i am unable to setup a Bluetooth connection between my nokia phone and my Dell inspiron N 4500. I am currently using windows 7 and the bluetooth icon in the Device manager window is unavailable.
I'm working on a project in which we have to transfer our mobile phone calls via internet and our mobile should be connected to pc via bluetooth. This is pretty easy at dialer's end but how to recieve the call via internet on some pc and direct it to the reciever via bluetooth.
I have a new problem with my dell inspiron n5010 laptop. I use windows7 32bit already and I didn't have any problem with that (Bluetooth), but now I use windows7 64bit and install all update drivers successfully and my Bluetooth working but after 1 day or shorter my Bluetooth not working although It is installed on my laptop and I can see it's Icon in system tray and I see in control panel and device manager that is Installed on my laptop successfully and all Bluetooth setting is checked and It is OK and also I can receive file from other device to my laptop but I can't send, because I don't have Bluetooth Icon in right-click (send to). If I reinstall the Bluetooth driver It works 1 day or shorter again! and after it don't working again! I reinstall my windows7 64bit again and again and install all drivers successfully again but this problem appear all the time. I am sure my drivers are last version and up to date. how can I solve this problem and see Bluetooth choise in Right-Click when I want to send a file. Note that I can receive files but I can't SEND!
I have problem with Bluetooth on my Inspiron 7520. I can connect my mobile phone and my laptop together with Bluetooth, but when I try to send a file from laptop to mobile phone, I get error that sending is not possible.
I see in my Device Manager this: Generic Bluetooth Adapter, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and then 2 unknown Bluetooth devices. I guess I have wrong drivers, but there are so many drivers in download section for Inspiron 7520, that I don§t know which one to use. My OS is W7.
I've got clients using the Cisco VPN Client (version 5.0.07.0290), and an ASA 5520 set up as the endpoint. 99% of the time this works great, so I'm pretty confident with the config, but there is one specific user who is having a problem (although sometimes it works ok for him). This user is connecting to the internet through a 3G dongle, and then trying to VPN in. I can see the connection being established, RADIUS authenticating his credentials, and the tunnel being set up without issue.
No data seems to pass through the tunnel however. Lots of packets are sent, but none are ever received back. Looking at the VPN statistics on the client, I can see that Transparent Tunneling is inactive, so I'm presuming I've got a NAT issue somewhere. The output of sh vpn-sessiondb remote seems to confirm this (user 1 is the problem user, user 2 works fine):
Username : user1 Index : 1332 Assigned IP : 172.17.47.191 Public IP : xxxx Protocol : IKE IPsec License : IPsec Encryption : AES128 AES256 Hashing : SHA1 Bytes Tx : 0 Bytes Rx : 0 Group Policy : Tunnel-Group-1 Tunnel Group : Tunnel-Group-1 Login Time : 06:18:57 UTC Tue Nov 22 2011 Duration : 0h:14m:41s Inactivity : 0h:00m:00s NAC Result : Unknown VLAN Mapping : N/A VLAN : none
As you can see, for the problem user, just plain IKE IPSec is negotiated, without NAT-T.

I recently bought your router and I am trying to install it.The problem that I get is that when the router tries to get the dynamic IP from my provider, it gets nothing.I have typed in the DNS servers but no go. Without the router, my uplink works fine. The provider does not lock onto a specific MAC adress.
I am in the process of switching firewalls. Currently I have a Sonic Firewall inplace. I have been tasked to switch the firewall out with a cisco asa firewall 5510. The sonic firewall currently allows email traffic, web traffic, and dns traffic. When I use the current config below on the asa I am unable to receive email from the outside network. I can send and browse websites but I cannot receive email.
ASA Version 9.1(1) ! hostname ciscoasa enable password kdkfdjdjflkadjdsfj
Yesterday, I installed the N450 DB and it was probably the easiest install I've ever had to do. One problem though, I can now no longer send or receive email thru Outlook Express 6. Keep getting this message 'The host 'mail' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'mail', Server: 'mail', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D'.
I am facing a problem that I can not browse the websites (or receive POP emails, but I can send emails) via the DSL router CISCO1941/K9, the DHCP is configured at the Switch (not on this router) and actually the PCs are able to do a ping for the hosts (like [URL] and so on) but they can not browse !!
