but lately we've had weird problems:
-about every 2-4 weeks, the router will spend a night constantly locking up and rebooting itself. ATT says they don't know why, and wanted me to check the power?? When it does this, it will do it for 30 minutes to TWO HOURS.
-every couple of days, the channels will freeze. If we change channels and then back, it returns to normal for a bit. Sometimes for a while, sometimes only for a minute. We have two boxes, each one does it. Even affects DVR playback. Internet doesn't seem to be affected, so I had originally though it was the boxes. ATT has remoted in, and can't find anything out of the ordinary.
