Farmville plays fine, frontierville is ok, cityville is taking a long time to display friends list to request gifts, and wild west town is the same if it loads at allthis all started about a month ago and i don't know why. I'm trying optimise programs at present still no difference.

I had a linksys WRT54G and it would work fine. No disconnects or freezing during gameplay.
Also if i'm using pandora it works fine. When I get a DC or frozen game I can still surf the internet. This happens on all my PC's/MAC's/WLAN or LAN

My internet connection keeps freezing when I'm trying to play Diablo 3. I can't connect directly to the modem because it's my roommates internet and it's connected to her computer so my only option is wireless or to connect directly via adapter that goes through the power outlets in the house. It's getting very annoying skipping around and it's almost impossible to play diablo 3 with this lag. I notice I drop a lot of packets when pinging to the diablo 3 server and I don't know why.

Then the key was changed again, and now my wireless is wonky. Sometimes it can't find the network, other times it will find it but then can't acquire a network address, and if it does manage to connect (sometimes it will as soon as I click 'Cancel' when it's taking forever to get the address) it starts slowing down and then speeding up again. The settings have not changed on anything, other than the network key.

I tried more than once, but then it started loading only text on the left side of the page and I couldn't use it practically. This happened also with Yahoo, but I didn't see it happening with some other websites, they work totally normally.I stress I have tried clearing the whole cache and history of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, system restore, check of sfc.exe, creation of new user account, running of an Ubuntu LIVE CD, uninstallation of all browsers and installation of the latest versions once again, changing of the MTU to 1500, turning off my router and antenna but unfortunately nothing has worked till now.What wonders me is that Facebook works normally on my laptop which uses wireless connection provided by the same router and antenna.

I have recently had problems with slow broadband speeds on my PC. I appear to be getting upto 2mbps when I should be getting close to 40mb. I have been in contact with Sky and they are now sending me a new router, but I now think its not a router problem because I put on my Sony Blu ray player which is connected to the router and loaded up a movie in crackle and its showing that im getting 28mbps & the Xbox 360 doesnt appear to be lagging with any speed issues.I have scanned PC with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware & Spybot - Search & Destroy and a virus scan with Avast which bring up nothing.Also upto a week ago i was using Microsoft security essentials but during a scan it stopped working and kept switching off. View 2 Replies View RelatedHow can i prevent my Vodafone usb stick device to enter in 3G mode when the network is very low usage or not at all. If i open google for example, it turns automatically on HSUPA mode with a better speed, but if im doing nothing after 1min or so it goes back on 3G more slower speed. So the 3G / HSUPA mode is auto switched depending on demand based on how much speed is needed at that moment. I am playing an online game and the network usage by the game when im inside playing it, is not in that range to trigger the HSUPA mode, and just stay in 3G causing me to have lots of lag, is there a workaround for this so when im playing the game to be connected with HSUPA instead of 3G? ( i was thinking about some kinda of slow trafic generator that generates a litle trafic continuously to trigger that HSUPA mode while im playing, but not sure if is possible and also not too much to affect my conection speed which is slow anyway on a mobile) You can see in the picture, the ping on google while its both modes, as u can see 3-5times ping increase while its on 3G. My Mums and Sisters Computers work fine but RECENTLY (last couple of days) my computer when using the internet has become troublesome. Whenever I load multiple web-browser pages at once or try to connect to any online game server, my internet "laggs out" and refuses to load pages and even if it does they load INCREDIBLY slow. The only way to get back into any server is to reboot my modem and let my pc reconnect to it then connect to the server, even then it still has difficulty connecting and is delayed. My ping also spikes up when I am using skype and watching youtube video's. I have done a virus scan. I know its not my wireless adapter as I used my sisters one, I have tried using an ethernet cable and still the same result. I even tried our old adsl modem and still nothing. I'm getting really frustrated and have been unable to even load facebook in the last couple of days (I need facebook! I can post more information if needed, I am computer literate so I should easily understand anything anyone comes up with.
