I have an Acer AX3400 (windows 7). I'm trying to install wireless router Netgear WNR3500v2. I did not succeed sofar. Do I have to uninstall NVIDIA drivers first?
View 1 RepliesI have a problem trying to forward ports needed for steam: my connection to internet looks like this Cisco epc3212 cable modem -> netgear wnr3500v2 ->my pc, all via ethernet cable I set up static ip for my pc and forwarded ports in router but after checking results on web port scanners it only changed from timed out to closed. I have no firewalls, neither on my pc or router, i called my isp and they told me they don't block any ports. I have windows 7. After trying dmz all my ports remain closed except for 3389 which is remote access for windows. I.ve been working on this for past few hours and i'm loosing my mind .
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter getting the cable set up (some new wireless modem that comcast gave us) we were able to connect to the internet once, after putting in the password, but after that the next day our computer would not recognize any networks at all, it's just say no connections are available.I already:-restarted computer,-reset modem (we used to have a router and a cable modem but now only the wireless modem)-rolled-back drivers,-disabled then re-enable driver (did NOT uninstall or reinstall)-opened the computer up, take out the adapter, tryed and got the dust off-unscrewed and rescrewed antenna- tested a laptop, and it had an internet connection - and probably a few other things which I can't rememberLast time on the computer, I uninstalled a few things with revo, ran registry cleaner, browsed internet, and installed a new nvidia driver (after the problems arose). I was able to install a netgear wireless usb adapter (which is how I'm on the internet right now), but it frequently gitters and I can't use the NetGear for very long seeing as how a different computer uses it.

I've confirmed that the motherboard network works in WinXP (Intel 82579V Gigabit) and typically the 32-bit Windows XP drivers work on Server 2003 as well. Several of the other drivers have installed just fine, but the network driver install package fails with "No Intel Adapters are present."

When the install starts, it never goes beyond 'Setup is searching for installed components.' On the Drivers page it shows that the hardware is installled.
Device Manager, Hardware shows yellow for Ethernet Controller, Network Controller, PCI Modem, PCI Simple Communications Controller, which indicates to me I don't have the drivers yet.
Can't stop it, except via the Windows Task Manager. When I do that I get a dialog box Titled 'Dell Wireless WLAN Installer, An error occurred while launching the setup. The remote procedure call failed.

I want driver DW5550 for dell latitude E6410 Os windows 7 64 bit.
We have a pair of ACS 4.1 servers (Windows Server 2003 R2). Let's call them ACS1 and ACS2. We don't want either one of them to proxy to any AAA server, including each other. We're using mostly TACACS authentication.
While troubleshooting a general problem, I'm guessing that one of us did this on ACS1:
pressed the Network Configuration button,saw the Proxy Distribution Tableclicked (Default)moved ACS1 from the AAA Servers column to the Forward To column.
So, essentially, we're telling ACS1 to proxy all requests to itself, which doesn't seem to make sense. I don't know for sure whether it should work when configured to "self proxy," but in that state, it does not authenticate anyone and gives merely "Internal error" as the reason.
If I change the configuration so that "ACS2" appears in the Forward To column, and I move "ACS1" back to AAA Servers and restart, ACS1 starts responding correctly to TACACS requests. Of course, ACS1 is just proxying all requests to ACS2, so having two servers isn't doing much good.
I cannot simply remove ACS1 from the Forward To column and leave it empty. The interface complains that it can't forward to zero servers. Of course, on ACS2, there are no servers in the Forward To column, since we never touched the Proxy Distribution Table there.
Is there any way to return the Proxy Distribution Table to its default setup, that is, no servers appear in the "Forward To" column?
We're planning to upgrade to version 4.2 very soon, so this question is mostly academic, unless the same problem exists in 4.2.
For full disclosure, I should mention that the problem we were troubleshooting was loss of connectivity to our Windows Domain Controllers from our ACS servers. We had missed adding some exceptions in our firewalls to allow for four new DCs. As far as we can tell from testing, connectivity to the DCs is now fine. The firewall rules group ACS1 and ACS2 together, so connectivity should be the same, and ACS2 authenticates users correctly.

I tried to install it and was met with an error message: "This installation is not supported on this operating system version. The setup application will exit." The driver I found was C:DELLDRIVERSR140135, I checked the compatibility and it is supposed to be compatible with my system and Windows Vista 32 bit. However, whenever I try to install it, a window pops up instructing me to push Fn+F2 or the Radio on/off switch. Fn+F2 does not work and there is no radio switch. I tried to start over from the beginning, now it's telling my I need Windows Vista to install this driver ... I am using Windows Vista. I checked the Device Manager ... no exlamation points or question marks.

I earlier had windows 7 in which my laptop's bluetooth was working fine. Then i installed windows 8 release preview and even in that bluetooth was working fine. yesterday i installed windows 8 pro with WMC in it and since then the bluetooth isn't working.

- Also observe if it has a yellow mark besides any of the device listed
- Browse through the whole list to check for any other item listed with a yellow mark
- Capture the item with the yellow mark

When I attempt to install R226750. It gets to a point where it tells me to activate bluetooth with the wireless switch. My wireless is always on but even when I toggled it on and off, it did not make a difference.
I also installed the DELL Radio switch patch for turning on my bluetooth and that has not worked. why my machine cannot turn on the bluetooth?
Just FYI - I am trying to install a mouse and printer which I am able to see on other bluetooth devices.

Apparently the driver had already been installed previously but when I booted the computer it didn't acknowledge the existence of the card or drivers. I installed the driver from here[url]... and restarted the computer when prompted (the card was already in the computer). Upon restart the setup was supposed to complete, but it never came up. When I re-ran the setup it just said the driver is already installed.The card still isn't being recognized, scanning for new hardware in the device manager doesn't bring it up. There is an entry for a "Network Controller" with no driver installed, it may be the WMP54G but trying to manually install the driver doesn't work. Windows just says it can't find the driver even when I point the install wizard right to its location.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis afternoon, I plugged in a Belkin bluetooth adapter F8TO16 and paired it with a pair of 7dayshop headphones. Instead of leaving well alone with an old driver, I decided to update the Belkin driver - which went well. However, the Dell 365 Module then reported an error and trouble shooting informed me that it now had a driver error. Windows searched for and found a driver, but could not install it.. I've since downloaded and installed new Dell drivers for it but I still get the same result - can't install driver. (The module was working fine before I up-dated the Belkin driver.)
I figure I now have to un-install the Module and then install an up-dated version. Is this the right way to go and if it is, how do I go about it? I'm using Win7 64 bit on an Inspiron 1750.
