Nov 30, 2011I have Dell Vostro 1015. It came with Window XP SP3 back in Oct 2009 (It was in free DOS Mode). In October this year, I installed Window 7 Home Premuim 32-bit SP1. Bluetooth was working fine until I updated the drivers for Windows 7 from Dell website. Upon installing the latest bluetooth driver, it won't get switced on even after pressing Fn+F11. When I tried to reinstall it pops out "Switch on Bluetooth" message several times, but as usual fails to switch on.

Jan 28, 2010I have been having problems with my Bluetooth device since I bought my laptop. I downloaded the Toshiba Stacking and all possible drivers that suit my computer, but I get the feeling that it could not connect with the hardware itself. I am using Windows 7. When I try to fix the problem, the program opens a window 'Activate Bluetooth by Fn + F2 or Radio On/Off button.' ot something. With the Fn + F2 keys there is no effect and where to switch on or off the radio. By the way, the Bluetooth light on my laptop is on all the time

Oct 19, 2012I have: ASUS Netbook with Windows 7 Starter.
As of last night, I cannot connect to any of the wireless networks I use every day (my personal home network or my school's WPA2).
The signal strength is very good, but it says "Limited Access" next to the network name. Apparently "Limited" means "No" because I am not connected. Here's what happened:Lavasoft Ad-Aware was blocking a site that I needed to access. I haven't used Ad-Aware in months, and it did not even appear to be running. So uninstalled it with Add/Remove programs in the control panel. BUT, mid-way through the uninstallation, I got a blue screen and my computer restarted. When my computer booted back up, I could no longer connect to my home's wireless. I'm at school now and I cannot connect here either. Ad-aware is gone from the add/remove programs list, but there is still an Ad-Aware folder in Program Files. The folder still has a bunch of stuff in it, including adaware.exe. I dont see an uninstaller (but i havent really investigated that yet). so now i can't connect to any network. Here's What I've TriedRan troubleshooter. Useless. Turned off my netbook's wireless. turned it back on. Device manager says my Network Adapters are working fine. No yellow or red icons next to them. also tried resetting stuff with the command prompt. something about winsock and netsh. I don't know what I was doing though. just following instructions from other people on yahoo answers when i googled the problem.

Sep 14, 2012I have an ASUS G71gx laptop with Windows Vista 64 bit. I noticed upon start up my wireless connection would not automatically connect. I hit diagnose and repair, and it stated that I did not have wireless connectivity turned on. I tried flipping the wireless switch on and off a few times to no avail. When I would turn it on and off, the blue LED light was OFF. Also, each time I switched it on and off, it said on the screen that the wireless LAN adapter was OFF (even if the switch was turned on). Then, I restarted the windows explorer bar a few times as well as flip the switch again. This time, the blue LED turned ON. However, the internet was still turned off. I hit diagnose and repair again and it said the same thing as previously stated. It gave me the option to repair it by turning on wireless compatibility/connectivity, so I hit that. After that it turned on and I could use it with no problem.

Oct 5, 2012I recently moved into a larger 2 story house, and for the first few months I was using a Linksys E1000 I've had for about 2 years now. It's a fine single band router, but the people upstairs and the xbox/PS3 in the living room didnt have the strongest connection.
I shopped around and finally got a ASUS RT-N66U for a really good, strong dual band router that would supposedly give better range and performance than my old E1000.
Unfortunately, since I got it everyone is having issues they never had before, namely:Signal dropping all around the house and having to search for the network much slower performance than before the xbox/PS3 cant hold a stable connection even for a few minutes now, when before you could watch Netflix HD programs easily
I've upgraded the Firmware to 3.0.0.3.178 since I heard earlier firmwares had issues, but other than that and opening my ports for qTorrent it is relatively stock settings.
