Cannot Print From Laptop Through Wireless Router

They've been networked together for over a year now,but all of a sudden,I can't get the printer to print from the laptop,but it still prints from the desktop. I re did the network wizard on both computers,and the add a printer step, but it didn't work. I also re installed the printer drivers on the laptop,but again it didn't work. When i click on the print icon,it acts like it's going to print,but I get "Printer not responding" and " Document failed to print" messages. The desktop is running Windows XP Home SP3,and the laptop is running Windows XP Professional SP3. The router is a Netgear WNR1000.

I have a CanonPIXMA iP4000 printer connected to my 64bit VISTA PC via a USB cable. My XP laptop is connected via a Router to the PC. I cannot share my printer between the two. My Laptop says that the drivers are,nt loaded, even though they are installed. I used to be able to share the printer before, until I had a virus on the laptop, and I had the operarating system deleted and then installed.

I recently purchased an Epson XP-205 Wi-Fi printer, and I set it up on my network and installed the drivers to my laptop, initially I could print over the network, but since a restart I can't. I have tried an uninstall and reinstall of the printer, but to no avail and if it matters, I'm running W7 64-bit.
I've ensured the printing programs are part of my firewall exclusion rules, and I can access the printers set up page via 192.168.1.3, also as expected, the printer is "pingable". On top of this my Android tablet is able to send things to the printer, so I'm sure it is an issue with my laptop.

My environment has a Cisco 3560G switch which does DHCP with a VLAN for wireless clients, connected to this switch is a Cisco WLC4402 to manage all wireless access points which are Cisco 1130 and 1140 series. We recently purchased an HP LaserJet pro CP1525nw color printer which we have connected with an Ethernet cable to the Cisco switch on a port in the same VLAN as the wireless clients. The printer will pick up a valid IP address from the switch and if I connect a laptop with an Ethernet cable to the switch I can ping the IP of the printer and print to it once I install the driver, if I unplug the laptop from the switch and go over the wireless my laptop gets an IP in the same range as the printer and I can ping the printer IP address as well as open the web interface for the printer but cannot print, once I open the print queue on my laptop I see error printing and nothing prints out. I always add the printer as an IP port and supply the IP address when I install the driver to test. I have also gone through the manual for the WLC4402 but did not find anything for printing. There has to be a setting on the controller that is preventing me from printing but I don't know what it could be. On the laptop I use to test I also installed LPR and LPD and I even tried using another printer that I know works fine in its place and still could not print, so I don't think it's the printer.

I have a laser printer that's connected to a desktop running Win 7. The printer is set to SHARE. I got a laptop that I want to print from through the desktop. Is this possible? The printer is not wireless and I don't have a print server. I have wireless network running on my Linksys router, but the desktop and the printer are not on it.I have the desktop and laptop on the same WORKGROUP, but when I try to add the printer on the laptop by selecting a NETWORKED PRINTER option, I get an error.

How can I get my laptop to print into my home printer.Laptop 1 is now located somewhere (not at home) and connected to the internet wirelessly through a building's free wifi.I have Laptop 2 at home. I'm using Laptop 2 to remote control Laptop 1 using Team Viewer 7. I tried to print into the home printer from Laptop 1, but an error message pop up saying Printer is offline.If Laptop 1 is at home it can print to the home printer, no problem. So, how can I get Laptop 1 to print remotely from its current location to the home printer using Laptop 2 as my way of remote controlling Laptop 1? We have a new building coming online. It is a layer 3 connection (OSPF) between our core and this building. I have a handful of VLANs configured at this building (using VTP) and I'm having a problem with only 1 of them (the printer VLAN).From the print server (a virtual machine who's host is directly attached to our core switch - a Cisco 6509), I can NOT ping any of the printers at the remote building. But I can ping the gateway for that vlan (which is on the L3 switch/router for the building - a Cisco 3750X).However, if I put a laptop on that vlan at the building, I can ping the print server as well as the other printers.
I ran a traceroute from the print server to the printer's IP address and after hitting the building's router, the requests just started timing out.
I double, triple, and quadruple checked the laptop and printer configurations. In my troubleshooting,I even created a DHCP scope and added the ip helper-address to the interface vlan. My laptop, connected to a switchport on that vlan received the IP address, DNS server info, etc. from the DHCP server (which is on the same vlan as the print server). From my laptop, I could get to all of our internal web servers. I configured the firewall to allow that IP range internet access, and had full internet access on my laptop.But still, I could not ping my laptop or the printers from the print server.
No change in the traceroute.
I then created a vlan interface on the access layer switch (a stack of Cisco 2690Ss) that the printers and my laptop were connected to.From the print server I *could* successfully ping that vlan interface.Traceroute went right to it (3 hops from print server - core switch, router at building, vlan interface on distribution switch).But I could still not ping the laptop or any printers from the print server.
I even wiped out all config related to this vlan - the vlan interfaces on the distribution switch and the L3 switch, deleted the vlan itself, the router network statement, etc. Then rebuilt it all over again.Same results. I've compared every line of config for this vlan to other vlans where this problem is NOT occurring and can find no difference.

