I have the wireless guest access set up in my E4200 flash to the latest firmware. When I connect to the wireless guest network it comes up under the 192.168.33.xx IP address. I can connect fine but it never pops up the browser so that you can type in the guest password. I'm running Windows 7 but I've also noticed the exact same problem under XP.The only thing I can guess is the problem is that I have this acting like an access point and all DHCP requests go to my router. I've basically turned off DHCP on this and plugged the network connection into the switch on the back.
We have a working L2 OOB VG deployment. The NAC agent pops up then says it has granted full access. The issue is about 45 seconds later it pops again then says it has granted full netowrk access. Then it does it again...etc.... The CAM thinks things are fine as it just keeps adding the user to the OUL.
We have a NETGEAR router that we have been using for at least a year now which has not given us any problem. I bought a new laptop yesterday and created a new network on it to establish internet connection for it. Now however, the internet is not working on another laptop or the XBOX 360. The older laptop even says it's connected but the the brower pops up, it just says cannot display webpage. I feel like I've tried every strategy that I know of and it still doesn't work.
My computer connects to the internet but when i try to get it on it pops up webpage cant be displayed. Then when i diagnose the problem it says somethings wrong with my proxy server ive followed the instructions.
Basically i'm an employee of a Pro-Gaming team, and as a Job I stream games live, as well as upload game videos to youtube. I've been encountering a problem for a month or so now and had little success of fixing it, which is costing me quite a lot of money and viewers! Basically, I use a program called Xsplit to stream to a website called Twitch.tv (no-one else i've spoken to has the problem I have). I will randomly disconnect/reconnect instantaneously which puts my stream down for 5-10 seconds at a time, then goes back up again. Ultimately the viewing experience is ruined by this and I am on the verge of being replaced! The problem can occur either once a week or once every minute.. it just does it whenever it wants. I have 200mb/10mb internet so my upload should in theory not be an issue.
Things I have tried and done so far: - Replaced the Ethernet Cables. - Replaced the Routers. - Bought a Network Card to try as opposed to my Motherboard port. - Reformatted my computer and installed a different version of Windows 7 multiple times. - Spoken to Twitch.tv and Xsplit about their programs as well as used multiple versions of the Xsplit client. - Spoken to my ISP who say everything is fine.
I have my ethernet cable hooked up to a WNDR3400 router, and my internet connection will drop for an instant randomly (usually happens at least once every 5 minutes) it then instantly reconnects. The problem is that when i'm downloading stuff, the disconnection will cause the download to fail and i'll have to restart from the beginning (making larger files impossible to download). Also, I have an xbox in the same room connected to the router via wireless. It also has the same issues of dropping and reconnecting and that causes me to get kicked out of live.Interestingly enough, my laptop, connected to the internet via wireless does not experience this issue when used in (or outside of) the room.
Can we block websites and messenger on Cisco ASA 5520 running code 8.2 , we are looking to block facebook.com , yahoo.com , twitter.com , msn messenger, yahoo messenger, google talk and messenger. All Internet traffic from users are passing via the firewall and for 20 users on this site we do not have microsoft ISA or bluecoat.
I have an ASA 5505 and I setup a port with a PC connected to monitor the LAN interface. I see all the traffic from the LAN going out and traffic coming back in no problem. What I do not see the the AOL Instant Messenger traffic at all. I have WireShark on the PC and I filter for AIM traffic and I see nothing.
My BEFSR81 is my primary router and has DHCP turned on. The router's DHCP range is set to accommodate 12 devices. I have three computers wired to it and their Host names (as specified in the set-up of each computer) show up in the router's DHCP device table. I also have two printers (one old Brother HL5250DN laser printer and one new HP Photosmart Premier C410a inkjet printer) connected and there are blanks where the Host name should go. I would like to be able to tell which printer is which when I am looking at the DHCP device table. How can I get a names associated with each printer's IP address in the router's DHCP device table? (The real problem is that the router seems to have both printers at the same IP address (192.168.1.100) and if I can get one of them to change I'd like to know which one it was!)
We are using LMS 3.2.1 with SP1 and Campus Manager 5.2.2.Server runs Windows 2003 R2.Everything runs fine except for User Tracking on two Catalyst 6500 switches running CatOS. These devices are discovered, reachable, SNMP works fine, neighbors seen. But when we try to launch acquisition, the UT utility complains with this error message:"Failed to start acquisition: Device unreachable. Please enter a valid device."When we wanted to add ports via Device Trap Configuration, LMS has fired a different error message: "There are no ports to configure for the selected device(s).Check whether you have selected any router(s)." I have checked the portsData.xml file, which doesn't have any ports included for the two devices: [code] We have tried to exclude / include the switches in the data collection, but that didn't work.
The problem: I need to track a bus from city to city in real time.I'm thinking of a gps device without screen or apps, it only sends the current location to a server. Is this possible? What device can be useful?