Below is my DSL router configuration if u would to give a look

If all Latitude E5420 laptops have bluetooth? I cannot seem to find bluetooth on my laptop Latitude E5420. If they all have bluetooth, how can I find it, I do not see in my device manager.
I had bought this Vostro 5460 less than 2 weeks, and while i try to connect my mobile via bluetooth to the laptop, i get error message unable to connect shown in my mobile. I did try to paired the laptop and mobile devices, after i key in the same code in my mobile when i got the pairing request from the laptop, its successful to paired but failed to connect. I can see my mobile device shown on my PC Setting (Devices). I am able to send file from the laptop to mobile, but i am not able to send file from the mobile to laptop as its keep showing "unable to connect".
FYI, due to space bar and touch pad issue, i had requested to change the keyboard. Hence, all the parts had been taken out and re-installed before.

1. I even checked in the BIOS....internal bluetooth is enabled. 2. I tired to install the driver by downloading it fromURL 3. I even tried to this method
Access device manager
- Click ‘Start’, and then click ‘Control Panel’ - Click ‘Hardware and Sound’ - Click ‘Device Manager’ - ‘User Account Control’ dialog box appears. - Click ‘Continue’ - Device Manager Page opens up. - Locate a category called ‘Bluetooth Radios’ - If not found, locate ‘Network Adapter’ - Also observe if it has a yellow mark besides any of the device listed - Browse through the whole list to check for any other item listed with a yellow mark - Capture the item with the yellow mark
4. I even tried this method
- Click the following link to download the most updated driver for the Bluetooth: [URL] - Save the folder (zipped folder) on the 'Desktop screen' - Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R241623.exe - The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or unzip to C:DELLDRIVERS - Click Ok - After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor window is still open, close it - Open the following path: C:dellDrivers31N70Win64 (Follow steps mentioned below) - Click 'Computer' and drive letter 'C' - Locate folder 'dell' and double click it - Locate folder 'Drivers' and double click it - Locate folder '31N70' - Locate folder 'Win64' and double click it - Locate file Inst (Refer to the image below) - Right click file 'Inst'- Click 'Run as an administrator' - Click 'Yes' to continue if prompted with 'User access control' message - Follow through with the installation as per the screen instructions - Finish the installation and check for the Bluetooth functionality - If issue persists, try using the 'setup' file to install drivers in compatibility mode (Next Step)
Install 'Setup.exe' file in 'compatibility Mode'
- Navigate to C:dellDrivers31N70Win64 - Right click ‘Setup’ file and click ‘Properties’ - Click “Install in compatibility mode’ - Click on Application and select ‘Troubleshoot Compatibility’ - Next, click on ‘Troubleshoot Program’ - Click on Program worked in earlier versions of Windows - Click on ‘Windows 7’ - Click on ‘Start the Program’ - Do not hit ‘Next’ until the installation completes - Once the installation completes, click on ‘Next
I have a server with two adapters: 192.168.1.200 and 10.99.1.200, 10.99.1.200 connects to a cisco router 10.99.1.254 (which I have no access to). This connects via WAN to another network to transfer files to another company. 192.168.1.200 is connected to our local LAN. I have a service that uses FTP to get and send files to a server through 10.99.1.200. I recently had to switch our IP scheme from 10.99 to 192.168 and since then haven't been able to send files to the ftp server. My question is, would a router solve my problem? If so, would I; remove the 10.99 adapter, connect 192.168 to the router, connect the router to the switch, connect the 10.99 gateway to the new router (and update any appropriate routing tables on the server)? The service appears to have issues with using a dual homed server and updating it isn't going to happen anytime soon.
I have a Studio 1440 64-bit system that came with Vista installed. I upgraded to Windows 7 soon after. With both these versions the bluetooth was working fine. My computer got a virus and I had to re-install everything. Now my Bluetooth is unable to detect any bluetooth devices. I have the latest driver for the Dell Wireless Bluetoothe 365 module. When installing it says that it is looking for bluetooth devices but none are discoverable even though I have a Microsoft Bluetooth notebook 5000 mouse and a smartphone with bluetooth that are in discovery mode.I know the devices are discoverable because they are discovered on my wife's computer which is also a studio 1440.
