Belkin Routers :: Unable To Send Or Receive Email After Installing N450?

Yesterday, I installed the N450 DB and it was probably the easiest install I've ever had to do. One problem though, I can now no longer send or receive email thru Outlook Express 6. Keep getting this message 'The host 'mail' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'mail', Server: 'mail', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D'.
Mail in yahoo alwaysworked until recent Sunday . Now can receive email but not send in yahoo Yet a sent copy is saved in my sent box. but my recepients do not get the mail
We are upgrading from a Pix 515e to a ASA 5510 with CSC SSM. We cannot send outbound email or receive any email from the outside world. I have placed a call with Cisco Support with no luck. [code]
I am having almost an Identical issue. It seems that I can do anything I want on the internet, but the second I open hotmail all the problems start. Issues occur on both FF and IE. As with you I am able to continue to get some information on sites that are currently open (for example I will get incoming IMs, although I cannot send replys, and my stream on facebook continues to update). Once this happens I cannot open any new webpage or use the wireless on ANY other device in my house (iphones and printer); wired devices seem to have no issues. I have done everything as far as resetting, updating firmware etc to my router with no luck. I have a netgear dual band router, computers with Windows 7 64bit. It seems that accessing Hotmail on the iphones does not trigger the same issue...
I am in the process of switching firewalls. Currently I have a Sonic Firewall inplace. I have been tasked to switch the firewall out with a cisco asa firewall 5510. The sonic firewall currently allows email traffic, web traffic, and dns traffic. When I use the current config below on the asa I am unable to receive email from the outside network. I can send and browse websites but I cannot receive email.

My Belkin N450 assigns a 192.168.169.2 for an IP address. This does not allow me to add to the DMZ to bypass firewall and open my NAT. It wants a 192.168.2.__. What do I need to do to make this happen?
just upgraded to a Linksys EA4500 wireless router at my small office from an old Netgear. My email now wont send messages out on either my IPhone or my laptop(Toshiba) while using the wireless network. If I turn off Wi-Fi on my IPhone, my email immediately sends the messages. What settings do I need to change? I have Comcast internet and one IMAP email account and one "Yahoo" email account

