My computer is a ToshibaL500 satellite with vista home premium SP2, i use a Realtek RTL8191SE wireless LAN PCI-E NIC adapter. I tried to connect to a my friends wireless router. My PC can't locate anything and i tried to refresh several times and it didn't worked.I tried to re-activate the adapter and it didn't worked, tried to update it several times manually and auto no use. Tried to fix it with Windows Diagnosis and it said the Windows wireless Service was off so I turned it on, unsuccesefully. The device manager says it workes fine.
Entered in safety mode with net same thing. Did ipconfig/ but i can't post it here because i'm using my friends Pc and it's all Portuguese ,Anyway theres 10 LAN tunnel adaptors all turned off with the discription of 6TO4 Adapter exept (18) with has isatap as the description: Phisical Ip is 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-E0 (6), wich is the teredo tunneling Pseudo-Interface and the 1st one (no number) wich is my internet provider aswell as my friend's one. All Adaptors are DHCP is not activated and Autoconfig is on.
Having a bit of a quandry. I have one laptop, a Toshiba Satellite L500-2H, that seems to get ridiculously slow wireless speeds sometimes. Like, slow to the point of not even being able to load webpages. Or taking way too long to do so. Either it cripples along or can't load outright.sometimes the Toshiba will do exactly what it's supposed to and pull 20 megabits/s on speedtest.net, which is what the others do.
I have a Toshiba Satellite M70-122, running with Windows XP. A few weeks ago, it stopped connecting to my wireless, but it connects to others. I can connect to my wireless with my cellphone, so it might be a problem with the laptop. And I can connect to the internet with the cable. It's just the wireless that doesn't work.
I have a Toshiba Satellite T110 laptop, and I've recently completely wiped the hard drive, with the OS (Windows 7) being wiped along with it. Anyway, I got a new CD for Windows 7 which was burned however, And once installed, I saw I couldn't find any wireless networks at all. It's like as if it's one of those old classic computers that didn't have wireless. So I bought a Windows 7 CD key online from my iPad. But I couldn't use the product key without Internet, so I did the activate by phone thing. After that it said windows has been successfully activated. Which I don't believe it has anyway. Could any of that possibly be related to my problem of not finding any wireless connections? My laptop was perfectly fine before wiping. my network card adapter thing is an Atheros AR8132 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS)
I have been dealt with a very frustrating problem since Friday whilst I was at uni. My wifi completely went AWOL on me. I cannot get it to find any wireless connections within my range and I am absolutely certain there is more then 5 hotspots within my vicinity, so it has nothing to do with my internet/modem. As well as that other laptops in the family are running perfectly.
I have tried many things including: - System restore - Uninstalling, installing the driver - Restored the laptop back to factory settings ( ) - And most of the solutions within these forums

I can't find the correct driver for Belkin F9L1101 Version 1 USB Wireless adapter. When I went here [URL] and installed the software my Windows 7 Pro w/64 bit does not recognize the adapter. When I go to Device Manager it does see the Belkin under other devices. When I choose the folder the drivers are located /program files (x86) it says it can't find the driver in that location.
Here we got Nintendo's support for some D-Link routers[url]...
My D-Link router is DIR-615 and one of those instructions on Nintendo's Support is to chance the TX Rate (Transmission Rate) to the value "2". However I can't find this option, even when I use the Nintendo's Important Note on the right. How I can activate this option or the location for it. I am trying to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to play Pokemon White.
I have wrongly entered a ip address while port forwarding... and my router seems to not be responding.Meaning whenever I put the Default gateway numbers ,my router does not open.
I have Qwest router on 192.168.0.1 but my linksys router is hardwired to that router to provide a stronger signal throughout the house. I can't get to the 192.168.1.1 page through the internet. I need to configue the linksys router. Specifically to forward some ports to/for the XBox360 or at least make sure Upnp is enabled.
Belkin router model FD305v1 no longer being provided any technical support by its Makers. You have to pay for it now. My router went out and first of all it's hard to find any information even on their own website. And if you do you still have to pay them to get it working again
My boss is asking me to write a batch file or use a utility to monitor the uptime of 16 different ISP accounts that we use across several stores. Most stores have several ISP accounts setup as failover, so they're not always active on our network but the ISP should still be up. He would like this to run from one of our servers. He is suggesting the 'gateway' for the ISP however I am not sure how to find this IP. The tracert utility returns IP addresses which are different than the gateway address in our router settings so I am wary to use those IPs.Which IPs would I ping to monitor the uptime and where would be the best place to find them?
I have just upgraded my AIM and Skype messengers and now it won't let me sign in. I did before with my old versions. It is saying that my internet connection is bad which it is not. I have looked up ports in my Yahoo messengers, Control Panel and Bit Torrent still nothing.

I just bought a new Cisco SRP527w and I'm just new on this kind of equipment. I can't locate the user management tab as I'm trying to change the default password. Also, I can't access the internet. My dsl modem rj45 is connected to the WAN/LAN port with IP Static settings.
I can get on the internet and surf just fine but when i go to maps or Gas Buddie, or check in with Facebook it says" my device can not be located. Are location services turned on on the device." I have checked on my ipad and location services are on, on everything. I had no problem with the other router I had. I also have a Sprint Airave connected to my internet, but again i had no problem with the other router. The router is definitely faster than my old one and set up was easy but its very frustrating to not be able to find my location.
