The Belkin print manager software "sees" the printer, but when I try to connect it says please install printer drivers. I've installed and re-installed these drivers a few times, with no effects.

I am trying to set up the network configuration on the NAS drive so I can have internet access to the drive. My question is do I manually define the IP address, subnet mask, DNS, and gateway or do I select DHCP. If so what addresses should I use the address of the NAS drive form the router or the router address. I think I need to use the manual fields and use a static IP but do I get that IP address from the router or from my ISP (comcast)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently Brighthouse figured out that I was using the wireless router they gave me for actual wireless, and decided to shut it off and tell me I need to pay $100 to use wi-fi on the router. So instead, I went out and bought myself my own belkin wireless router, and plugged it into my old one. Now, I don't know if my old router was indeed a router or a modem. The cable from the wall goes into the older router (let's call that NETGEAR) and from there, an ethernet cable goes into the belkin one (we'll call that BELKIN). Before, when I was using the Wi-Fi on the NETGEAR, port forwarding worked fine, except for having to re-forward ports after my dynamic ip changed. Now, because of the BELKIN router, I can't forward anything? I went into the router management at 192.168.2.1 (for the Belkin), went to Virtual servers forwarded the port 25565 No one can connect to my Minecraft server, only when I plug my computer into my NETGEAR with ethernet (hardwire).

View 20 Replies View RelatedI've just changed my router to a Belkin N+ Wireless Router (F5D8235uk4) My home network is on the 10.0.0.0 ip address range.
I changed the routers IP address to 10.0.0.2 (same as my last one) and the subnet is set to 255.0.0.0
My problem is that whilst my PC's are in the 10.0.0.10 to 10.0.0.20 range my NAS ip is 10.10.10.10 and when I go into the port forwarding (virtual servers) settings on the router it only let's me set the last octet with the first three octets set to 10.0.0. and these can't be changed so I can't port forward to my nas.
Surely the virtual servers should be able to forward to any PC in the subnet, not just those in a 255.255.255.0 subnet? I don't want to change my nas IP address even though that would fix this issue.
I've been trying to port forward my modem and router for Xbox 360 live. Only problem is, I know absolutely nothing about networking or configuring modem / router settings.Anyhow, I was told to put my modem into Bridged Ethernet mode. The default HTTP service works fine: TCP80/80-> 192.168.0.55
I have a couple of IP security camera's I'd like to be able to access remotely that also listen on port 80. I tried TCP & UDP 8009/8009-> 192.168.0.9 without any luck. Not sure how to handle the port redirects on the RV042G? Seems simple and was on the Symantec, could be user training :-)
I was able to do port redirect with the Symantec Firewall I'm replacing.