Belkin N450 Router. I want to restrict Internet access completely but allow LAN access to a shared drive for a particular computer on my wireless network. I have gone into the web based set up page and under access controls have enabled and added this computer to the list. I have blocked http, https, ftp and nntp. I don't know if this is enough. The reason I am asking is that I am in Iraq right now and I want to allow my fellow team members access to the wireless for using viber on their iphones but one cat even though he has hardwired internet wants to continuously suck off my wireless for his computer to download stuff since I paid for faster internet. I am trying to do this quietly and still allow him access to the shared drives on the LAN. Sooooo If I block him just outright will he still have access to the drives or do I need to pick and choose like I did above and if I need to pick and choose did I miss anything other then pop3 email and imap?
This model is FK91105v1. It is great with our ten different devices (possibly even a dozen?), but it continues to disconnect a Kindle Fire - that used to connect with no problem - evidently upon acquisition of a newer Kindle Fire. As long as MAC Filtering is not enabled, then there shouldn't be an issue of a "white list" - which the Kindle manual suggests as a solution ("If ... filtering is enabled, ensure your Kindle's MAC address is added to your router's white list in your network settings"). (I did figure out how to go to the network address, but was mostly flumoxed from there)
Without my N 450 router hooked up I am getting hardwired speeds of 50/5 mb, but with N 450 hardwired into my PC the speeds drop to 20/5 mb. I have checked DHCP and I am not getting piggy backed. Is it a bottlekneck, misconfigured or just not compatible with Time Warner?
It took a while of troubleshooting since I've never ran into this problem with my wireless router before. But finally I figured out that my router will not assign the proper DNS server addresses when assigning through DHCP. I upgraded from 2.10.02 and still the same issue.
I have a RV220W (running fw version 1.0.2.4) that i am trying to configure for a client. They are set up on Comcast with 13 available IP's. I should note that this netowrk is now currently running without issue using a Cisco Pix 506e. Unfortunately, the Pix is almost impossible to configure using the GUI now as I have to load a 4-year old version of Java now just to get the PDM to load. But I digress.I've set up the RV using the identical settings as the Pix on bth the LAN and WAN side. When I do, computers on the LAN side can all reach the Internet ok. However, once I enable one-to-one NAT for an internal server, that machine can't send or receive ANY traffic to the WAN side. I've even tried setting access rules enabling ANY traffic in both directions, and that has no effect. Either I'm missing something, or this is just one more bug in this product.
Even though it was a bit of a step down going from the Pix to the RV220W, it was done for the ease of setting up VPN's as I was ready to purchase a second one for a new satellite office opening in a few weeks. It looks like we will be switching vendors on the router side as my faith in Cisco is waning at this point.
I have a N450DB wireless N Router model number F9K1105 and I'm connected to the internet with an occasional interuption. The light on the front of the router is blinking orange and I have reset it and powered it down several times with no luck. According to my settings I have the newest firmware and all updates have been performed.
Router interface for N450 DB fails to load/loads slowly/loads partially. I am running Windows 8, and have tried IE10 both from Start Screen and desktop, no luck.
Just installed a RV042 with dual wan connections. Would like to make the WAN 2 (new cable modem as well) the primary connection over WAN1 (DSL), however whenever I switch from WAN1 to WAN2 in Smark Link set up, our email server will not send mail out, even though nothing is blocking the connection.
I'm trying to manually set up port forwarding for my Vulkano Lave media server, but my just purchased AC 900gb (model # F9k1117v2) won't take the inputs completely. I need 2 TCP ports one is 49177, the other is 56123, and one UDP for 56123. How do I successfully put in these numbers into port forwarding? Is their a plug and play setting I can use?
The Lg840g is a tracfone with wifi capability. I get strong wifi signal and connection at home, but receive failure to connect to requested host message when I open the browser. This phone works at wayport wifi, so I assume it's a compatibility problem with the router. Is there a fix? (Router works great with our Acer and Kindle tablets though.)
I can receive but not send faxes. When I try to send an operator comes on and says please enter the number you are trying to reach. I plugged in another machine and it does the same thing.
I recently migrated keeping my original email address. All went well, except I am unable to receive emails from one of my contacts. I can send to this individual successfully, but when the contact tries to respond the reply kicks back to him telling him that there was a delivery notice failure. Email addresses have been verified by both of us and both are accurate
At random times, my internet will "drop" connection and will not download any packets, but I am still able to send packets. My Local Area Connection icon continues to say I am connected, my modem is fully functional, and my cables are good. I can get my internet back up and running for 10 minutes or so by disable and re-enabling my Network Connection. If I simply try the "repair", it gives me an error at the "Refreshing IP" step.I have done a full system scan for viruses and I am clean. My drivers are fully updated, I have disabled my firewalls, and still no luck. During the times when it is down, I can successfully ping my modem through CMD, but I get the time-out error if I ping a site, my default gateway, the DHCP Server, or the DMS Servers.I have made no changes to any major settings on my computer, nor has there been any recent additions/removals of any software.
Wireless Adapter D600 USB needs to connect to the internet to finish installing... Problem is, I bought it because I can't get my ethernet port to work on my desktop. It worked find in Windows 7, but Windows 8 needs more information.
Can receive email but cannot connect to the Internet, my user can get to all shared files on the network and get emails through exchange but cannot browse the internetWe turned off the firewall and checked DNS and the IP. It says the local area connection is connected. We added IE to the exceptions tab in firewall.
I can connect to my mom's wireless network but now all of a sudden I can't get any pages to load. All I get is this page cannot be displayed screen. My computer shows I'm connected with an excellent signal but I can't get any pages to load, I can't even send and receive my e-mail.
