Wifi Password Won't Work?

I was trying to put a password on my wifi and I followed all the steps from this website(using 192.168.2.1) but the password I chose is not working and I am forced to connect to the internet directly. How can I get back to using my wifi?I went to 192.168.2.1, went to Security, chose WAP/WAP2 and AES then I chose a password and a guest password and clicked on Apply changes. Neither the guest nor personal password are working and I can't get into my wifi network. What do I do?

I installed my brand new TP-Link router and both wired and wireless internet connection work perfectly fine. But when I tried to secure the wifi with a password (I followed the instructions on last page of installation guide) I can not connect to the internet any more. After entering the correct password, both iphone and mac-book simply say "unable to join the network". I selected WPA2-PSK-personal as recommended. For now I switched off the security settings, but I live in a building with many neighbours and they are now consuming most of my bandwidth (apparentlyI am surrounded by illegal downloaders

I followed instructions on using 2 routers my master is a netgear wndr4000 and slave is a netgear wgt624 v3 i have dead spot in livingroom so i ran cat 5 cable to plug my smart tv in. I have old router so i was wondering if i could also have wifi in living room so i read thread and it works. Only one problem my router in living room is open and when i put a password on it, it wont let me login. How can i put a password on slave router?

I have windows 7 Ultimate , I have a wired ome network and haev a laptop and WD Live TV Hub on them but when I try and click on teh items under network in explorer it pops up with a enter network password, under which it wants a user name and password.i have added all the usernames and passwords I haev for the pc and the laptop but nothing gets past it.

I tried to set it up on a new dir 655 but the password the roku asks for does not work. I have the latest firmware installed. I tried entering my ssid manually and then the key. I did reset everything and try again. Why is my wireless not working? The ethernet port to my desktop is working fine.

i have a DIR-615 Rev C1, firmware 3.13.
After a reboot my password doesn't work anymore (wich is normal I guess) and all default passwords dont either. Such as ''Password'' or ''Admin''.

As observed ACS 5.x " Change Password on Next Login" Feature does not work with SSH Clients ( tried with X-sheel, Secure CRT, Putty etc...) , however through telnet session to IOS devices, users can change their password on their next login.
1: on ACS 5.x i create a new user & Set " Change password on NExt Login" option.
2: Logged into the device through Telnet & Password can be changed after i authenticate successfully. however the same is not happening when i login to the devices through SSH.
is it because of the fact that SSH is encrypted session ?
Because changing password through a telnet session is not accepted in many fanancial organizations as per PCI Standard.

I have a linksys wrt54gs wireless router (working fine since last 3 years) which connects to the internet fine if there is no password set. However if i set WEP password to protect the wireless connection, i am not able to connect to the wireless connection. Everytime i enter the passphrase, when trying to connect to the wireless network, it refuses to accept the password. I have tried this with 2 laptops (both running windows 7) and both have same issue.

I have an older PC with windows 98 running. I used to have it connected to a modem and a router to get internet access.I recently got a new modem as the old one died and have now Wi-Fi in my home. My newer PC takes advantage of the Wi-Fi but my old PC does not.The new modem does not have a connection for the blue cable (Marked USB in back of modem) that was connecting the old PC to the internet.After reading online I think I need a USB wireless adapter but I am not sure on what I need exactly as my online searches return too much stuff (I went on Ebay).

i recently bought a wifi adapter capable of 300mbps, as apposed to my old 54mbps adapter, and an active 10m extension.
now the extension does power the adapter, but the cpu doesnt seem to recognize the adapter is plugged in, but if i plug the adapter straight into the computer then it all works fine.
other people seem to have no problem at all doing this to achieve better signal.

I have this USB Wifi adapter: NETGEAR WNA3100 [URL] I just bought it and thought it would work, but apparently it is def a Windows 7 problem because I have tried it with these others USB adapters only. My main objective is to create a hotspot for the house wirefree and no triping etc etc
Airlink+ 802.11g 2.0 (old) Works with XP but not on W7 (blinks)
WifiMAX Dongle 802.11g 2.0 (also old) (Sometimes blinks at intervals)
TrendNET TEW-644UB (bought last year) (Light stays on/no longer blinks)
Netgear WNA3100 (arrived just a few hours ago) (I made it blink now with its software)
I have tried(netgear):
-rebooting
-installing/uninstalling drivers
-uninstalling itunes
-Using a W8 procedure for it
-tried using different software
-Some other stuff
I have not tried a HKEY codes for it My biggest problem is that the "Disabled" status is stuck and I cannot re-enable it. If there is a way to override this I would be happy to hear it. Using: Windows7 Ultimate Gigabyte Motherboard/AMD chipset For the only one that is enabled(Airlink) it has some funny stuff on the status like 412 Gbps and doesn't have ipv4/6 connectivity [URL]

I am running windows xp on an old desktop, I am using a wiresless usb adapter to utilize a wifi connection available in the dorms. to connect, i have to enable proxy on the browser I am also using an Ethernet connection via a LAN cable, which does not need a proxy to run
The issue is that although i browse freely using both connections simultaneously by using two different browsers, with the proxy setting enabled in one and disabled in the other, i can not run uTorrent when both connections are enabled. i have to go into network neighbourhood and disable the wifi connection, and only then does downloading start. the university does not allow bit-torrent downloading on the wifi connection so i have to use the ethernet.
