Belkin Routers :: N750DB Maintenance Address Not Loading
Nov 18, 2012
What do I do if I cannot access the setup address IE 198.168.2.1?I use my N750DB as a network booster at home. It runs via ethernet cable from the main router. I used to be able to get on no problem and now, I just can't. I have spent 2 days trying to sort my internet problems.
N750DB status light is constant amber, router says I am not connected to the internet, but everything on my network is connected and can access the internet.
I have a Belkin N750DB router. I've had it for about 1 month. It's worked great. This morning I got a message on my computer saying I needed to perform an update on the router. I did it and now the router won't turn back on. I've tried all of the easy stuff...unpluging power, unpugging internet, unpluging power to the modem that feeds into the router, pressed the reset button. I've even tried other electrical oputlets to make sure it wasn't the power supply. No little blue light. I'm technologically challenged to begin with. Oh, and I can't find the original disk that came with it. Is there anything I can do?
I have a Belkin N750DB (F9K1103) that has been working great for many months. All of the sudden, when I reboot it r power cycle it, it loses its configuration. Even if I restore the configuration, it immediately goes away. I have tried unplugging for an extended time and holding the reset button for a full factory reset.
It seem like 2 or 3 times a day my router software says your router will reset in 3 minutes or something like that. How do I prevent this? I do have self healing turned on for 4 a.m. each morning but it resets at other times. I own a belkin n750db f9k1103 v.1
I have a N750Db router along with a Dual-band wireless range extender. It works great, but it created two new networks with "_xt" at the end of the SSID to denote the extended networks. This means I have to disconnect/reconnect to the base/extended networks as I move around my house. If I were to rename the extended networks to have the same SSID as the base networks, would that allow me to walk around my place without having to connect to the extended network, or will it create some sort of conflict or error?
We added a Belkin N750DB wireless to our building yesterday. Everyone is working fine except one computer that is an apple. Her wi-fi keeps going on and off. Is there a setting we need to change so this stops happening and she has constant internet?
I keep getting "Speed Test: Error occurred during test." message when I run Streamline speed test on N750DB router. I'm not sure what my download and upload speeds are which is why I went with run a speed test to begin with.
N300 F9K1002v3 not loading some websites , other websites load just fine.Brand new just arrived yesterday afternoon.I have restarted the router.I have updated the firmware.I have reset the router by holding in the button on the back of the router. When I plug my computer directly into my modem everything works fine.
Router interface for N450 DB fails to load/loads slowly/loads partially. I am running Windows 8, and have tried IE10 both from Start Screen and desktop, no luck.
i want to use the belkin to connect a sky box to a sky wireless router, it doesnt work as the ip adress for sky is different, is it possible to change the ip address in the router
I just got a new Thompson Cable Modem from MediaCom. The old Surfboard gave out. However, my Belkin F5D9230-4 will not retrieve a new IP address. When I hook my laptop to the cable modem, I do get an IP and I can surf the web. The Belkin admin page says Disconnected. I've got latest firmware. I've reset to factory standards. What else can I do to get my Belkin working again?
I have a n150 and it only allows private ip addresses for the lan setup. Is there anyway to assign a public address? I need to have the DHCP use a public range and I can't do that unless I can set the router to a public ip.
I have a Belkin N150 wireless router. I have enabled MAC Address Filtering as an added level of security. However; whenever I access the router, and if I check that page; the check mark for the option to enable the filter is always blank.
I have checked the option, clicked Apply Changes, and logged out of the router. i went back in this morning, to check the security logs. (Looking like someone is trying to jump on my network) I didn't see anything there, but when I checked MAC Address Filtering; there was no check mark indicating that the filter was turned on.
It took a while of troubleshooting since I've never ran into this problem with my wireless router before. But finally I figured out that my router will not assign the proper DNS server addresses when assigning through DHCP. I upgraded from 2.10.02 and still the same issue.
With firmware 1.0.4.17 I am have issues with configuration pages not loading and needing to restart the web interface and login again. This is a new problem that started after updating to 1.0.4.17
I am handling a WIN2K3 server which has 11 clients connected to it and a back-up server, operating system of all clients are XP, and they are being used in a small office enviroment.
how to do maintenance work to keep my server running healthy
ADDITIONAL QUESTION:
1. Do i need to defrag the hard drive and network drives of the server?
2. How to verify if the connections if they are in healthy mode?
3. Is it advisable that when the office is close that i shutdown the servers so they can also rest?
4. Best way on how to schedule an automatic back-up or sync of hard drives on a separate hard drive that is only intended to be use for backing up of files.
Can open (url) in work computer but not at home - Message coming up at home that it will be closed for maintenance and that was last week and has since finished now as i can open site at work but not at home
Is there a security appliance available that provides anti-malware protection, firewall,r content filtering, etc, AND has no subscription or maintainance fee (or optional fees)?
I just did small office transfer all their existing computers and equipment over to a new office site. They had new voice and data cables run, as well as patch panel and telephone and cable modem equipment set up in new office The private telephone tech requested that I port forward port 8000 to the telephone equipments' IP address He also requested that I provide the Office Static IP address to him My question is--am I opening this office's network up to any security risks by forwarding port 8000 to his telephone equipment's internal system IP address and providing him the actual Static IP address of the office Internet connection?
I have question regarding route reflector. In my MPLS core network ,we have two route reflectors. Two route reflectors and each PE routers are belonged to a peer group. Route reflectors are Cisco 7301. IOS 12.3. I have Hardware maintenace on one Routereflector. How can I do that without interupting the end customer trafic.
I am currently deciding which IOS to use for various catalyst 3560 models. Version 12.2(55)SE3 seems fitting for this case, but I cant find out when the 12.2SE reaches End of Software Maintenance. I have checked this link: urls...
I have two WLC version 7.3.101.0 with the standby unit having HA-SKU. I have tested the AP-SSO functionality without any problem in lab with direct connection on RP port between two WLC. Once I brought them into data centre in separate location (latency is less than 10ms between the two DC), the standby unity always went into maintenance mode. The booting process on standby unit went to maintenance mode as shown below:
Management Gateway and Peer Redundancy Management interface are not reachable.Entering maintenance mode.
I have checked on the core switches at 2 data centre that the two WLC RP ports are connected to same VLAN and it is spanned across MAN link (10GB and less than 10ms delay). The spanning tree on those ports are forwarding as well.I have rebooted the second unit but no luck. The interface between two DC is using MTU 9216 which I do not think would cause this issue.