I am living on a houseboat, and the home owner where I moor the boat has provided an unsecured wireless network for my internet usage. I have a USB wireless adapter that is mounted on the roof of the boat giving me great reception. I have successfully been using it so far. The problem is... I have a laptop as well and to date I've been unplugging the roof mounted USB adapter from the tower and moving it to the laptop when accessing the internet from the laptop.I'm confident there is some way to run the roof mounted adapter to one machine and allow both machines to use this internet connection, but so far I haven't been able to make it work. When I try to turn on Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) I get an ip error ( "There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network"). I can't make any adjustments to the router, as I don't have access to it.So I have this hardware to work with:A laptop with wireless built in a tower with 2 available wireless adaptors (including the roof mount)A wireless router (but no wired internet connection).
I have an several devices in the household that have USB ports, such as TV's, stereo, etc that I would like to network together & share media from my computer.Due to the setup of the household my only option is to connect the devices with a wireless USB adapter which I haven't yet purchased. The TV & stereo for example will allow mass storage devices connected via USB. If I purchased a wireless usb adapter to connect it to my computer, can I assign a drive/partition to that usb port to share the media? Is there special software that's required to do this?
i would like to share internet from my USB modem purchased from a local mobile communications provider with several other computers. how to achieve this.i will have to purchase a wireless usb router and then attach the internet dongle to it. i need to know what configurations i need to make from there. and can any router work with this usb dongle or is there a specific one that i need to purchase.

I have a wireless network in my house. The only printer in the house is connected to my home office desktop.I have an old HP DeskJet 672 as wells as my old Speed Stream wireless router that has a printer connection port in the back. How can I plug this printer into this wireless router thus making a family shared printer?
I have internet through an ethernet cable. I was trying to use a Thomson ADSL router from O2 to share this ethernet connection wirelessly. I was told this is not possible(can give detail if needed). What is the best and cheapest wireless AP that takes an ethernet input and outputs wireless+ethernet(option) ?I have been looking at LINKYS wrt54g for about 20.
I am using a Belkin router with my laptop (Vista). What I would like to do is connect my desktop machine, also Vista to the router. THe Belkin has 4 ethernet ports in addition to the modem port. So far I have been unable to succeed in making a connection. I am going to get a USB adaptor, but am looking for an interem solution
I am getting internet from my neighbor through a usb wireless nic and have enabled ics on that connection. What i would like to do from here is plug a cable from my wired lan to the internet plug on the wireless router to create a wireless network with internet in the house. The problem seems to be that dhcp cannot give the wireless router an ip address
I have an internet connection that enters my house using a CAT5 cable through RJ45 type socket - Currently I have a desktop that is connected to the Cable - I want to share my internet connection - The desktop should have a cable connection and want to connect a laptop as well which will connect using wireless as well as cable as and when required - I will not be using both computers at all times so do not want to make my desktop a server or the laptop a server.
I want to share files between two computers in my household. One has Windows XP professional and the other has Windows Vista Home Premium. I have a D-Link DIR-300 wireless router, and I set up static IP's for each PC.
i have a wireless usb to get internet on my windows vista laptop...and i need to share internet with other computer with my wireless router so how i can do it ?
Below is how I have established network between my PC and my laptop at home (being novice in networking, it took me few days to achieve the feat). And it is working perfectly. I can easily share files between them.Laptop
IP Address: 192.168.1.4 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.1.2Desktop IP Address: 192.168.1.5 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.1.2ASUS RT-N10+ Router,/b> IP Address: 192.168.1.4 Default Gateway: 192.168.1.2
I have connected the Desktop PC to the router using a LAN cable, and laptop to router over WiFi. Both, PC and laptop are running on Windows 7 OS, are on same HomeGroup, have same username / password. Also, I have connected the Ethernet cable to LAN port 1 of the router.Click here to view a graphical representation of the network. Can't post image here, because I don't have 10 reputation points. Now, what I want is use connect to Internet using a 3G USB modem on one device and share it over the network on the other. I tried Huawei and Micromax 3G USB modem. Both obtain a new IP address whenever I connect to Internet (means they have dynamic IPs). Rest, both have Subnet Mask as 255.255.255.255 and Default Gateway as 0.0.0.0. In that case, I cannot directly share Internet from the modem. Preferred DNS is blank for now in both, laptop and PC.What I am planning to do is to connect to Internet on laptop using the 3G modem and share the Internet connection over laptop's Wi-Fi (as hotspot) using Connectify, which I have done already. That, I suppose, will broadcast a static IP to connect to.Now what I can't figure out is that what changes should I make to the network settings of the router and the PC so that PC connects to the Internet broadcast by Connectify?
I got a friends permission to use their wireless internet. I can only connect in a certain spot in the house. I want to connect wirelessly and then share the connection through the ethernet into MY wireless router, and broadcast through my house.