I have a dell studio 1555 and i im not able to install bluetooth setup. While installing bluetooth setup a message will be shown by saying "switch on the wireless" but in my laptop there is no switch of wifi near hdmi port.
I just installed Windows 7 on my M1530, and everything works flawlessly...EXCEPT bluetooth. I downloaded the drivers from the dell website (for vista 32bit), but when I try to install it says "Press Fn+F2 or turn on the wireless switch". The wireless switch is already on, and I press Fn+F2, but to no avail. It worked fine on Vista Home Premium 32bit. I tried running the install file in compatibility mode too, to no avail. how to make it work?
I have a small home network set up: desktop, wireless router, printer, netbook, two set-top boxes, visiting(!) laptops. Until recently, it worked fine, then two things happened.
1 - everything on the Internet went VERY slow and call to my ISP resulted in a new router.
2 - I also subscribed to McAfee Home Protect through my ISP rather than ther free AVG.
Since then, I have been unable to share the files on my desktop with my netbook; it can not see them on My Network Places.
Using D-Link DIR 600 wireless router with my desktop CPU (Windows XP Professional SP1) using wired connection and Dell laptop (Windows 7 Ultimate) connected wirelessly. My problem is that I am able to access internet on both systems but they cannot see each other in network places. I am unable to share files between the them. I have tried all the procedures mentioned in many forums but still not able to find a solution. I use Kaspersky Internet security and made chages to my firewall as per the instructions from their support forum.
I am unable to access files or folders wirelessly between my 2 laptops both running Vista. Both machines can see each other. I can access files with a wired connection. When using wireless I get error message 0x8007035
I have a desktop computer, Sony VAIO laptop, and a Motorola router. The computers are both running Windows 7 Professional. The desktop computer is running 32 bit Windows and the Laptop 64 bit.
My network appears to be Windows Homegroup which got setup after a crash of the desktop. Previously, I ran a network setup with Motorolas tech support and it ran fine (before crash and reinstall on desktop computer). I had access back and forth between both computers. I would rather not run Windows Homegroup but it looks like I am stuck with it if there is no way to remove it and resinstall another network or unless I can have two networks on my computer.
The error message that I get when trying access my laptop from the desktop is
"Windows cannot access \name-VAIOackups You do not have permission to access \name-VAIOackups"
I have set file sharing on both computers and am running all files as administrator. How can I regain access between these computers?
I have to sites connected togather using 4 MBps Link over the tunnel terminated on asa 5510,the call manager in site 1 and the other users on the site 2 unable to register with call mamager on site while i have a suceesull ping goes from site 2 to site 1 (call manager ip) so why this phone its not registered ,so in term of network no problems coz the ping gets through and am rely on ping to confirm that no network problem
----is there any udp traffic problem that prevent the phone registration
I have a desktop (winXP) and a laptop (Win Vista) connected to a E1000 router. When they are both connected to the E1000 via cat 5 cable I can share files and directorys with no problems. When I connect the laptop via WiFi I am unable to share files. In fact I cannot ping the laptop from the desktop or the desktop from the laptop. It is like the AP Isolation is on but I have checked that setting and it is off.
I'm unable to maintain a connection with an FTP host outside my network through my Cisco 871W Wireless/Wired router. I am able to establish a connection with the external FTP server, but when I attempt to transmit files I get repeated disconnections and failures.
The software running on the device is IOS C870-ADVSECURITYK9-M, Version 12.3(8)YI2 RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1) Synched to technology version 12.3(10.3)T2 System Bootstrap Version 12.3(8r)YI
I know it has to be somewhere in the configuration, but SDM no longer operates and I'm not entirely familiar with the IOS command set. When I remove the Cisco device and plug my computer directly into my ISP network, I am able to send files via FTP with no problems.
I have a user that is trying to save an excel speadsheet that is located in a shared folder on a server, the user can open the file and edit ok but when they try to save the file the progress bar pops up but just hangs then a message pops up to saying "file not saved". They are using Windows 7.The user is new and I have just set up their account so thought it might be permission issues but I have logged the user in on two other different machines (1 win7 and 1 WinXP) and they have no problem at all.
