Jan 8, 2013I have a Belkin N750DB router. I've had it for about 1 month. It's worked great. This morning I got a message on my computer saying I needed to perform an update on the router. I did it and now the router won't turn back on. I've tried all of the easy stuff...unpluging power, unpugging internet, unpluging power to the modem that feeds into the router, pressed the reset button. I've even tried other electrical oputlets to make sure it wasn't the power supply. No little blue light. I'm technologically challenged to begin with. Oh, and I can't find the original disk that came with it. Is there anything I can do?

Apr 23, 2013I have a N750Db router along with a Dual-band wireless range extender. It works great, but it created two new networks with "_xt" at the end of the SSID to denote the extended networks. This means I have to disconnect/reconnect to the base/extended networks as I move around my house. If I were to rename the extended networks to have the same SSID as the base networks, would that allow me to walk around my place without having to connect to the extended network, or will it create some sort of conflict or error?

I have been receiving error messages that the router, model F9K1105 v3, was not connected periodically. The "fix it" option usually took care of it. Then I noticed that the indicator for the modem was showing the color grey instead of blue. I also became unable to access the settings with the default IP. I wasn't able to fix this so I tried to reinstall the software and reset the modem to just start all over. I was unable to get the computer to detect the router during setup. Unplugged, tried new cable etc. No luck. It was still saying it was unable to connect, and still unable to get to setup page. I happened to notice I WAS online and can connect to the router wirelessly with an Iphone.
What can I do to get the software to see that I am connected and how do I get to the setup page? Basically get everything to work like it did when I first installed it. Eventually I want to connect my old router to this one and use it as an access point.
