How to configure ACS 5.1 local administrator accounting and where have to check the accounting log . suppose administrator logged in to ACS and created some user or delete users where will see the log , which user have they created or deleted.

Have set up a pair of ACS 5.3 servers and have set up device administration authentication be passed through to an RSA server via RADIUS. All works great.
What we want to do is go a step further and set the system up so that ACS Administrators also have to authenticate to the ACS system by RSA via RADIUS (the same as the Device Authentication we've set up) for ACS administration tasks.
Looking at the options available in the ACS Administration setup (administrator accounts etc) there doesn't seem to be an option to authenticate via another method apart from a local administrator account on the ACS.
Is it possible to do this?
I can add a ACS 5.1 to an Active Directory without using the administrator account, I have a domain administrator account by another name. I can use this account to include the ACS domain.
I have a account domain admin but when i try to add the ACS to AD have this message "can not resolve network address"
The DNS and network connectivity its OK
I just just purchased a CSACSE-1113-K9 and I need to wipe the Administrator password. I am also not sure what the default login credentials even are. There doesn't seem to be much out there for this device or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place?

Everything works fine but i have authentication failed in the Radius accouting reports every time when users connect through ASA or Juniper into our network. Juniper amd ASA only send accounting informations to ACS. The users are not configured on the ACS, authentication is done via external LDAP. So my question is why do o see authentication error on ACS because Juniper and ASA only send accounting packets ?

Bascially , we have integrated Cisco Switches with Cisco ISE for Device Authentication using Radius , we are able get the authentication logs on to the devices , but for any command changes or update done on Cisco devices we are not able to get the command accounting.
I do not see any start records in Radius Accounting reports but do see only Stop records ?
btw I am running ACS 5.2
How to delete the accounting/authorization Reports or logs ?

All commands executed in devices are sent to ACS. Does the ACS can that much sessions from those many devices?Am also planning to configure acs remote agent to store all the accounting history.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem trying to export logs to the Cisco ACS View from my ACS 4.2In the document [URL] Cisco states that one of the mandatory attributes for export to work is "Network Access Profile Name" under TACACS+ Accounting (under ACS 4.2 System configuration -> Logging settings). Well, I don't have this mandatory attribute listed in ACS under TACACS+ accounting log configuration. I tried to ignore this attribute, but then ACS View complains about null value for the attribute mentioned above.Is this some bug in ACS View or ACS or maybe I simply missing something?

For some time, I cannot access some websites. It gives me a 401 the web site is blocked by the administrator. I use a d-link router and my brother is the administrator. He told me he hasn't blocked anything. We tried to reset the router but it still gives me the 401 problem.I think it isn't a router problem. I have tried using my laptop and tried to access some sites. It still gives me the error so i dont think it's a computer related problem. I have tried to ping it. It still doesn't work. I have also tried to erase all the cookies and cache. The problem is still there. How can I fix this? My operating system is Windows XP Professional version 2002 service pack 2.

a) Is it possible to view real time logs for AAA clients and for ACS administrator?
b) Is it possible to track each and every change record for ACS Administrators and sessions in ACS . Ex addition and deletion of commands in command sets. As of now, we are able to see that config has changed by ACS admin but not able to see which commands are changed (Added or Removed)
c) As per user guide of ACS 5.3, we have an option for creating customized reports but unfortunately we are not able to see same option in ACS 5.3 GUI. Need confirmation on the same.
d) Is it possible to do configuration changes for ACS via Command line.
I am running v6.3.1172.4 of InterScan for Cisco CSC SSM. The previous administrator has left and I need to change the email address that email notifications go to. I click "Administration", then I click "Notification Settings" and type over the previous admin's email address.
When I click the "Save" button, I get:
The email address entered was not recognized. Verify the syntax and try again.
every time i go to my log in it ask for a pass word i did not make a pass word i have put in all kinds of pass words and got no where it will not even give me a hint i have went to safe mode it still ask for pass word . i have windows 7 how to rid the problem so that i can get around the administrator and remove it so that i can make another administrator account.

1st PC is Mike-Laptoppc is on a Wireless connection to an ADSL+2 router/modem.
2nd PC is a Desktop Alexs-PC connected via cable to the same router/modem
I can share all the shared folders from the Desktop to the Laptop, but I can only share Media streaming on the Desktop from the Laptop, so I know there is a connection between the two computers. I have now turned off Media streaming to concentrate on just folder sharing.Whenever I try to access the Laptop from the Desktop I get an " Access Denied you do not have permission contact your administrator " box on the desktop.
I recently "uninstalled" DD-WRT from my router and tried to install the actual firmware for the router, so I went to this page [URL] WRT54G and select version 5. My router is really version 5.1 but I read on this forum that this router works with version 5 so I downloaded it and installed it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I choose to authenticate NCS users through Cisco ACS (5.4 in this instance) via TACACS, do I still have the ability to do accounting to track what changes they have made? I'm not getting anything in the TACACS accounting reports and I don't see anywhere to configure TACACS for accounting within NCS gui like I can on a WLC. I know that NCS has an internal audit trail but if a users account is both a local account on NCS as well as an account being authenticated through ACS does the Audit trail on NCS for that local user still contain the information about changes the user made? I ask because it looks like it does but I want to make sure I'm not going mad. Here is my example:
Local account username: NCS_Admin2AD account via TACACS username: NCS_Admin2
Audit trail for the NCS_Admin2 account on NCS looks like changes are being logged to NCS even though the user is logging in with their AD credentials via TACACS.
