Sharing The Email Account In Mircosoft Outlook?

Aug 17, 2012

My company have an email address info@... which we currently have forwarded to a hotmail account and we work out of hotmail. We'd like to step it up a gear and be able to share the email account in Mircosoft Outlook (not Hotmail) across 2 different shops across London so both shops have access to the email address in Outlook. We would ideally like to know when an email has been replied to or deleted .etc. across both shops. We have a website, and web server with our hosting.

Cisco Security :: Securely Access Exchange Server 2007 Through ASA 5510 Using Outlook

Cisco Switching/Routing :: Setting Up VRF-lite On Redundant 6509-E To Account For Chassis Failure?

May 15, 2013

setting up VRF-lite on redundant 6509-E chassis to account for chassis failure?   Let's say I have 2x 6509-Es configured with HSRP for 2 vlans, ServerA and ServerB.  So

6509-A#
!
interface Vlan10
description ServerA VLAN
ip address 10.10.10.2 255.255.255.0
ip flow ingress
standby 1 ip 10.10.10.1
standby 1 priority 105

[code].....

I now need to create an environment where the Server VLANs can be provided for two customers and they need to be wholly separate.   On 6509-A, I make VRF CustomerA  and VRF CustomerB  and I assign Vlan10 to VRF CustomerA and Vlan20 to CustomerB.   Do I create the SAME VRFs on 6509-B with the same logic?

2008R2 / Cisco2960 - Why Can User Log Into A Domain Account When The Server Is Down

We had a power outage that kicked off our server and our network switch (2008R2, Cisco2960), before we could get it back up, a user was able to log into his laptop.

The user used the domain login - not the local machine account - he obviously wasn't able to access any shared resources, but how did he log in with a domain account, when the server and switch were both off?

Cisco VPN :: Changing The Server IP In A ASA 5505?

Sep 28, 2012

I know know nothing about cisco devices. Just wanted to get that out there. I recently came to a job that has a 5505 setup as the network gateway, and as a vpn for employees to work from home via the Cisco VPN remote client program. We had one main server that was domain controller, dns, and dhcp. It was a old 03 box, and I setup a new 08 r2 box on a different IP, and migrated all the above functions to it. Old server was a xxx.xxx.xxx.31, new server xxx.xxx.xxx.6. I found the java ASDM program(6.1) and connected to the ASA, and I have changed .31 to .6 in as many places as I can find, however, vpn clients on the outside can no longer connect to their desktops, as when i open a command prompt on their computer, the only IP they can ping is xxx.xxx.xxx.31, pinging xxx.xxx.xxx.6, or any other address fails. I'm guessing maybe it's in the firewall of the asa, but have no ideal really. Was there anything else I was suppose to do? Someplace I overlooked?

Cisco :: 5500 - Changing Radius Server

Nov 19, 2012

We are retiring our current radius server. It is windows 2003 IAS server (also a DC) that we use for 802.1X authentication. We are moving to server 2008r2. I have already installed NPS and Network Authentication services on the server.

On the existing IAS server I exported the settings (using iasmig reader.exe) and was able to import the profiles (I see the 5500 as a radius client etc) Our 5500 is still pointing to the old server.

Is it as simple as changing the ip of the RADIUS server to point to the new server? It looks like I actually have to add the new server and create a new pres hared key on the NPS server but only find documents on adding a new 5500 (vs flipping it to a new NPS server).

Linksys Wireless Router :: Setting Default IP Address For EA4500?

Aug 27, 2012

I have bought EA4500 router recently in preparations for the Singapore fibre broadband upgrade.

But for the time being I'm using it to connect to my current Linksys WAG200G ADSL Wireless Gateway.

Here's the issue I'm currently facing. I have set my EA4500 router default IP address to 192.168.1.10 to aviod conflicts with my gateway which is using 192.168.1.1. But everytime when I connect my router to the gateway, the router's default IP address changes to 10.179.159.126 or some other random IP address by itself whenever I try to change to back. However, I'm still able to surf the internet and stuffs with that current settings.

Is there something that I could do to prevent the IP address from changing by itself? And will the same thing happen again when I upgrade to fibre broadband?

Cisco VPN :: ASA5505 - Bad Cryptochecksum Ignored And Setting Default Startup Configuration

Jan 9, 2012

There are two issues which are testing my resolve.

1) Bad Cryptochecksum Ignored error
2) Unable to boot to a save startup-config file.

I want to take the configuration from one ASA 5505 and move it to another ASA 5505. I copied the startup-config file from an ASA 5505 running asa821-k8.bin to an ASA running 8.222-k8 to flash using tftp. I set the boot config parameter on the new asa to flash:/startup-config which is the location of the startup file. If I use copy run start command, I over write the startup file. When I copy the startup configuration to the running configuration I get a Bad Cryptochecksum Ignored error and the startup file does not copy over to the running file. How can I resolve this issue?

Cisco Wireless :: 5508 Controller And Changing Windows Dhcp Server

Dec 5, 2012

We have a 5508 controller authenticates with WPA2-enterprise to 3 possible AAA servers.  Today I tried migrating our DHCP server from a Windows 2003 machine to Windows 2008 R2.  Migration went smoothly and all wired clients could get IP's.  Reservations intact, scopes intact, etc.. you name it.  I though it was a great success.

Fast forward about an hour when people started coming into work for the day. Calls started coming in about their laptops not able to connect to the network.  I double checked with a spare laptop in our IT department and also my iPhone.  Same issue.  Seems the only thing I changed today was the DHCP server (from 10.1.1.1 to 10.1.1.2).

After racking my head on it for awhile, I re-enabled the "old" dhcp server (10.1.1.1) and disabled it on the new (10.1.1.2).  Instantly wireless clients were able to connect.

Am I missing some configuration step in the 5508 controller when moving DHCP servers?  I do plan on running 2 DHCP servers (10.1.1.2 and 10.1.1.10) for redundancy once I get the primary one moved over and working correctly.

I want to decommision the older 2003 server.  Its time to raise the domain functional level.

D-Link DIR-615 :: How To Route All Incoming Connections To Default To Web Server

1. Assign/Reserve IP address for 2 machines.

2. Route a web browser to a server on the first machine (port 80) as a default when another computer or smart-phone or device joins my open wireless network.

I am hoping to eliminate any changes to the IP address of the first two computers so that the server's IP address and port are static. I would also like anyone who joins the network to merely open their browser and be presented with the http interface from my server.

Cisco VPN :: 3825 - Easy VPN Server / Ping Default Gateway Of 192.168.1.1?

Nov 23, 2012

I used the Cisco Configuration Professional to add an Easy VPN Server to my 3825. I'm able to connect when remote but I can't ping the default gateway of 192.168.1.1 which is in the same network as the VPN DHCP pool. I can access every single other device on the VLAN segments but not the default gateway which means when i connect I can't look at my router. And there's more,  I cannot ping anything offnet (ie 75.75.75.75).

Attached are some images which show some details from the client during the VPN connect and a few from the router (i had to use the lan switch as a jump host). If you can figure this out before I go back to the coffee shop to test this tomorrow I will send you a cake.
