Belkin Routers :: Shutting Down After Firmware Update - F9K1103v1
Oct 11, 2012During a firmware update, the router shutdown rebooted, stayed on for about 1 minute and then powered off and never rebooted. 750DB, F9K1103v1. What do I do next?
I was having intermittent internet issues. I was advised by my ISP to update the firmware. I tried via web browser but when I tried clicking on the firmware update link I would lose the page or the page wouldn't load.
I then tried running the cd and installed the bellkin software and got everything working - it asked me to update the firmware to which I readily agreed considering the request from my ISP. Then during the firmware update, my problem took place.
Retried multiple times to restart the router as well as resetting the router.

Feb 25, 2013After our ISP had a network outage, our Belkin N150 stopped working properly & now I can't get to the Settings page to fix anything. I have used the Reset feature to no avail. The blue light is on but the "Fixit" feature only comes up with something about the ASDL line.

Dec 21, 2012Am running firmware ver 1.00.19. Set up DDNS with DynDns.Org and all is well. Set up virtual server with DDNS info. Trying to connect to an IPcam (Foscam 8905W). IPcam is set up with static IP with ip outside Belkins DHCP range.
Problem: When trying to access the IPcam through the internet (DynDns) Belkin takes me right to the Belkin router Setup screen, not to the virtual server settings (IPcam). I was able to do it a couple of months ago,but not now. I may have upgraded my firmware in that time from 1.00.12.

Sep 25, 2012I just say that I'm not brilliant with pcs but I'm able to follow instructions if they are in the consistency of baby food! XD..Well basically I can't access my wireless modem router's settings (2 in 1 device I believe). I managed it once but haven't been able to do it again. I've tried the following:
-Reset router many times.
-Turn it on and off many times.
-reset router while ethernet cable is connected and without.
-ipconfig/release and renew
notthing works!!! I noticed the ip address changed from the default one of 192.168.2.1 to a completely different one...95.175.138.When I turned on my laptop today after being off overnight (and the router) somehow I did managed to get on the settings page again using 192.168.2.1 but didn't last for long. While I did this there was a warning icon next to the wifi icon, but then when the warning sign went off that's when the router's setting page stoped working again.I need to get to the router setting because currently is set to go off when i turn off my laptop which is a bit pointless and change a password.

Cisco Wireless :: WRV200 Change Configuration Settings
Jul 18, 2011I have had a WRV200 wireless router running at the family office now for a several years now and recently I was made aware of an issue with the router. Previously it's function was to provide internet access for the laptops at the office and two workstations. It was a simple set up really, 1 SSID was for the work computers that were allowed on the internet and another SSID for personal and quest wireless devices and I made sure they were in seperate VLANs. This issue came into light after our office moved and with some new upgrades in networking equipment it was deemed safe enough to have the other computers on my wireless router.
What is happening is that all the computers will have a momentary drop of connectivity and will re-establish it's connection to the wireless router. I check the event viewer and it's the same thing accross the board. I'll have several DHCP warings specifically event ID 1003 and finally DHCP error 1000 almost 30 minutes after the first warning. From the looks of it there is something going on with the DHCP addresses about to expire and the systems are having issues trying to get it renewed. The error will happen then the computer will restore the connection.
I have it isolated to the WRV200 because of two reasons. Every machine is having this issue, it's not a random occurance on one computer. The big clue was when I checked Event viewer on my Marketing Director's laptop. These same errors were present all the way back to May which was before the office move and the router was provide access for our laptops to get online. There was no other networking equipment connected to it except for the Clearwire modem.
Between May and now the router has been reconfigured from scratch. New SSIDs, redid the internal IP addressing network wide to incorporate the new computers and would be easier to manage them that way. All wired devices go through a 16 port switch and then through port 1 on the router. Port 1 is on VLAN 1 and the others on VLAN 5. The 3 SSIDS are each on their own seperate VLANs. All systems are on DHCP and the important computers and the printers I am using Static DHCP. In the mean time I set all the important machines to use an alternate IP addressing scheme so hopefully there is no drop in conenctivity. While the drop is minor it could cause issues in the program called SLS (especially during printing) so I can not have this issue to continue. Configuration wise everything is defualt, is there something to change in the configuration settings that I may have missed twice now or the router simply near the end of it's life cycle.
