I have an Averatec 1550H laptop. The wireless card driver was corrupted so I replaced with a driver from Trigem. The name of the device is an Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter. I can get as far as a message saying a cable is unplugged.

Took my ages to find that I need to post in the 300Mbps Wireless Routers forum to get support with the TL-WR841N. All the little subgroups are a little over-engineered to say the least.
I'm keen to improve the performance of this router. It needs rebooting and Apple based clients need to reconnect all the time.

I can view numerous other PDF files from other websites, and even PDF files from TP-LINK, but, the User Guide for the TL-WDR3600 or the 3500 error out when opening in a web browser. If I right click and download them, they will download but then error out on opening.
Very recently whenever I download a file which is in a package e.g. a rar file or an iso it always seems to be corrupt. For example I downloaded the windows 8 consumer preview multiple times and each time was corrupt. Now I know it isn't anything to do with my computer as I have this problem on all devices connected to my internet including my ps3, every game I download is corrupt and I cannot install it. I've tried all the obvious things like turning the router on and off and plugging the device directly into the router via ethernet
View 1 Replies View Relatedhalf of my laptop driver are corrupted (network, USB, and sound). I had installed a program called 'motion joy' and play with the software... right after i reboot my laptop, the sound icon and the network icon on the system tray are crossed out. I can see yellow exclamation mark on the drivers icons on device manager.
I made an attempt to roll back those corrupted drivers but nothing happen. Even when i try to update it, it says i had the latest driver. ;( I tried to uninstall the driver but the those driver files at 'system32/driver' are still there. I even tried to run driver CD that comes along with my laptop, and when I run the installer, it states that all the drivers are install.
so bascially now my laptop boot, run program BUT can't access internet , all USB ports are unavailable,and no sound at all.
I noticed my tumblr dashboard was loading corrupted thumbnails. I first thought that tumblr was having problems, until it started happening on my deviantArt, and YouTube. I was worried that it was my computer, but then the same thing started happening on my moms' Macbook, and then her Wi-Fi streaming television started corrupting the video. And then, sometimes a website won't load fully, but will instead load part of it's code, or instead my browser (I've tried on Google Chrome, Firefox and IE) tells me the webpage is unavailable, or doesn't exist. It'll load up semi-properly (with the corrupted images still) after a refresh or two, but it's tiring and worrisome.

As soon as I configure the WAN IPv6 with a static IP address also, the configuration for the IPv4 static IP is corrupted. Other combinations of (WAN config) using static for either IPv4 or IPv6 with DHCP or other seem to work. Just appears to have conflict with two WAN static IP configurations.

I want to upgrade IOS on 1811 from 12.4(11)T3 to 12.4(15)T16.
As a standard CF size in the 1811 is 32 M, so I have to free some space.

Just now router is running IOS c181x-advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.T3.bin The size of this IOS is 19 155 816, that is approximately equal to the size that allocated to something invisible.
fsck flash and format flash doesn't work. Bug Toolkit doesn't show any bugs similar to my issue.
I think I am having problem with my network card I am running windows 7 with Dell wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card lots of times the signal is low and I get the error message no internet connectivity or some other error message that I am not being able to connect to the network provided by my wimax modem, Is there any program that I can download to test if there are any errors related to the network card or any way to fix this?

Well, everything runs fine on the first start, let's say I have installed Google Chrome, Microsoft Office, and some other software I still not installed it. And when I restart it and tried to run Google Chrome for example, it said "Google Chrome has stopped working", it's happened to almost every software in my PC, let's say I tried to install VirtualDJ, then the Installer is corrupted, so was the Google Chrome installer and Microsoft Office Installer. Before they are all corrupted, there was a suspicious thing named 'winblmguf.exe' trying to access the Internet through my firewall.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just purchased two DCS-930L cameras. They are both installed and running fine over wireless. I can view them via a web browser, however, I cannot get D-ViewCam to work. I installed the latest version (3.1.1). As soon as I launch the Main Console it crashes and I get the "Missing or Corrupted Files error code 268435457". I saw the other post in terms of change the display settings on my PC to 1280X768, however, that does not work. I also have User Account Control (UAC) turned off.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Sony Viao laptop with WinXp SP3 which is now 6 years old. We are currently renting a holiday home in the USA which has an unsecured network. We have two other laptops and they are connected, no problem. This morning my Sony worked fine on email and web access but I was having trouble on FTP. Then email stopped and then web.I have tried all the usual solutions. Delete the Network, restart etc etc.It clearly show the network (and also another secured network I cannot access). When I connect it shows "Acquiring network address" then just hangs. If I press, repair it hangs on "Renewing your IP address" Does the fact that it can see the networks and when I "ping 127.0.01" it seems to be OK, mean that it CANNOT be a hardware fault? I ask this partly because the WLAN switch at the front often does not seem to work (when it does work it is green and currently it IS green)

A while back my faithful old IBM ThinkPad became very slow under the weight of too many applications and updates so I replaced it. Now I have decided I would like to revive it mainly as a games machine for my young grandson, so I wiped everything off it and reinstalled Windows XP Home Editon (it previously had XP Pro). It used to access the net via a wireless LAN card (IEEE802.11b/g) and this worked fine. I am now having difficulty reinstalling this device. I thought XP would just pick it up but it doesn't. I tried downloading a driver onto a memory stick using my new laptop but that doesn't work either.

I have recently started (slowly) upgrading my computer. I have an older desktop, and I'm wanting to eliminate the ethernet cable so I can put my desktop anywhere in the house and not have to worry about running cables. I really can't afford the faster internet at this time and I'm having issues with streaming movies. So I really don't want to lose what speed my internet does have by switching to wireless. The USB adapter is less expensive by a few bucks, but I'm worries it might just stop working randomly, or be slow in comparison to a PCI card. Another issue is with my old motherboard, I only have 2 pci slots and one pci-e slot, I've ordered a new sound card, just installed a video card. So I only have one slot left, and I was wanting to put a TV tuner in that spot.
Should I get the USB (300mbps is what I'm looking at) or should I just get over wanting to put a tv tuner in and just get the card and install it? Just wanting some general advice on what more advanced users think of it. I've seen pci expansions online but that was just way out of my price range, and do not want to have to buy a new motherboard.

The indicator light always stays amber (instead of turning blue when turned on) on external wirless switch. The wireless adaptor should be a Broadcom 802.11b. This does not show up in device manager, but my computer says the driver for it is installed. In the device manager there is one device with a yellow question mark beside it called "other device". Under this device there are three more devices called "base system device" with a yellow exclamation point next to them

I was missing some network adapters which I have reinstalled, and the hard wired connection is now working again, but wireless will not get past the acquiring network address phase. I tried the ipconfig /all and it shows my IP address as 0.0.0.0 and the same on the subnet mask. it says the autoconfig is enabled and dhcp is enabled. My HP laptop is connecting to the wireless network just fine.
