I have an HP 6500 that is connected, wired, to our Dell desktop and wireless to our Mac laptop. The color is great on documents from the desktop. However, if I print a document from Word on the Mac the colors are faded. I can print a picture from the picture folder and the color is accurate. It seems the colors are only poor when printing from Word. THis is a major problem since I build ads using Word.

I also have a question about the color of the internet led. The online manual says that it should be blue, but mine is green. All of the other LEDs are blue except the internet one. Not sure if that is an issue or not.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have deployed many 1142 APs on a site.When i have checked color codes , some of thems LEDs are static green which we have expected.But some of them are not giving out any light.But from the controller menu i saw them active and operating. And i can connect that APs but no led is lid.
When i get closer to the AP i saw a Red color which can not be seen from distance (Not Red flashing LED).What the possible error can be ? Is it a factory default mistake or so ?

Architecture:
SIP Provider <----> Cisco 2801 <-----> CUCM 6
Problem:
We are using Cisco 2801 as Voice gateway for CUCM 6. so only one purpose of this router is just receiving calls on sip dial-peer and transfering to internal network.
If you look on access list below, if 'log' words don't present on these 2 lines, access list didn't work. Problem with it is that when I establish call from us or to us I can't hear incomming RPT stream, but other side can hear me. But when I type word 'log' there, everything stars working immediately.

I have an HP laser printer (network printer) plugged into one of the ethernet ports of the E4200. I am able to print and communicate with the printer (via the built-in web interface) for the first few hours after the printer is powered on. After a day or so, however, (when the printer has gone into sleep/power-save mode) I can no longer print or attach to it - it is seen as being offline. The only way around this is to power the printer off and on again.I never had this problem with the E3000 or the (non-Cisco) router before that. I do not see any settings that would cause this to happen.

I do not understand messages. Printing jobs will stay in que until I delete them. I have tried everything.Sometimes printer will not activate. Once I get it to activate it will deactivate and then I have to go through the process again. I become frustrated and will try again the nexr day. What can I do? It is a wireless network connection.

What I get is an error message that the printer is offline -- which it isn't; it's on. I tried going thru the setup on the printer, re-entering the SSID, and it said it was connected. Still same error that it's offline.
About a month ago, I did change the name of my router, but it never cause a problem with printing from my desktop, which I can still do. It's just the laptop that gets the "offline" error.What do I need to do to make the laptop recognize that the printer is on?

View 1 Replies View Related3 Computers 2 using vista - 1 using XP. Printer is a HP 2727nf. Will work for a couple of jobs then receives an error code and will not print anymore for any computer. Only a hard reset of turning the printer off and clearing out the queue will print the job that was getting stuck. Wondering if anything can be done so error code won't show up and we can get this printer to run smooth again. PS we have another HP printer that works fine on the network.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased an Epson XP-205 Wi-Fi printer, and I set it up on my network and installed the drivers to my laptop, initially I could print over the network, but since a restart I can't. I have tried an uninstall and reinstall of the printer, but to no avail and if it matters, I'm running W7 64-bit.
I've ensured the printing programs are part of my firewall exclusion rules, and I can access the printers set up page via 192.168.1.3, also as expected, the printer is "pingable". On top of this my Android tablet is able to send things to the printer, so I'm sure it is an issue with my laptop.
I just picked up the E3200 and love it. This morning I hooked up my printer via the USB. Everything went smooth until I tried to print something. I thought nothing was happening, but I let it sit for a while. While I was waiting, I was messing around with my network setting in windows. I realized that my network had been set to 'work' for some reason, so I changed it to 'home'. As soon as I did, my printer spit out my test page. (probably 5 min after sending the doc.) I don't know if it was just coincidence or what, so I sent another page and nothing happened (yet).
Is this common to take that long? Is there a way to speed this up?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy environment has a Cisco 3560G switch which does DHCP with a VLAN for wireless clients, connected to this switch is a Cisco WLC4402 to manage all wireless access points which are Cisco 1130 and 1140 series. We recently purchased an HP LaserJet pro CP1525nw color printer which we have connected with an Ethernet cable to the Cisco switch on a port in the same VLAN as the wireless clients. The printer will pick up a valid IP address from the switch and if I connect a laptop with an Ethernet cable to the switch I can ping the IP of the printer and print to it once I install the driver, if I unplug the laptop from the switch and go over the wireless my laptop gets an IP in the same range as the printer and I can ping the printer IP address as well as open the web interface for the printer but cannot print, once I open the print queue on my laptop I see error printing and nothing prints out. I always add the printer as an IP port and supply the IP address when I install the driver to test. I have also gone through the manual for the WLC4402 but did not find anything for printing. There has to be a setting on the controller that is preventing me from printing but I don't know what it could be. On the laptop I use to test I also installed LPR and LPD and I even tried using another printer that I know works fine in its place and still could not print, so I don't think it's the printer.