I just picked up the E3200 and love it. This morning I hooked up my printer via the USB. Everything went smooth until I tried to print something. I thought nothing was happening, but I let it sit for a while. While I was waiting, I was messing around with my network setting in windows. I realized that my network had been set to 'work' for some reason, so I changed it to 'home'. As soon as I did, my printer spit out my test page. (probably 5 min after sending the doc.) I don't know if it was just coincidence or what, so I sent another page and nothing happened (yet).
Is this common to take that long? Is there a way to speed this up?

I have a simple question; Does the E4200 have a print server built into it? I have a usb printer that I want to attach to the router so multiple computers can print to it. Trying to connect one computer to the internet using a USB Verizon Pantech modem and at the same time connect to printer wirelessly through a Linksys router. We are able to connect to one or the other and can print when connected to the home network or we can surf when connected to the Pantech. We can connect to both networks at the same time, but when we do we can neither print or surf.. It cannot find the printer and does not access the internet at all. Is it possible to do this without buying additional hardware

I can get regarding using the Collobos Fingerprint software through my WRT150N router. I'm using Windows XP SP3 and immediatly after installing (which went extreamy well) it immediatly found and listed all of my home network printers. All of the wired and wireless windows based systems in my house can see and print to the printers without any problem. However, getting ANY of my apple devices (iPad, iPhone etc ) to print will not even show them as listed on the device when I select print on the devices. Collobos says that I have to make sure that Ports UDP 5353 doe Bonjour and TCP 6361 for FingerPrint need to be open both ways for it to work, I have no problem getting into the router settings and have set them up as stated above in Port Range Triggering and enabled. Also made sure Filter Multicast was not check marked in Security. Unfortunatly, that doesn't seem to work as I had hoped.

I have an HP LJ4050 plugged right into one of the open LAN ports on my E4200 with a CAT6 cable. Can this router work as a LAN print server? I can't pull up the IP on a browser window or ping it successfully.The 4050 doesn't have USB capability and I don't want to use the parallel port on my PC unless I have to.If possible, I'd like to have wireless computers on the network be able to print to it as well.

I have been using the Wireless G broadband router WRT54GL for about a year now. Recently we bought HP laserjet network printer which is connected to the domain network with the ip range of 10.1.1.1 which is the same network linksys router is connected to. Since router always lease different range of ip (192.168.1.1) then all computers connected through router cannot print because they are in different network/ip range.is there a way allow wireless user to print to the same printer regardless of the ip difference?

After I had Prism high speed internet installed (made by Cisco) and I can no longer print using my Dell V313s Wireless printer. I have lost the driver disc that came with the printer and Dell wants to charge me a large fee for support and Prism states that they are not responsible for the printer not talking to the computer.

Since installing my WRT160N my printers have stopped working. All printer drivers have been removed including acrobat and my fax.
Even if I try reinstalling my drivers, I get the following error: Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Prior to this error my firewall was giving me constant warnings about Pure Networks Admin assistant application trying to access the same files(i.e. nmctxth.exe). Even though I allowed it still kept popping up.
I am using the online armor firewall on a Windows XP system. I cannot access the LinkSys Advisor anymore as it will not start.

I recently bought an E3000 to replace my failed WRT54G v5. With the E3000 I can't get my shared Windows folders to be accessed from my other PCs. I called telephone support and they informed me that the E3000 doesn't support file & printer sharing. WTH? Is this true? If so, I'm going to return the E3000 and get my money back. But I never heard of a router not supporting file & printer sharing. My WRT54G handled it just fine.

At home, I have two desktops (bedroom and living room), a bedroom printer, and a WRT120N router. The bedroom desktop is connected to the WRT120N route and the printer is connected to the bedroom desktop. The living room desktop is connected to the WRT120N route. I can print from the bedroom desktop, but cannot figure out how to print from the living room desktop.
