I've replaced my old wireless router with a new DIV-655. Now, I can connect to my work's VPN and connect to servers and data via the VPN, but my Outlook client will NOT connect to the Exchange server.It (Outlook) just sits there saying "Trying to connect to Microsoft Exchange.Will it work.

This is the issue, when I connect VPN to my job, I can see all of my files, databases, spread sheets, etc and use them no problem at all. Have a 25 meg connection via Comcast.I can not open my outlook 2003the program opens, however it just sits at trying to connect and then time out. Have tried for 10 days now with no luck. If the computer is set to workgroup there is no problem. The problem comes up when its a domain based server.I keep getting the message that the user is logged in. The host computer connecting to the server has the user name "thinclient" and I use the name "user" to log in from the thin client. But it says "thinclient" already in use and disconnect my connection between the host and the server.

However, once connected via VPN and I launch my Outlook Client, I'm not able to connect to get emails. I was also unable to ping their IP Address from the command prompt though I could ping any other web site I tried successfully. Comcast says they are not blocking it. When I went home where I use Comcast I was able to access my email. I removed Webroot's security software which did not work. Windows Firewall is now being used.

But now i want to connect the client ASA network via EasyVPN software client from outside. The user are already able to connect to the ASA Server on its static outside IP obtaining an IP from a 192.168.21.0/24 pool. This works fine. But how am i able to connect to the 192.168.1.0/24 network from this client?

For instance, I have a dyndns address of ericnewton76.dyndns.org. This points to my router. Works fine if you're NOT within the router's internal network, ie, outside hosts can get in just fine (try it... http:// , you'll see an IIS7 welcome screen)
However, when INSIDE the network, the requests don't get connected properly, and they used to... ie, I work with code, so my svn repo is at ericnewton76.dyndns.org/svn but inside my network it doesn't connect properly anymore (whereas it used to before firmware update)
So now I wish I could back-peddle to 1.0 firmware.

I have a TL-MR3420 router placed in a remote location. The internet connection is via 3G, and since the telco is shifting the IP every 24 hours, the router is configured with DDNS from no-ip.org. This is working OK most days, but sometimes the DNS fails to update. To be able to trobleshoot it, I am trying to make my router send a mail with the logfile every hour. This function seems to be easy and out-of-the-box, but it doesn't wiork. Whenever I try to mail the log I get the error message "Fail to Connect the mail server.".
It is not possible to enter another SMTP-port, so I asume the standard port 25 (like this thread). Most ISP-mail services require SSL/TLS and/or use an alternative port, so I have made my own server. This server is visible on the Internet, and I (and others) are able to connect and send mails using smtp on port 25. But, still my remote TL-MR3420 keep saying "Fail to Connect the mail server.". I have tried nearly everything, including disabling authentication and giving the IP-address of the smtp server directly instead of the URL.
I'm hosting my email on an Exchange Server 2003 box and have my laptop (Vista Ultimate 32 bit) setup to connect to the exchange server for my email. This works fine through a LinkSys RV042 in one location and a LinkSys WRT54GC in another, but fails through the DIR-615 B2 (2.24 firmware) at home. I'm guessing it's blocking something needed for the MAPI connection.

I recently purchased a tl-wr842nd, my printer is a hp laserjet 1020 and it is in the compatible list as I seen. The problem is that I connect the printer in the usb routers port and the led do not light up, I tried putting my pendrive to see if the usb routers port wasn't working but it does since the pendrive is accepted and online and the usb led lights.I downloaded and installed the latest firmware but there's no change, I did everything like it saids in the faq 415 where it explains how to install and use printer server with no luck.

I've configured the router using the Easy Setup Assistant CD provided and have a wifi connection between the router provided however when using network diagnostics, while the wifi connection is fine, I am getting "failed to connect to Internet" and "failed to connect to server" messages. I have tried adjusting settings manually but without any progress.
I insert data from two clients.(1 window server 2003,2 XP clients ) the two client print paper and the printer is shared printer. At the same time two clients print paper and the printer stop working. So I restart my two clients and server. After restart the clients cannot ping to server.
