I have been fighting with a wireless network hacker for months with no success. I have tried reloading Windows XP. but the reload contains things like Redhat and linux programs that do not even exist on my xp install disk. How can I find this wireless hacker and h9ow can I get rid of his control programs?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have PC System Windows XP home edition Version 2002 SP3 and I lost Internet access in the middle of downloading a new program. I have a Motorola modem and modem is connected to the Netgear router. When I turn my desktop PC on which is connected to the router it shows the local connection is connected, but the Bridge Network cable is unplugged I have no idea what that is and if I need it to be connected to the internet. I called the Comcast service and the lady assistant did not even know what the Bridge cable is and I do not know ether since. I do not know what I should do to get the connection back to the PC; another PC work just fine also is connected to the router.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe have a costumer who has an asterix PBX behind an ASA i configured, the PBX i did not configure, we have several customers with the same setup. Today we have noticed that there PBX got hacked and was making calls to very expensive phone extensions. The guy who configured the PBX is saying that its the ASA who got hacked. In my opinion it is not the ASA that got hacked but i think there is something going on on the internal network.
They from th PBX says when he scans the IP of the customer who got hacked he sees port 5060 sip is open. but in the ASA ther is no port forwarding on that port, how is this possible?I also scanned it myself and it says port 5060 is open, which is weird because there is no port forwarding on port 5060.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have one webserver which open for public via http and https. The server sit behind Cisco ASA 5510. Today our webserver have been hacked by someone. The index.html has been replaced by hacker own index.html file. Is it anyway to detect who did (by IP) this? is my Cisco ASA can give any clue about it? How to prevent from this happening in Cisco ASA? FYI, my ASA only allow HTTP and HTTPS port from outside to internal. This ASA is solely dedicated to protect the webserver.

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some time, I cannot access some websites. It gives me a 401 the web site is blocked by the administrator. I use a d-link router and my brother is the administrator. He told me he hasn't blocked anything. We tried to reset the router but it still gives me the 401 problem.I think it isn't a router problem. I have tried using my laptop and tried to access some sites. It still gives me the error so i dont think it's a computer related problem. I have tried to ping it. It still doesn't work. I have also tried to erase all the cookies and cache. The problem is still there. How can I fix this? My operating system is Windows XP Professional version 2002 service pack 2.

I accessed Computer - System Properties - Clicked the "Change" button for "To rename this computer, click Change" and selected the "Workgroup" as opposed to the "Domain" option. View 5 Replies View RelatedHave set up a pair of ACS 5.3 servers and have set up device administration authentication be passed through to an RSA server via RADIUS. All works great.
What we want to do is go a step further and set the system up so that ACS Administrators also have to authenticate to the ACS system by RSA via RADIUS (the same as the Device Authentication we've set up) for ACS administration tasks.
Looking at the options available in the ACS Administration setup (administrator accounts etc) there doesn't seem to be an option to authenticate via another method apart from a local administrator account on the ACS.
Is it possible to do this?
every time i go to my log in it ask for a pass word i did not make a pass word i have put in all kinds of pass words and got no where it will not even give me a hint i have went to safe mode it still ask for pass word . i have windows 7 how to rid the problem so that i can get around the administrator and remove it so that i can make another administrator account.

1st PC is Mike-Laptoppc is on a Wireless connection to an ADSL+2 router/modem.
2nd PC is a Desktop Alexs-PC connected via cable to the same router/modem
I can share all the shared folders from the Desktop to the Laptop, but I can only share Media streaming on the Desktop from the Laptop, so I know there is a connection between the two computers. I have now turned off Media streaming to concentrate on just folder sharing.Whenever I try to access the Laptop from the Desktop I get an " Access Denied you do not have permission contact your administrator " box on the desktop.
I just just purchased a CSACSE-1113-K9 and I need to wipe the Administrator password. I am also not sure what the default login credentials even are. There doesn't seem to be much out there for this device or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place?

My router is really version 5.1 but I read on this forum that this router works with version 5 so I downloaded it and installed it.

And I can't do anything at all. Is there a fix for this? Is there an actual version 5.1 firmware? Or must I switch to a different, proper router?
We have below queries regarding new version of ACS 5.3.
a) Is it possible to view real time logs for AAA clients and for ACS administrator?
b) Is it possible to track each and every change record for ACS Administrators and sessions in ACS . Ex addition and deletion of commands in command sets. As of now, we are able to see that config has changed by ACS admin but not able to see which commands are changed (Added or Removed)
c) As per user guide of ACS 5.3, we have an option for creating customized reports but unfortunately we are not able to see same option in ACS 5.3 GUI. Need confirmation on the same.
d) Is it possible to do configuration changes for ACS via Command line.

View 1 Replies View Related2 days ago, my laptop was connected to my router and working fine. But it then randomly disconnected and haven't been able to connect back since. I am using an ethernet cable to access the internet, and have tried many ways to try and resolve the issue but nothing is working.
I have a Dell L501x (Win 7 64-bit) with the Intel Centrino 1000 BGN wifi card. I have restarted the router and modem and disconnected all devices and tried reconnecting, but to no avail. I have tried updating the drivers, system restoring and using safe mode (with network) but nothing works. The modem and router are working fine as other devices connect and access the internet, it is just my laptop that cannot.
I am sure it is not a hardware issue as the card detects all the surrounding networks. The troubleshooter only says "An administrator profile failed to obtain an IP address from the DHCP server.
recently my internet connection shows the status i mentioned.in cmd ,typed Ipconfig/all and all ip are 0.0.0.0, I Tried to renew the ip by ipconfig /renew it tells THE RPC SERVER IS UNAVAILABLE.and also tried to start DHCP CLIENT in services.msc and got ERROR 1068 : the depency service or group failed to start.
